The simplest of all and the cleanest, most tasteful hits you’ll ever get, could almost guarantee not a cough with the Ceram-X vape pen.
Pros:
Ready to use unboxed
Comes charged
Clean, soft touch
Easy to clean
Will not overheat if used right
Cons:
Comes with only 1 coil
Burns quick compared to other carts
Too simple (could be a pro)
Soft Hits (could be a pro)
Recommendation: Include a second atomizer with the vape pen.
One touch with a fine grip and even comfort for the lips
This smooth, sleek looking vape pen comes with everything you’ll need. From the charger, to the mini dabber keychain, the Ceram-x and don’t forget the mouth piece. All the necessities of this one pen for the softest and smoothest hits just in one box.
The simplicity of the Ceram-X makes it easy yet efficient to use
Twisting it from top to bottom, this pen makes it very easy to pack and hit. From the adjustable mouth piece, which happens to be a twist off cover cap, to the sleek battery. It also comes with a 510 thread tank/coil, all for a simple use and a soothing hit.
Durable while it lasts
Once charging, from half hour to an hour, the Ceram-x battery fills up. Depending on how you use it, it may last anywhere between 6-10 hours. This pen gives you an indication of the batter level, 4 lights and it will die on the second one.
The Ceram-X gives very light smoke and smooth hits
Such flavorful and tasty hit, you’d even be surprised that you’re hitting a dap pen. The Ceram-x gives very discrete smoke, so smooth that it will literally creep up on you. Personal preference of thick smoke, this pen is no where near as close to as a rig, but these smooth hits may pack a heavy hit. This pen is basically made for terpenes with the way it burns smoothly.Having a perfect airflow, this pen is made for the light smoke and practically is a vaporizer.
It’s only worth it if you’re in it for the terpenes
I personally believe that the Ceram-x is based strictly for flavors, but every hit is guaranteed for a smack in the face. If you’re looking for thick smoke this is not your pen, but if you’re looking for a discrete, flavory hits, the smoke will always come down smooth, never a raspy hit.
In conclusion, heavy, concentrate users would be better off hitting rigs. Unless you’re in it for strictly flavors and smooth hits, this is your vape pen. I personally believe it is pricey for this kind of pen and would like it to be a little lower, but overall a really great vape pen you can take anywhere on the go. You can get it here!

Click a button and fold your oil pen cartridge into your battery. Three heat settings and the easiest to charge vape we have used. Discretion and portability prove to be top notch in this O2VAPE Flip Platinum review. It is a reliable and easy to charge vape battery for 510 threadedTHC cartridges.
Update 07/23/2018: The battery has degraded after serious use where the high setting is not as powerful. If you have this issue contact O2Vape customer service for a replacement.
O2VAPE Flip Platinum Has A Solid Build And Effective Design
A very solid feel describes the O2VAPE Flip Platinum. The design is very effective in that the cartridge does not stick out when you are not using it. You simply press a button and fold the cartridge in. It also comes with an empty cartridge that you can fill with your own distillate.
The Flip vape battery has a built in charger the pops out. No screwing on a charger or additional USB cable required, this battery includes the charging cable and USB plug. Not having to keep a cable around is a nice bonus and this has come in handy quite often. The design also keeps the cartridge from hitting the ground if you drop it or getting broken while its sitting in your pocket. Since the actual cartridge is folded in, it is protected
Very Easy To Use: Flip And Click
The O2VAPE Flip is overall one of the easiest to use 510 batteries for prefills. No extra settings and charging is super simple.
On/Off And Changing Heat Settings On O2VAPE Flip
To the Flip on, just flip it open. Close it and it goes off automatically. Three clicks changes between strengths on the Flip. Green is lowest power, Orange is middle, and Red is the highest setting. Red is probably the only setting you need.
Check Cartridge Size Before Use To Make Sure It Fits
The picture below shows the size of cartridges that can be used in the flip. It is measured in inches from the point after the threading of the atomizer.
Hits Are Strong For Prefills; Might Be Weak For Regular Vapers
THe O2VAPE Flip is learly made for THC oil pen prefilled carts. You can use it with other types of vape cartridges, but you will not get any additional strength then you would from any standard eCig battery you get at the gas station. The Flip’s high setting (red) is just strong enough to get a solid hit out of a prefill like I used in our stick e vape review, but not too strong that it will pop the cartridge. I tried a few different carts on it on high setting, and never popped any of them.
O2VAPE Flip Platinum Review Shows A Super Portable and Discreet Vape With Keychain Loop And Folding
Close the vape and it fits nicely even in a small pocket. The corner has a loop to which you can attach it to a keychain. On a set of keys it looks like another modern car key.
This O2VAPE Flip review reveleaed it to be one of the most portable vape batteries out there. Some vape batteries are smaller, but they do not fully conceal the cartridge. When closed,
Convenient, But Expensive
The Flip Platinum goes for $54.95. Pretty expensive for a battery, but you can get an extra 15% off by pretending to check out, then closing it. You will then get offered a 15% off coupon, which is better than the regular 10% off coupon the give you standard. There are some cheaper version of the same battery out there, but O2VAPE offers a no questions asked, easy lifetime warranty, which adds some value.
In conclusion, this O2VAPE Flip Platinum review revealed a quality battery that is easily concealable and keeps your cartridge safe from damage when you are not vaping. If you want to vape but keep it discreet, the Flip is a great option. Interested in picking one up? You can get it here.
The Qloudup Nexus vape pen is designed for vaping wax and extracted cannabis oil. For our Qloudup Nexus review, we used wax an Americanna syringe filled with cannabis distillate oil tested at 85% THC. This vape pen battery has the standard 510 threaded connection, because of this, it can work with most prefilled cartridges. We decided to try out a prefilled vape cartridge with this vape pen battery too. Keep reading our in-depth sssssreview to find see the strengths and weaknesses of the Nexus vape.
Design and build quality of the vape pen is OK. Low temps do well on the Nexus.
The Qloudup Nexus has decent vaping capabilities but I couldn’t get any major clouds from its atomizer. It heats slowly, however, delivering great low temp hits. I created a video below demonstrating a hit from this vape pen so you can see the vape it produces is very faint that it’s almost not possible to see. There are vape pens that deliver a lot more for
Qloudup Nexus review reveals a high cost wax pen.
The Qloudup Nexus vape pen cost $79.95 and comes with 3 different atomizers that contain no glue. The battery is decent. Atomizers can use glue to prevent leaks like we found in our Kandypens Elite review. The steel carrying case is sturdy and convenient. The Nexus vape has a nice feel to it with its steal black matte finish.
This dab pen fails at what its main purpose it was designed for which is vaping efficiently. I felt like some of the wax was wasted. Coil placement was not optimal. The coils were bunched together. On Qloudup’s front page you can see they do not even use real pictures for the atomizers. It is all digital.
Atomizers are great for those who enjoy to vape low temp.
I used the Nexus crystal quartz single atomizer with titanium coils to vape cannabis distillate oil. Although I didn’t experience big clouds I still chocked up after vaping in the video above and was fully medicated. The was decent but nothing overpowering. Looking at the atomizers they do appear to be a titanium alloy and not a straight Grade 2 titanium or better like we saw in our review of the Omicron v5 by W9Tech. The atomizers can hold a half gram of wax which makes them deeper than most other atomizers on the market
The Qloudup coilless atomizer did seem a bit old school. Ceramic donut atomizers came out around 2015. I expected at least a ceramic plate like the Kandypens Prism, but prefer something that is more of a sealed bucket like the Puffco Plus. The most comparable item you can get to the Qloud Nexus is the Source Slim 3 and it is only $40. The hits off Slim 3 were stronger though. Replacements on the Nexus are $12.95 for coiled and $14.95 for coilless. Not an awful price, but its very old technology and because of that it scores lower on replacements than most other vapes.
Final thoughts about this wax pen.
It didn’t perform up to expectations for a wax pen that cost $79.99. As previously stated, there are other dab pens that perform much better for less. The battery life on this vape pen is phenomenal which is another reason why I would recommend this vape pen for prefilled cartridges. We need to see some more innovation from this company with their atomizers for wax because the battery alone does not justify the high cost and the atomizers are the same as those available in 2015. Looking to buy it still? You can here.

Both Kandypens and Puffco have been around the vape game for a while. Kandypens has a lot more advertising with its music video features, but has had its fair share of product issues, but now they are working to fix them and all and deliver quality products. When it comes to Kandypens vs Puffco, Puffco wins due to the Puffco Plus being better than the Kandypens Prism and Prism+.
Here we will take a look at their best vape pens, and you will see why the Puffco vape pen comes out ahead.
Kandypens vs Puffco – Overall Scoring
Puffco Plus Overall Score: 7.5
Kandypens Prism+ Overall Score: 7.2
Ease of use and effeciency are really where Puffco edges out Kandypens. The Prism+ and Prism atomizer use a ceramic plate, which still can have some wax go underneath. The Puffco Plus has a solid cup which is more efficient.
Puffco Has Superior Build Quality Compared to Kandypens
All of Puffco’s products have better build quality than the Kandypens products. A lot of Kandypens products are just rebranded Aristech items. Not the greatest. Puffco does seem to design its own vapes, as they are unique.
Although we compared two of their best vape pens, when you down the line, the rest of Kandypens vs Puffco just depends on opinion. The Kandypens will give you a harder hit, but the Puffco Pro 2 has a higher quality feel to it.
Puffco Plus is just more efficient than the Kandypens vapes. In conclusion, Puffco makes a better vape pen than Kandypens. Puffco is also a more trustworth company. See our full Kandypens Prism+ review and Puffco Plus review for more information. You can buy the Puffco Plus and Kandypens Prism+ at King Pen Vapes.
Who do you think should win? Leave a comment below!
Kandypens and Dr Dabber are two vape pen companies that have been around for a while. Previously Kandypens has had issues with glue on their atomizers but this has since been fixed with the Kandypens Prism and Prism+. Dr Dabber has had their own poor product history with the old Dr Dabber Boost containing Teflon. Both companies have fixed these issues though which is great news. This Kandypens vs Dr Dabber match up is close.
Kandypens vs Dr Dabber – KP Slightly Better on Coilless
The recent Kandypens Prism is an improvement as its the first Kandypens vape pen that we have seen without glue. Now they are removing glue from all vape pens which is a great development. The Kandypens Gravity and Galaxy both had glue in them in the past. Now this is being fixed.
Dr Dabber Aura coiled atomizers are on par with Kandypens Prism and Prism+. Both seem to be titanium alloys and no testing as to purity is available. Dr Dabber Aurora and the Prism/Prism+’s differ on coilless atomizers. Dr Dabber still uses the very 2015 ceramic disc in a quartz cup that was first in the old version of the SOURCE orb 3. If you really like that Aurora style, the get the orb 3 for $50. There might be coupons to even make it cheaper.
Build Quality – Both Are Very Basic
Kandypens and Dr Dabber both come with standard batteries. You are paying a lot more for a battery that is on par with what you buy in an ecig kit at a gas station. For build quality, its a tie, and Kandypens has a bit nicer feel to it.
Kandypens vs Dr Dabber: KP Wins But Both Nothing Special
When it comes to Kandypens vs Dr Dabber – neither is really that great. Kandypens has a bad track record. Dr Dabber is very China feeling. If you are looking for a simple, easy pen, see our Puffco Plus review. If you want strong hits from a quality coiled atomizer, check out our Omicron v5 review. Either of these is better than any pen from Kandypens or Dr Dabber.
The VVS vape pen has some nice looking product packaging. They are trying to promote their disposable vape pen as a premium luxury product. I wasn’t too impressed by their premium luxury disposable wax pen. My favorite thing about this VVS vape pen review was the convenience of the product, unfortunately, after that, there wasn’t too much more I was impressed with. The design of the vape pen itself is nice however didn’t feel luxury or premium to me.
Update 01/16/2019 – VVS Presidential OG – Geoff:
After testing the VVS vape pen, I agree wholeheartedly with the original assessment. As far as premium and luxury go, there isn’t much to find. The idea is that you can get several uses by buying the VVS syringes for refills. As for the oil itself, it was flavorful and with strong effect. One gram, however, vapes up faster than most .5 gram cartridges.
Looking for a better THC oil vapes than VVS? Check out our picks for the best cartridges in CA.
Design and Quality is the same as some others.
The VVS Vape pen does not have a unique design, a friend of mine purchased a prefilled vape pen from another brand (thclear) that was the exact same design. Alpine Vapor uses the same vape pen. These versions are an improvement over what companies like Bumblebee are currently using. The hits are significantly bigger and the cannabis oil tastes great.
Geoff – VVS features their products, as other brands do, in these all-in-one disposable pens. They all use a similar design with the battery and cartridge being one piece. Screw off the top and they’re super easy to refill. Like the other designs, VVS disposable pens have a small window so you can see the level of the remaining oil. Note that the battery has a safety shut off with a very short window. You can just repress the button if you want an extended hit.
Strength was there with this VVS vape pen.
My favorite thing about reviewing the VVS vape pen review is the strength of its cannabis oil. It’s more potent than other disposable vape pens such as the Bumblebee vape pen. There is no information available about the exact THC amount in these wax pens. I prefer to have that data when selecting a cartridge.
Geoff – The concentrate is strong with the VVS Presidential OG vape pen. You are able to get big hits by resetting the battery a couple times. Like the original review, the VVS Presidential OG has no information about THC content.
Flavor was not bad, but not impressive either.
The taste reminded me of the Bumblebee. VVS vape pens have a fragrance added to them as stated on their website to allow for discreet vaping, but on the same page they say nothing is added. They could be referencing not having anything to additionally dilute, and not be including their fragrance. This strain really reminded of the flavor profiles of the strain J1 I tried from the Dab Face dab applicator. I am assumingterpenes are added for flavor.
Geoff – There’s nothing different, besides the strain, with the VVS Presidential OG. The flavor is enjoyable, but not superb. Hints of pine are all that is present with the earthy aroma taking over the palate.
Decent price for a full gram of potent cannabis oil.
There are many other disposable vape pens available for less that are superior. This pre-fill vape pen does not offer enough for me to want to buy it again. The average selling price for a VVS vape pen is $45.00 for one gram in the Bay Area. If you have a battery better options are there, but if you do not this might be a convenient option.
Geoff – Price in North San Diego County is just a bit lower than in the Bay area at $40.00. This may be a clearance price at this point. This is for a one gram pen, but the fact that it vapes up so fast drives the value of the pricing way down. $10.00 – $15.00 would be more reasonable.
Efficiency at vaping huge clouds is great.
The VVS vape pen battery lasted long to my amazement. The battery lasted for three days of consistent usage. I had other disposable vape pens such as hmbdlt, now known as Dosist, battery die with oil remaining in the cartridge.
Geoff – Perhaps when you compare the VVS vape pen to other similar brand styles, the oil lasts longer. But head to head with most disposable cartridges, it doesn’t last anywhere near as long. This is really a huge disappointment with the VVS vape pen in general.
Clean premium cannabis oil without anything extra in the ingredients.
VVS claims their oil is pure without any dilutents added. I couldn’t find any lab results online for this VVS vape pen review. Many other disposable pre-filled cartridges or vape pens don’t only claim it but back it up with lab results online. A great example is Kurvana including lab results with their cartridges. While at a poker game with some friends I found myself hitting this pen more than the Brass Knuckles Cartridge I had with me.
Geoff – There isn’t any new information to report with the VVS Presidential OG pen. You are welcome to visit the VVS website, though their homepage is under construction at the moment. You can still view their products, though they make no mention of any lab testing. Not even on their FAQ page.
Number of Hits are not the same as a 510 prefilled cartridge.
VVS vape pens are comparable to other disposable pre-filled vapes I have tried and didn’t long as long as a pre-filled 510 cartridge. I personally recommend 510 pre-filled cartridges over disposable vape pens, the reason is that they vape better and last longer. My friend actually prefers buying this VVS vape pen over cartridges, the reason for it is because she is always losing her vape pen batteries. Let’s not forget either that throwing away a battery every time is not good for the environment either.
Geoff – This reiterates the point that the VVS disposable vape pen just doesn’t last that long. You’ll get way better mileage from almost any disposable cartridge.
Final Thoughts On My VVS Vape Pen Review
In conclusion, I will not purchase this disposable vape pen again for my on the go vaping needs. I purchased it for this VVS vape pen review and that was it. Other companies are using the same type of vape pen for their cannabis oil such as Alpine Vapor and THClear. I recommend going with a battery and a 510 pre-filled cartridge over a disposable pre-filled wax pen. See my comparison of Heavy Hitters vs. Brass Knuckles for a side by side of two more popular 510 pre-filled cartridges. To learn more about VVS vape pens, see here.
Geoff – Unless it’s one of the very few options you have in a dispensary, spend your money on something else. Value for the price on the VVS Presidential OG is horrible at $40.00. Consider getting a cartridge, wax, or just plain nugs and you’ll be glad you did.

For this review, we will compare two Puffco models that people have recently been interested in. The Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus!
Puffco’s third vaporizer, the slim, polished Puffco Pro 2 is their smallest vape pen yet. Featuring a stainless-steel body and easy to access single coil chamber. It’s a good looking, solid little pen.
Puffco’s motto is “The New Standard”. The Puffco Plus is smooth and easy to use with the Puffco Dart, and we think original from top to bottom. In comparison to the Pro 2, the Plus is better overall (except for the tiny size difference). Is this $99 vape pen “the New Standard” in vaping?

What Does Each Include?
Design & Quality: Puffco Plus Wins
Puffco Pro 2
The PuffCo Pro 2 comes in a small plastic case that holds the battery, atomizer and mouthpiece, a wide (flat) loading tool, and a thread-on USB charger. The stainless-steel construction gives it a solid feel, and there’s a shock absorbing silicone cap on the bottom. This is a nice touch, for durability’s sake. A silicone splash guard has also been placed inside the mouthpiece.
The PuffCo Pro 2 is one of the smallest pens around at 12.5mm wide. However, the 430mAh battery means small capacity, and doesn’t last a long time. The Puffco Pro 2 battery threads together with the atomizer, and the mouthpiece easily twists off. To power the Pro 2, a squishy cloud shaped button is used to activate the vaporizer and cycle through each of the three heat settings. Double clicking will activate the newly added twelve second ‘sesh mode’, originally limited to the Puffco Plus.
The PuffCo Pro 2 employs a single white ceramic rod with an “Iron/chromium/aluminum alloy” wire wrapped around it four times. PuffCo support confirmed they specify Kanthal heating wire, and join their heating wire to non-resistance leads with crimps. However, they couldn’t satisfactorily answer why our heating wire had a large glob of unknown material inside the ceramic cup.
White ceramic is quite non-porous, it doesn’t have the capacity to absorb or wick oil. For that reason, the white rod serves mostly to hold the wire in place. A small amount of oil adheres when initially loaded, but once hot tends to run away from the hot wire. The thin wire wrapped only four times doesn’t provide much surface area for heat transfer. The air inlets have been moved for better airflow across the heater, which is a positive improvement.
Puffco Plus
The Puffco Plus looks like a vape pen designed by Apple, with a beautiful gunmetal design. The mouthpiece blends perfectly into the battery with just 4 small slits for airflow. Inside the mouthpiece you’ll see the new ceramic Puffco ‘Dart’ which acts as a dab tool, and a carb cap! This definitely comes in handy later.
For vapers who wish to stick with their own high-powered mod, the Puffco Plus may not be for you. Unlike the Puffco Pro 2 that uses a standard 510 connection, the Puffco Plus looks like an eGo connection. This prevents you from using other batteries. The 530mAh battery operating sub-ohm drains quickly, so if you like to use Sesh Mode on high, you’ll need to charge it within 30 minutes.
The Puffco Plus atomizer is a sub-ohm ceramic cup with 4 air holes in the middle. The heating element is a ceramic plate. Unlike cheap quality ceramic plate vaporizers, this ceramic cup fits snugly inside. A good line up on the ceramic plate is important for this type of atomizer, to avoid major leakage.
The Puffco Plus battery features a very subtle cloud light on the bottom of the battery. Just like the Pro 2, the silicone cloud power button is a nice change from the typical hard plastic button found on most vape pens. The battery has 3 standard heat settings. There is also the additional “Sesh Mode” option, which activates the battery and heats for 12 seconds on your select temperature.
The sub-ohm atomizer produces a lot of heat (like most coil-less atomizers). The outside of the chamber gets very hot with back to back Sesh Modes on High.
Ease of Use: Puffco Plus’ Dart Takes The Cake
BOTH vape pens are extremely easy to assemble and use, as explained on enclosed instruction card;
Click the silicone cloud five times to turn the battery on or off. Press four times to get to the next heat level. Green for low (580 °), Blue for medium (650 °), and White for high power (720 °). Just double click to activate “Sesh” mode at any power setting. Sesh mode sends power for twelve seconds straight.
Having to remember to bring the charger with you is an added annoyance. A micro USB port could’ve made for a much easier set up. The threaded charger requires you to unthread the atomizer for each charge, which can also be a hassle.
The airflow on the PuffCo Pro 2 disappoints compared to other pens. I was surprised to find it difficult to inhale through the Pro 2’s atomizer. Even before the first load, the Pro 2 had a very restricted airflow.
The Puffco Plus is ridiculously easy to use. So far this vape pen wins the overall award for ease. To load your Puffco Plus twist the mouthpiece off quickly with a half turn. The Puffco ‘Dart’ is built inside the Plus mouthpiece. Acting as a dab tool, the ceramic tip picks up your material and perfectly places it on the heating element when screwed on. After you fill the Plus vape pen, just replace the mouthpiece and lock with a half-twist. This feature is a Puffco Plus winner, and really adds to ease of use.
Sesh Mode
When looking at Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus, you need to consider that even the same function works differently with different atomizers and batteries. PuffCo decided to incude “Sesh mode” in the Pro 2. Pulse the button twice for 12 seconds of continuous heating. If you use this mode on Blue or White, buckle up – a lot of hot vapor is coming your way. I only enjoyed it on Low Green, and honestly just prefer taking another hit normally.
Sesh Mode shines more on the Puffco Plus. Load the pen easily using the Dart, pulse the button twice and puff away. Puffco Plus’s coil-less atomizer needs a few seconds to warm up to begin with, so 12 seconds works well. Unlike the Puffco Pro 2, which would burn wax after 6+ seconds of sesh mode as the coil got too hot.
Strength: Puffco Pro 2’s Coiled Atomizers Deliver Harder Hits Than The Plus
The Puffco Plus will give out strong hits, but this vape pen was really built for flavor. Sesh Mode on white (high) on the Plus is still not as strong as on the Pro 2!
The Puffco Pro 2 on the other hand is the opposite, with strong hits being one of its biggest features. Despite the restricted airflow, the Pro 2 effortlessly delivers clouds. Even the lowest setting churns out visible vapor hits, and White is hot enough to choke me out (maybe too hot for this coil). The Pro 2 packs a lot of power in a small package. However, the single wick coil doesn’t have the same quality of vapor or vapor production at any heat level, compared to a coil-less atomizer like the Plus.
Efficiency: The Coilless Atomizer On The Plus and The Dart Give The Plus a Win
The PuffCo Pro 2’s high powered heating wire ensures efficient use of your wax, but only if loaded sparingly. Too much and you’ll splatter un-vaped oil on the chamber walls and inside the splatter guard. The guard is effective at preventing splatter from reaching your mouth, but the shape makes it difficult to recover and use. I ended up taking it out and leaving it that way. Without a real wick to feed oils into the heater, a little oil pooling is unavoidable.
The Puffco Plus is one of the most efficient vape pens we’ve reviewed, so far. Unlike other ceramic plate atomizers, the Puffco Plus’ atomizer was snuggly fit with almost surgical precision. This means that almost no wax is lost or un-vaped. You’ll still get some wax on the walls, but this can be easily recovered since there aren’t any coils or rods. The Puffco Dart also adds a lot to efficiency. This Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus comparison shows us that you need to look at all the details in order to really understand how each vape pen works.
Versatility / Atomizer Options: Kind of Weak On Both
The Puffco Pro 2 only supports one style of heating element. The single white ceramic rod with four wraps of thin gauge unknown alloy wire, fit to the Pro 2’s mouthpiece. The PuffCo Plus also has a single type of atomizer, a ceramic plate coil-less atomizer.
PuffCo Pro “1” owners were already upset at the need to purchase a completely new vaporizer with a very similar form to experience the new heating chamber. PuffCo explained that the Plus’ battery is more powerful than the Pro, so it was required. As vapers love to have flexibility in their products, PuffCo’s decision to require complete units to try different heating elements seems out of touch. When most vape pens have at least a coiled and coil-less option available for a vape pen, the Pro 2 feels very 2015.
If you want something easy, you’re better off with the Plus.
Portability of Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus: Pro 2 Smaller, but Dart On Plus Helps Portability
The PuffCo Pro 2 is one of the smallest wax pens, and is very portable on its own. If you’ll need to charge it however, you’ll have to bring along its special USB charger. Unfortunately, the Pro 2 carrying case can’t accommodate the assembled vape pen. It requires unthreading the atomizer off the battery each time you put the pen in the case. You may also need the case to carry your dab tool, etc. Luckily, the Pro 2’s stainless body holds up well in your pocket (even against keys), so if it’s fully charged and filled, you’re good to go.
The Puffco Plus is not as small as the Puffco Pro 2, but redefines the meaning of portability with its new Puffco Dart. The Puffco Pro 2 may be smaller, but you need either extremely stable wax (easy to move) or must carry a dab tool. With the Puffco Plus, you just take the Plus itself and your wax! The Dart acts as the dab tool and is built right into the mouthpiece.
The newly designed cap for atomizers not in use are great for pre-loading an extra atomizer for later, instead of bringing a small container. Neither Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus battery is brilliant, but the Plus is a slight improvement.
Discretion: Pretty Close
The small size of the PuffCo Pro 2 allows you to throw it in a pocket and bust it out anywhere you see fit. It is pretty shiny, so it would be nice to see it available in a darker color, for those really going for discretion. Other than that, there isn’t much that could be improved upon here.
The Puffco Plus is about as discreet as they come, with sleek gunmetal exterior and small size. Take a hit on low power and few will notice. The light on the bottom of the battery is faint (unlike the Kandypens Elite) and can be easily covered with a finger. The Dart adds to discretion by eliminating any need to fiddle with extra tools.
Taste of Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus: Coilless For Sure Playa
With PuffCo Pro 2’s emphasis on ease and cloud production, there’s no surprise that flavor isn’t a big factor. The first hit on a load with a freshly cleaned chamber tastes great, but the flavor degrades quickly after (even with small loads). When kept on Green (low) the taste stays decent for some time, and the first hit or two are nice and fresh. After those first hits I never get the same level of flavor until I do a full deep clean. Even after trying PuffCo’s high temp burn off suggestion and going back to a fresh load on Green, the taste could not be restored. If you are looking for a vaporizer to deliver fantastic flavor from terpene rich oils, keep looking.
On the other end of the spectrum is the Puffco Plus, which tastes incredible. The low setting on the Plus provides perfect low temp hits which allow all those nice terpenes to shine. Even the White (high) Setting still leaves you with a great taste in your mouth. Those looking to savor their wax are in for a treat. You won’t get the burning wax taste on this vape pen. The downside for some is no super hard rips.
Value: Shell Out a bit More For The Plus
Previously priced at $89.99, the PuffCo Pro 2 is now down to $75.95 on the website (saving you $14). The Pro 2 packaging and look certainly give an impression of quality, as does its solid build quality and precision of parts. It comes with a charger, case, and dab tool. However, the four-wrap Kanthal wire around a single ceramic rod heating element and chamber seems quite dated in comparison to many pens today. Others have managed to employ dual coil heating elements, porous black ceramic wicks, quartz walls & rods. Not to mention wireless, donut style, and the next gen of sealed chambers like the PuffCo Plus.
The flavor and performance of the Pro 2 reflect the technology of the heat source. Though the price has dropped, the high cost for a vape pen with restricted airflow, one atomizer and low flavor potential doesn’t seem like the first choice.
The Puffco Plus was originally $99.99 when released, but then they raised their price another $20 to $119.99. However, It was just recently lowered back to $99.99.
The kit includes the Puffco Plus, a charger, a pack of 4 cotton swabs, and a Puffco Grip sleeve. The Puffco Grip is a great little silicone sleeve that was added later. It makes it easier to hold your Puffco Plus, and also stops it from rolling around. You don’t get a case, but the built in Dart means you rarely need one. It also includes an extra chamber atomizer with a cap. Count the extra chamber for its retail $25 and you’re paying around $75 for the Puffco Plus.
It also comes with a 1 Year Warranty that covers the sub-ohm battery and charger. The Plus is an incredible, self-contained vape pen.
Replacement Costs: You Get What You Pay For
Replacement costs aren’t great for either Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus. The Puffco Pro 2 replacements for its white ceramic single coil are $19.99. This is a high price for a low-tech heater of white ceramic single coil with four wraps of an aluminum-alloyed metal. So, take good care of your coil as these will get expensive to replace over time.
Puffco Plus replacements come in at $24.95 apiece. You can get 5 of them for $100. It’s on par with other atomizers, but also includes a cap when you purchase separately. Just don’t lose your battery, or you’re paying $50 for a Puffco battery replacement.
Final Thoughts on Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus
The Puffco Pro 2 might be just what you’re looking for if strength is your priority. The Pro 2 is the smallest choice between Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus. It’s solid and has a nice polished exterior. However, if taste matters more, this is probably not the vape pen for you! The single coil atomizer gets extremely hot and though gives strong hits, can burn wax.
We think the Puffco Plus is one of the best vape pens out right now. The Plus includes an extra chamber and is ridiculously easy to use with the built in Puffco Dart and Sesh Mode (which is now on both, but works better with the Plus’ coil-less atomizer). The Plus gives you flavorful hits every time. We also love the darker and more discreet look of its gunmetal exterior. It’s got a slightly better battery than the Pro 2, but still be wary of the battery life when you go out.
The Pro 2 comes with a case and dab tool. However, the Plus includes the Puffco Dart and an extra ceramic atomizer, which are more valuable in our opinion. For those looking for ease of use and constant smooth, tasty hits, the Plus is our Puffco Pro 2 vs Plus comparison choice for sure! The Puffco Plus wins!
People often wonder what is the best vape pen to get. There are tons of options out there, many of them junk from smoke shops that still have wicks in it. Then there are the brands that at least have some minimum quality standard, and that is what we cover here. When it comes to Puffco vs Dr Dabber, both are higher quality items on the wax pen spectrum.
Are There Even Better Vape Pens than Puffco or Dr Dabber?
When it comes to coiled atomizers, the W9 Tech Omicron v5 is definitely better than the Puffco Pro 2 or the Dr Dabber Aura.Take a look below at those high end attys.
To the left there is a Dr Dabber Ghost atomizer for comparison. I know the W9Tech photo is much better, but you can see the difference in the wire qualities regardless. Plus W9Tech’s wrap is on point.
When it comes to coilless, The Puffco Plus however it an awesome vape and offers a very simple to use, compact setup with a great tasting coilless atomizer.
When it comes to build quality and form factor on Puffco vs Dr Dabber, the Puffco Plus is top notch. Compared to the 2014 style coilless ceramic donut atomizer on the Dr. Dabber Aurora, Puffco wins this round with a KO.
Puffco Coiled Atomizers vs. Dr Dabber Coiled Atomizers
Both are not stellar in this category. As mentioned above, W9Tech’s Omicron makes both Puffco or Dr Dabber’s coiled atomizers not even a consideration for purchase from me.
However, this is a draw between Puffco vs Dr Dabber. The airflow on the Dr Dabber Ghost and Aura with a coiled atomizer is substantially better than the airflow on the Puffco Pro 2. The feel of the Ghost is much cheaper than the Pro 2 though. The Pro 2 also has a better wrapped coil and appears to have a higher quality wire.
Both seem to have solder or a melting point, indicating they are not higher grade titanium like the W9tech.
Puffco vs. Dr Dabber: Coilless Atomizers
Puffco easily takes the cake here. Dr Dabber is on some 2014 nonsense with that ceramic disc Aura as their coilless vape pen. I give them credit that the Dr Dabber Boost eRig is decent, but they are way behind the game in the coilless atomizer department. The coilless atomizers on the Puffco Plus are substantially better than the Dr Dabber Aura. Puffco wins this by a long shot.
Build Quality and Design: Puffco Takes The Title
Even though I am not a Puffco Pro 2 fan, it has a much better feel to it than any of the Dr Dabber vape pens. The Puffco Plus has both functionality and great build quality going for it.
Dr Dabber vape pens with the rubber texture in black just does not feel as good. The Dr Dabber Light has a wicked atomizer, is this 2012 playa?
I get that the Dr Dabber Light is a cheap vaporizer, but at least give me a ceramic rod in there. The Light tastes awful after loading it just a few times. To Dr Dabber’s credit though, Puffco does not make any vape pens this cheap. So on the cheap of cheap, Dr Dabber might win the Puffco vs Dr Dabber lowest cost category. Still at the Light’s MSRP, you are much better off spending the extra for a Puffco Plus.
When comparing the Dr. Dabber Aura or Ghost to the Puffco Plus, the Plus not only feels better, but it’s a better quality vape pen.
Who Wins In The Puffco vs. Dr Dabber Vape Pen Battle? Puffco!
The best overall vape pen for any user is subjective. But there are certain quality standards we can use to say this vape is better than that. If I take the best of Puffco, the Puffco Plus, and compare it to the best of Dr Dabber, the Aura, the Plus wins.
If I compare the similarly priced Dr. Dabber Ghost and the Puffco Pro 2, they are about even. The Ghost wins on hit strength, while the Pro 2 wins on build quality. Even though I think the Dr Dabber Light is poor quality, I am not weighing it as much because Puffco does not have a competitor to it.
Overall, when it comes to Puffco vs Dr Dabber, Puffco has the Plus, which is a vape pen I would actually buy and use on the regular. Dr Dabber does not. The overall build quality of Puffco vape pens is higher than that of Dr Dabber. Dr Dabber quality just screams Chinese re-brand. Puffco wins.
Select Oil Cartridges are affordable with High-quality Cannabis Oil
You can get a Select Oil cartridge in the Bay area for a very affordable price. I first purchased this cartridge for $26.00 at Harborside in Oakland California. This company is from Portland, Oregon where the legalization of recreational marijuana occurred a year before California. This has allowed them a head start innovating cannabis oil cartridges, this definitely shows with the select cartridge.
UPDATE 5/3/2019: See our new Select Elite review that covers more strains over two states and their new potent distillate formula. Select Elite is the premier version of Select Oil cartridges with higher THC percentages. They made our best of California and best of Nevada cartridge lists.
UPDATE 9/11/2019: DISCLAIMER: In light of more recent news, it has become apparent that black market cartridges, counterfeit cartridges, and fake brands of cartridges have become more widespread than we had ever realized. We urge readers to apply their own discretion, and caution that at no point should readers assume that a review of a cartridge on our site is a guarantee of its safety. We advise readers to always verify their cartridges as coming from a legitimate source.

The Select Oil Cartridge Design is not your typical 510 threaded cart
I really like the design of the Select Oil cartridge, it does not use any silica wicks or coils. Instead, it has organic Japanese cotton and a ceramic core. Vaping with this cartridge is smooth and enjoyable, you can vape big clouds. Glass has been replaced with plastic which prevents damage from drops. Also, this cartridge will vape every last drop of THC oil.
Oil Strength compares to brass knuckles and heavy hitters
The co2 oil in this prefilled cartridge is fantastic! The Elite selection ranges from 75-95% THC. I tried the cookies strain which was over 80% and enough to get quickly medicated. Additional good information to know is the serving of THC per hit is 2.7mg each. The only other prefilled vape pen that has this information is the hmbldt vape pen, they claim each of their hits is 2.25mg. I have experienced some of the strongest cannabis oil in this cart.
Taste of Vape is Great
Not all oil taste the same and this holds true with Select Oil cartridges. This is some of the best-tasting cannabis oil I have vaped at this price. I really liked the taste of cannabis with the Cookie Kush strain I vaped. I recommend this prefilled pen to anyone who enjoys the same taste of cannabis. Make sure to use a low voltage vape pen and not a mod. A mod battery was too harsh when I tried it and then I used a 3.5-volt volt vape pen that worked perfectly with this prefilled cartridge.
Select cartridges are high quality with a budget Price
I paid $26.00 dollars for a half gram cartridge I did not expect to have such a great experience with this pre-filled oil cartridge. This is the best CO2 cartridge for the price it’s going. The Americanna cartridge cost around the same and cannot compete with the performance of Select. This is the best prefilled vape cartridge sold at this price and that is why it’s now our number one budget recommended cart to buy. Unforunately, select cartridges can not be reused like others such as Brass Knuckles and Heavy Hitters vape cartridges.
Number of puffs are as much as others that cost more
I vape frequently throughout my day, this half a gram lasted me 2 days which is what other brands usually last me and there are well over 50 puffs available so you can share with friends. Each puff produces a lot of vape clouds. Select Oil cartridges let you take huge puffs and enjoy them too which is what others in the same price bracket do not.
Final thoughts on the Select Oil Cartridge
The Select Cartridge review has passed our test. Its now our number one recommended budget hash oil pen without any sacrifices. I encourage you to pick one up if you’re lucky enough to be in California or Oregon.
We notice Kurvana has copied their design with their new cartridges. You must be doing something right to have others mimic you. Let us know your own review in the comments if you tried this magnificent prefilled vape pen. The Select Oil Elite cartridge review was a true pleasure. More info on Select Oil can be found here.
Dosist Pen Review reveals a very effective CBD Cartridge
The Dosist pen review was a great experience. At the time of review, it was called the hmbldt pen, but was just recently relabeled. This vape pen is a very efficient medical cannabis oil vaporizer. I’ve tried many vape pens and cartridges before this review, there was no other as nice and effective. The Dosist calm vape pen is true to its name and provided me with a calm feeling. I never tried CBD before I tried this Dosist pen. I was astonished at its pain relieving and anxiety relief effects it provided. There is a very small minor head change from the 4% THC in the vape pen.
Design Quality was professional inside and out.
This product is of the highest quality when it comes to vaping cannabis oil. The Dosist vape pen is recyclable, you can turn them in for a $5.00 discount. It’s the only recyclable vape pen on the market that provides precise dosages of CBD. The Dosist dose pen will vibrate after one dosage, there’s also a light that flashes to indicate to stop. It looks like it came straight out of a pharmacy. Times magazine voted the Dosist pen one of the best inventions for 2016.
Strength of Dose and Recommendation Amounts are Appropriate.
The number of doses recommended are accurately suggested. The directions are simple, new cannabis smokers should start off with one puff an hour. Occasional cannabis smokers are recommended two doses an hour. Three puffs an hour should only be taken for those who frequently use cannabis. I took three puffs before I went to sleep at night and I am instantly relaxed. There’s a light head change with this CBD vape pen, but it’s not an intense head high. I actually felt calm and relaxed using this recyclable CBD cartridge.
This pen I liked so much I actually bought three more right after trying this CBD cartridge. I switched from vaping concentrated THC oil cartridges to vaping a prefilled CBD vape pen. Now I begin my day with a puff of CBD so I can maintain my energy and stay productive. I always found myself sapped of energy after vaping wax cartridges with too much THC.
The Taste on the Dosist Pen is a great blend of terpenes and cannabis extracted oil
The taste of CBD is unique and different than THC. The taste is very pleasant and light. The vape is a very cool mist and not harsh on the throat at all. It has a familiar taste of cannabis. It’s truly a medical device that provides medicine that is enjoyable to vape.
Dosist offers Affordable Recycleable Vape Pens
The cost of the Dosist 50 dose pen is $40.00 at my local dispensary, a larger 200 dose size is available at $100.00. These two options make it affordable for those who don’t need to use much of this CBD product. Those who need it more frequently can save money on a 200 dose pen for $100.00. Incorporating this CBD vape pen into your day can help reduce the use of THC vape pens and cartridges.
Most of the Dosist Pens are Efficient with its Accuracy of Doses
After going through multiple Dosist vape pens I experienced accuracy with most of them. They are reliable and affordable but not perfect. I had consistency with the smaller dose pens but not with the larger 200 dose pen. I didn’t get the same vape clouds from the bigger pen, I experienced bigger clouds from the smaller pen. Either of these vape pens will not give you big vape clouds.
As you can see in the video below each hit doesn’t emit too much vapor. Three hits are the perfect amount to take before bed. The recommended doses are appropriate. It’s recommended three doses per hour for a heavy cannabis user, as someone in this category it proved to be suitable. I allowed a friend to try it who isn’t a cannabis smoker, she only needed one puff per hour to feel relief from pain in her knee. One puff is the recommendation for those inexperienced with cannabis.
Ingredients are triple checked during three different stages.
These ape pens are made with cannabis grown in Humboldt County, California. Labeled on the back of the packaging are THC, CBD, and terpenes. No fillers or additives is also stated. Dosist conducts multiple lab tests during three different stages. CO2 or Ethanol is used for extraction. Lab tests are conducted looking for pesticides, microbio, or residual solvents. The second lab test is done after the fractional distillation, additives and contaminations are searched for in these test. The final lab test is done after terpenes have been added with the extracted cannabinoids.
As you can see above there’s a sample code provided with each purchase, you can see the lab results using this code at sclabs.com.
The number of hits available come in 50 and 200 doses
The Dosist Pen lets you know the exact amount of doses you’re going to buy. Their 50 dose vape pen cost $40.00 and their 200 dose option is priced at $100.00. I went through 4 CBD vape pens total in a couple of weeks. The doses are accurate. I never had any issues getting my full count. I only tried the 50 dosage pens so I can’t comment yet on the 200 doses.
Overall conclusion: One of the Best CBD Vape Pens
CBD is truely a medicine that provides a natural calming and pain relief. As someone with anxiety, I benefited significantly having this Dosist CBD vape pen. The effects are felt right away. I had trouble keeping track of how many doses I used so having a counter on the vape pen would be helpful. I will now be using CBD in my daily life after trying it out. Its definitely worth trying out once to see what benefits it may have for you personally. You can find more information on the Dosist pen here.
For this comparison, we look at two KandyPensvape pen models that people are most curious about…The KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism! We will be using the DJ Esco “56 Nights” Edition as our Galaxy example, but the design is identical to the well-known Galaxy vaporizer.

KandyPens Prism:

Design & Quality: No Competition – Prism Wins
First, let’s look at the design of KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism. Kandypens launched their first “Signature Series” special edition collaboration with hip hop producer DJ Esco. The name “56 Nights” refers to the 56 nights that DJ Esco spent in jail in Dubai in 2015 for possession of marijuana and it’s also the name of his Mixtape with Future.
This DJ Esco Galaxy vape pen is glossy and black with a gold mouthpiece, and the 56 Nights logo on the bottom of the battery. It has the same 650mAh battery with 3 settings as the regular Kandypens Galaxy, it’s also the same size at 14mm wide.
The KandyPens Prism is just 10.5cm tall – one of the smallest vape pens around! And that’s including the mouthpiece! The diameter of this vape pen is the standard 14mm. The stainless steel black is definitely an upgrade, design – wise. Devoid of the KandyPens brand logos, this model has the Prism logo only, which is a simple geometric prism and the word in all caps. We like the simple, sophisticated design, much better than the DJ Esco Galaxy!
The Prism vape pen battery has four temperature settings. However, it’s only 320mAh, which is almost half the capacity of previous models! The Prism is 510 threaded, and uses micro-USB charging and Apple iPhone lightning, which is cool. Overall, you get a trade off with the battery. It’s half the capacity of others, but it looks slicker and it’s easier to charge.
KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism Atomizers
The Kandypens Galaxy DJ Esco Edition comes with two double coil quartz atomizers. The quartz chamber has 4 raised airflow holes near the top of the cup, to prevent wax rom leaking out when the chamber is full. There are two 1mm air vents on each the side of the vent.
The KandyPens Prism comes with two different atomizers. One double coil quartz atomizer, and one ceramic plate atomizer come in the kit. There are four 1mm air vents on the outsize of each atomizer. Unlike previous models, the quartz atomizer uses a ceramic cup around the quartz rods. So, it’s not a fully quartz atomizer, but the coil is a vast improvement over previous models. However, the Prism appears to use a titanium alloy, with what appears to be weld marks. This may or may not be solder.
The KandyPens Galaxy atomizers also use glue, so called “leak proof technology.” Below we discuss this further and you can see a picture of the glue.
Ease of Use: Identical
The KandyPens DJ Esco Galaxy and the Prism are equally easy to use. For both, turn on battery by pressing 5 times, and change temperature settings by pressing 3 times.
Strength: Softer Quality Prism vs Strong Burning Galaxy
The DJ Esco 56 Night Galaxy lights up fast and becomes red-hot. This gives you big clouds, but will quickly burn your wax. The results are very strong hits, but ruins any flavor in the wax.
Because of the better-quality coil used, even at its highest setting the Prism is not as strong as other models. It doesn’t burn red hot like a thin gauge coil, which is what happens with lower quality metal. While other models are “stronger”, the strength delivers a bad experience due to the bad quality coil. So even though the KandyPens Galaxy is stronger, the Prism still wins here.
KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism Glue Content: The Prism is Safe!
After finding glue in the KandyPens Elite, KandyPens admitted that their original advertising of “No Wicks, Glues, or Dyes” was false and changed it to remove “no glue”. So, do you think the KandyPens DJ Esco 56 Nights Galaxy has glue? Unfortunately, Yes it does.
Both atomizers of DJ Esco’s 56 Nights have the same epoxy glue from the KandyPens Elite. It’s underneath the quartz cup and closes the holes the coils pass through to connect to the battery. The glue completely envelops the coils, meaning hot coils touch the glue when in use.
The Prism however, does NOT appear to have glue! The Prism is now the only model that says “No Glues, Wicks, or Dyes” in the online product description. Yay! Previous models (including DJ Esco Galaxy) are only described as having “No Wicks or Dyes”.
This KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism glue content comparison just shows us that a more expensive vape pen, doesn’t guarantee a better quality product.
Efficiency: Galaxy is Only Efficient Because of Glue
The DJ Esco Galaxy double coil rods are close together and very low in the chamber. This makes it more efficient in preserving wax. Sadly, the glue is helping the ‘efficiency’ of this vape pen. The glue works at preventing leaks, but this is not a good (or healthy) solution.
The Prism is very efficient. The compact design of the double coiled quartz atomizer makes it easy to place your wax right on top. The ceramic cup unfortunately means that some wax gets stuck on the walls. Overall though, it’s as efficient, if not a bit better.
Versatility / Atomizer Options: Fairly Even
While the Kandypens Galaxy DJ Esco only comes with quartz double coil atomizers, it’s eGo-510 threaded (not 510 threaded like the website says) so you can also use coil-less Donuts, coil-less Gravity/Elite, and the quartz double coil Galaxy Tornado with variable airflow. However, not being able to use a mod battery with an adapter on the same attachment counts against versatility for the DJ Esco Galaxy.
The KandyPens Prism comes with a Ceramic plate and a quartz double coil atomizer. This vape pen doesn’t work with the Elite, Galaxy, Gravity or Donuts because it’s 510 threaded (instead of eGo). It does however, work with the mini atomizers, the Pearl, and surprisingly – the Prism+ atomizers.
Portability: Both Great, But Prism is Smaller!
The DJ Esco version of the Kandypens Galaxy is just as portable as the original and the Kandypens Elite. The included 56 Nights travel case makes it easy to throw in your bag and go. It’s compact and will fit easily in your pocket.
As the Prism is one of the smallest vape pens around, (just over 4 inches in length) this vape pen stands out in KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism portability! You can toss it in your pocket and just forget it. It can also fit in your shirt pocket or the inside pocket of a small bag.
Discretion of KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism:Galaxy Lights Are Not Subtle! Prism A+
The dimensions of the KandyPens Galaxy 56 Nights make it a good size for a discreet hit. However, the built-in K with a light at the bottom makes it horrible to use discreetly, especially during dark hours. The light, which is sure to draw attention, is very bright and cannot be turned off. It feels like you’re broadcasting your smoking activity to the world.
The discretion of the KandyPens Prism is an improvement over previous models like the Galaxy. Mainly due to axing the annoying light at the bottom of the battery. Thanks to its small size, you can enclose the KandyPens Prism fully in the palm of your hand. This allows you to puff on the go without calling attention to yourself! This thing is stealthy and compact, perfect for days on the move.
Taste: Galaxy Burns Wax / Prism Preserves Flavor
Taste is not what the KandyPens Galaxy vape pen was designed for – as can be seen from the cheap coil metal and the glue used underneath. These cheap coils get so hot that they burn your wax and leave users with the dreaded “vape pen taste.” Whether or not the glue melts during use and adds to the bad taste, headaches experienced were similar to other cheap quality vape pens.
KandyPens Prism vape pen on the other hand, scored incredibly over its counterpart in the KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism taste category. This is a huge improvement, thanks to finally using a quality coil. The Ceramic Plate also retains great flavor.
Value: Both Expensive, But Prism is Cheaper, Includes More & is Better Quality
KandyPens Galaxy “56 Nights” DJ Esco Edition includes 2 double coil atomizers, 1 dabber, a charger, and a limited edition case.
As KandyPens offers Lifetime Warranty, you’re guaranteed a working battery no matter what. The problem is, that battery is a generic 3-voltage 650mah battery that comes in a $10 eCig starter pack. At $149.95, there’s no way to justify this price! And, let’s also not forget that both atomizers include the use of glue (touching hot coils) underneath…
This is not a good deal compared to the regular black Kandypens Galaxy. This model is basically the same thing with one extra atomizer, a ‘56 Nights’ logo and a case. In reality, you pay $50 more for another $20 atomizer.
At $97.99 the Prism is one of the pricier models by KandyPens – but still not as pricey as the less advanced DJ Esco Galaxy! The Prism kit includes two atomizers, one double coiled quartz and one coil-less ceramic plate. You also get an extra glass mouthpiece, a charging cable and a keychain scoop tool.
The Prism is expensive at almost $100, but it’s a huge improvement over old models. Prices for KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism are strange, how is the Prism cheaper than the DJ Esco Galaxy?! The battery is only 320mah in comparison to 650mah, but you’re getting a unique charging ability with the addition of the iPhone lightening cable. So that value trade off goes either way!
Replacements: Both $20+, But Prism Much Better Quality
Replacements for the DJ Esco Galaxy are almost $20 a pop! For a cheap “mystery” coil with glue underneath, we do not approve.
Both the KandyPens Prism atomizers are $24.95 each. However, the quartz double coil finally uses a coil that’s worth it! The ceramic plate is similarly priced to other coil-less atomizers, like the Puffco Plus (which is also $24.95). They’re not cheap, but definitely better value as it has a sealed floor.
Unless you buy these products in a store, you’re looking to pay a minimum of $9.95 for each KandyPens order.
Conclusion: Team Prism!
The DJ Esco “56 Nights” edition of this vape pen is materially the exact same as the regular KandyPens Galaxy. The regular Galaxy retails for $99.95, so what precisely does the $49.95 extra get you? One more double coil quartz atomizer and the DJ Esco logo… When you factor in that a replacement atomizer is $19.95 for the DJ Esco edition, you’re paying almost $30 to look at the logo!
The Prism on the other hand is pretty decent! KandyPens finally delivered a great vape pen! It’s slick, discreet and portable. You do sacrifice power capacity for portability, but the trade-off may be worth it for the ease of use and handy size. Charging is easy as you have both micro USB and Apple lightening connections. The Prism finally uses a decent coil, however replacements aren’t cheap.
The Kandypens Galaxy DJ Esco Edition charges almost $150 for a vape pen with 2 atomizers with cheap coils and glue. The flavor delivery was awful. The efficiency only scores well due to glue, which is a fail in itself. I would not recommend this vape.
KandyPens has fixed the efficiency issues of previous models, like the DJ Esco 56 Nights Galaxy. We have to say – the Prism is an awesome on-the-go companion! And, it doesn’t give you the immediate headache or “vape pen taste” that you can get from the DJ Esco vape pen.
At almost $50 cheaper, the Prism includes more items, doesn’t have glue, and provides a way better taste. So guys, after the KandyPens Galaxy vs Prism comparison, the Prism is definitely our favorite! However, there are still much better vape pens than the Prism out there as well (Omicron v5 comes to mind).
The Rokin Nitro is pretty much your standard double coil vape pen. However, what it has an edge on is taste. It tastes much better than many vapes that are out there today.
Edit 09/17/2017: Rokin has reached out to us and stated that what I believed to be solder was actually just a slight variation on the coil. We will get a further breakdown of the coil and update you on this.
Edit 09/23/2017: Rokin sent us additional atomizers to break down for testing and we believed they had solder on them, but it turns out they do now.
Edit 09/25/2017: Rokin confirmed with supplier that it is the actual wire melted in the process, which is much better than solder. We have asked a few more details regarding the wire content and will update accordingly.
The Rokin Nitro Vape Pen Review
Design & Quality
Rokin tries to throw in a lot of jargon about FCC standards (why? Is there a radio there somewhere?) focus groups etc. Bottom line is, the Rokin Nitro is a solid reliable average vape pen. Take the look of a Puffco Pro 1 or the KandyPens Elite, add some decent titanium alloy coils, and you have the Rokin Nitro.
At least the Vapir Pen had a new unique look, but basically the Rokin is a better no-frills version of the Kandypens Elite. And that’s good! If they ‘d add a carb then this would be perfect.
The Rokin Nitro comes with 2 quartz double coil atomizers, a nice long dab tool, a good quality concentrate container with a divider, and charger. The coil they use is a decent looking thin coil that looks and tastes similar to the Vapir Pen. You don’t get any of that “vape pen” metal taste that some of the cheaper vape pens have.
The chamber is also deep enough you won’t easily flood and overflow.
The battery has 3 temperature settings: Green for Low, Blue for Medium, and Red for High. It follows the standard 3 clicks to change and 5 to turn off and on. The Rokin Nitro does continue the annoying trend of a light at the bottom of the battery, but you learn to deal with it.
Ease Of Use: Rokin Nitro is Pretty Standard
Just like every other simple vape pen, turn one, pop in your stuff, power, inhale, and exhale.
The screwing on and off can be a bit tedious on the attachment, but overall pretty easy.
Strength: Not Toasting Wax, But Good
The Rokin Nitro is pretty strong, but because it uses a better tasting coil it doesn’t burn your wax as hot as vape pens. We got huge hits on the ThisThisRips OG Four 2.0 Rig Edition, but it was just toasting the wax.
Efficiency
The Rokin Nitro is as efficient with coils as a vape pen can be. It’s deep enough that if you have very unstable materials, it will get stuck on the walls. The coils are very tight together and hard to miss, but you’ll still get some wax on the sides.
Versatility/Atomizer Options
It is eGo 510 though so you can pop in an atomizer from a competing company if you want. This gives it great versatility.
Rokin Nitro Atomizers
The Rokin Nitro works with its included double coil quartz atomizer, the only atomizer they offer.
The Nitro atomizer is wrapped neatly and fairly evenly. A closer look reveals what we initially thought to be solder, which is very common on cheap vape pens. However, Rokin has stated this is a melting point where the titanium alloy wire is connected to another wire.
The bump you see in the metal we thought was a solder point. We have updated the review to reflect that it is not solder, but a heated point in the material. This does however bring into question how much titanium is in the wire. We have asked them for more specific details on this. Rokin has stated the points we believed to be solder are in fact points and which part of the coil is melted into another wire. In their words,
“Our manufacturer uses a process that electrically melts the titanium coiled wire to straight wire portion of the wire. No solder at all is used on any of our atomizers. Also, this is an improved technique from even crimping, allowing a more robust connection.”
This does appear that in fact two types of wire are used. Rokin said no testing of the actual wire types was available. However, vapes that use higher grade titanium usually are powered directly from the same wire, not another wire in there. Whether this is an advancement or not on the Rokin, we are unsure, but they said this is more effective than crimping.
Portability
The Rokin Nitro is 12cm wide and a little over 9 inches tall. Same size as every other pen, so you can pop it in your pocket and you’re cool.
Discretion
Portability and quick warm up with coils makes it easy to sneak in a toke. That horrible red light at the bottom makes it annoying to be discreet in the dark, so cover it up.
Taste is Good On the Nitro
For a titanium alloy coil vape pen, the Nitro has great taste. Even at it’s highest, the Nitro really shines. While some other more expensive vape pens burn the material and give a nasty taste, the Rokin Nitro keeps flavor all the way through.
Value
At $69.95 the Nitro is better than some of the competitors’ vape pens that cost more than twice as much., like the KandyPens Elite. The Nitro is easy to use and straight to the point. It comes with 2 double coil atomizers, so you’re probably set for a couple months. The gold version is $79.95 if you want that shiny look. However, the other colors are $69.96 which is a better value.
The fact is though many vape pens out there are just overpriced. This pen features a standard eGo threaded eCig battery and a coil that is most likely not straight titanium, but an alloy. Take the fancy finish off the battery, and it’s specs are similar to most eCig batteries.
Since there is most likely not a higher quality titanium wire, you can pretty much guarantee this is not any type of specialty battery, as some may know the higher grade titanium wires require a mod battery, just like their eCig counterparts.
Replacements
Replacements sell at a decent price point, only $14.95 for the double coils. It includes the top mouthpiece too, not just the atomizer.
You get a better deal if you sign up for their subscription service. It offers 3 atomizer for $30, or each atomizer for just a straight $10. You can select either 3 or 6 months, so you can either use one a month or every 2 months.
Concluding The Rokin Nitro Review
The Nitro looks like a lot of other vape pens, but it does hit and taste a lot better than many of them. It has a soso price, great taste, and fair replacement costs. Would I buy it? Maybe, but there are pens that have higher grade materials and bigger batteries for around the same price or not that much more. For someone that wants a basic pen here.
Brass Knuckles vape pens prefilled THC cartridges could use some improvements. We have now tested Brass Knuckles vapes in two states and over multiple cartridges. The hardware is dated and needs an upgrade. Learn why this has become a cartridge we are not a big fan of in this in-depth Brass Knuckles vape review.
UPDATES
UPDATE August 9, 2017: Based on testing performed by @clean_meds_cali, Brass Knuckles may contain some toxic materials. See report picture below.
UPDATE February 25, 2018: Recent results for Brass Knuckles products show them as clean. See results at SC Labs.
UPDATE October 12, 2018: Information on Brass Knuckles updates on new cartridges and comparison to other currently popular brands in beginning of review. Information related to other Brass Knuckles issues including lawsuits are added at the end of the review. This review covers almost two years of Brass Knuckles use. Updates by Bert Blaze.
UPDATE May 11, 2019: Brass Knuckles oil is put into better hardware and we test it out.
At this time in 2019, Brass Knuckles has had a lot of issues. They have consistently failed pesticides tests. See our vape cartridge pesticides test page for the most up to date information on Brass Knuckles vape pen carts and other brands. They are currently being sued as are their promoters. It has been a tough year for Brass Knuckles. They also are no where near close to the best vape pen cartridge anymore.
Recently Brass Knuckles has posted up clean results, such as the one pictured below for their Banana OG strain.
We find it interesting that they have switched labs. SC Labs is also named in one of the Brass Knuckles lawsuits which is discussed further below at the end of this review.
We recently reviewed the Napalm OG cartridge and found it to be underwhelming, but it was from a Nevada dispensary and so it is very likely that came out clean.
Many vape cartridges are now better than Brass Knuckles
There are now hundreds of THC vape cartridge brands out there. Many of these cartridges are better than Brass Knuckles. To keep it easy, here are some of the more well known brands that are common to be found in the same areas as Brass Knuckles, but are better: Select Oil, Justdab, Kabunky, and W Vapes. This list could go on and on. Brass Knuckles just cannot live up to the other fire that is now out there. The point is Brass Knuckles advertises a lot but does not deliver on quality.
Design Quality of Brass Knuckles Vape Pen
The packaging is very nice, its nicer than any other I’ve seen. Brass Knuckle’s offers top of the line quality. The mouthpiece was designed to allow the perfect amount of air flow for a very pleasant hit and major clouds. Compared to other traditional mouthpieces this one seems to have better airflow. The Brass Knuckles vape pen logo on the mouth piece looks great, but it might take away from discretion. You get pure flavor with these cartridges. I learned during this Brass Knuckles vape pen review that this company does in fact focus on creating a better product than any other on the market. This cart did have its flaws which we will go through below.
Bert: We can not say that Brass Knuckles is of that high quality anymore. They use an old style cartridge and CCELL currently blows it out of the water, especially when paired with a CCELL Palm. Other systems like the ALD vFire used on the Plug and Play vape and the Stiiizy Pen are also better. They both use the same heating element. Brass Knuckles is stuck in the past with their cartridge technology. They could use an update or go to CCELL like many other manufacturers have.
Trying out Brass Knuckles vape oil in CCELL hardware
Convinced Brass Knuckles had poor quality hardware and having the Napalm OG cartridge fail on me, I wanted to try the oil in a CCELL TH2 cart. Check out the video below.
Ease of Use on the Brass Knuckles Vape Pen
Throw on standard 510 threaded battery and it’s ready to go. Open the Brass Knuckles vape pen package and screw on the cart to get started, that’s it. I am hitting this with a variable voltage battery that allows me to go as high as 4.7 volts. I am using this cart at 3.0 volts for smooth refreshing big clouds. These carts can go as high as 5 volts. Go too high and you might burn it out! Be careful if you are running these on a mod battery. Make sure you have the correct settings.
Bert: Brass Knuckles is still easy to use.
Strength – Brass Knuckles Is Not as Potent As Others
As of right now, these are some of the strongest prefilled cartridges available with a minimum of 80 percent THC. These feel more potent than other prefilled cartridges that claim they are 80.00% THC content. Jack Herer turned out to be the strongest among the three strains I tried in my personal experience. I purchased Jack Herer twice thats how much I enjoyed this strain.
Bert: Brass Knuckles is no where near the strongest anymore. Even on their own tests as shown above THC is at 68%. Select Oil’s Casino Kush is 91% and they have another vape cart that is 94%. The hardware in the Stiiizy, Plug and Play, and any new generation CCELL cartridge also will make a comparable oil hit harder than the Brass Knuckles cartridges with their mediocre oil.
Efficiency – Some Failures Before, But Now More Reliable
Malfunction
I had 1 of the 4 carts malfunction, so Brass knuckles vape pens are not perfect. It started crackling and sizzling and gave me the most bitter burnt taste. The dispensaryI purchased this cart from gave me a free replacement right away. Even after one of these carts not working correctly I can still highly recommend these after going through three different strains.
Bert: There are a lot less malfunctions than before with these carts and with other brands. In the past couple years vape cartridge reliability has improved substantially.
Lots of Hits, Some Stickiness
I can say with confidences that each 1 gram of Brass Knuckle will give you a minimum of 200 hits. I always took big hits from the beginning to the end which is why I highly recommend this cart for its consistency. Oil stuck to the top of one of the prefilled cartridges and I could not vape it. This might have been a bad batch. I had to put a lighter underneath the stuck oil to melt it down. Other prefilled carts more consistently had this problem compared to the Brass Knuckles vape pens. One-third isn’t too bad, nothing major to be upset about but just a little inconvenient. One critical discovery in this Brass Knuckles vape pen review is it’s easier to vape every last drop of concentrate, while others made it difficult and even wasted a lot. I did not get as much of a crap taste towards the end of this prefill cartridge either.
Bert: Other cartridges get more hits now. The ones that get less hits like CCELL or Stiiizy hit a lot harder so it is worth it to get less out of it.
Portability
Very sleek and small makes this cart is easy to take with you anywhere. The packaging it comes with makes it easy to travel with in case you need to store it away for later. Portability here is also going to tie into what battery you use. Use a mod battery and it’s a little less portable. Use a small 510 battery and its ultra portable.
Bert: Portability remains the same. Still easy to get these vape carts around.
Taste
The taste is very flavorful and enjoyable. There is a hint of artificial flavoring, but the flavor of the strain is also noticeable. My absolute favorite is the Grape Ape! If you like the taste of sweet grape kool-aid, then the Grape Ape Brass Knuckles vape pen prefilled cartridge will be your next favorite vape. I approve of their almost perfect cocktail of THC with added natural terpenes. It has a more pleasant taste than every other prefilled cart I’ve tried. I have yet to try the Moxie cartridges, but have heard those have excellent taste as well.
Bert: The THC carts from Brass Knuckles still shine on taste for the most part. Whoever is handling the terpenes is doing a great job. We need that same effort on the rest of the vape pen cartridge. Taste issues with Brass Knuckles can arise if the cart gets burned though.
Brass Knuckles Strains
Brass Knuckles vape cartridges now come in a wide variety of strains, each with a different taste. Below are all the Brass Knuckles vape pen cart strains. We have sorted them into Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid.
Brass Knuckles is coming out with new strains here and there, so look for updates on that.
Value: Just Not There
I paid $55.00 each for a gram of Jack Herer, Girl Scout Cookies, and Grape Ape from my local dispensary in California. All the cartridges lasted me five days and provided over 200 hits each. That’s only eleven dollars a day to stay medicated all day and night. I praise the Brass Knuckles for making a great tasting a product that is more economical and very high quality than their competitors.
Bert: Brass Knuckles is no longer a good value. I would rather buy a half gram of select and pay almost the same price as a full gram of Brass Knuckles.
Current Brass Knuckles Issues: Fakes and Lawsuits
The main issue we have with Brass Knuckles is continuously deceiving customers that they had clean products. We hope now that the cartridges they are producing are clean, but it is hard to trust a company that has lied so many times. The lab testing industry in California is not really reliable. We might trust a BK cart in Nevada where there is strict batch testing, but why go with an untrusted brand when there are so many better ones already out there?
Fake Brass Knuckles vape cartridges are everywhere
We did an extensive post on fake Brass Knuckles. The company does not post an authorized retailer list. They post their own less informative guide on how to spot fakes, but really what we need is a list of authorized retailers. Take a look below at the fakes made by Summer Vapor.
The Summer Vapor fakes are easy to spot because there is no strain information on the bottom. That’s great for the easy to spot Brass Knuckles fake cartridges.
The above fakes are from Shenzhen eBoat. They are very convincing. In fact, if you relied on Brass Knuckles’ own guide those would pass for real. If they really cared about their customers, Brass Knuckles
Nevada residents are probably safe due to strict batch testing, but California is a lot more people. If Brass Knuckles cared about consumers they would get a better grip on these fakes by making a comprehensive, updated list authorized retailers. Plain and simple.
Brass Knuckles Lawsuits: Yes, There Is More Than One
The Class Action Lawsuit: Ignacio Lee vs. Brass Knuckles
Many people search for Brass Knuckles lawsuit, but there is actually a big class action lawsuit going on. The first reported legal issue was the lawsuit filed by Ignacio Lee. He claims he got sick from the pesticides that were present in Brass Knuckles vape pen cartridges. The particular strains he complained about were Candy Apple and Sour Diesel.
The Brass Knuckles company, which has been linked to Jeannie Herer was sued in this case as well as Xzibit himself. His real name is Alvin Nathaniel Joiner. As spokesman for the company, he responded to the lawsuit’s claims via his Instagram account, stating: “Our oil is clean” in one post and in another that the product is “COMPLETELY pesticide AND contaminate FREE.”
SC Labs also included in the lawsuit
SC Labs is included in this one to make it more interesting. They were including the stickers on Brass Knuckles cartridges that were sold. The company claims that the dirty cartridges are fakes. SC Labs is included in the suit. Their stickers are on the cartridge. Makes the fake oil claim hard to believe. I do not trust them either anymore. Steep Hill is the lab used by Plaintiffs in that case that showed the vape carts as dirty.
If you are familiar with their testing stickers, you can look up the batch online (unless the company blocks it from being public). Making fakes would be difficult considering these unique identification codes are linked to certain batches.
I have never seen a fake Brass Knuckles vape pen cartridge ever have an SC Labs sticker on it. Someone would have to go to extraordinary lengths to make that all match up. They are not adding them in China.
First, I should state as of May, 2018, that Brass Knuckles claims they are now 100% compliant due to California’s new testing requirements. Second, Xzibit was probably wrong when he made his clean oil statements, but it may not have been intentional. I doubt he has much to do with the manufacturing process. California’s testing requirements are not getting implemented like they are supposed to even now in 2018.
Just like Heavy Hitters testing dirty just recently. They used the same claim that Brass Knuckles now uses to say their oil is clean. It might be, but how can we trust them after so many issues? In their defense, fake Heavy Hitters is a problem too.
Overall: I Would No Longer Recommend a Brass Knuckles Vape Pen
The improved features this prefilled cart has over others had me extremely satisfied. Xzibit, the founder of this product, has stated on the Youtube channel Between Two Strains, “Everything that we disliked about all the other carts on the market we improved on and put it into Brass Knuckles.” This statement is accurate which I learned after trying this out for myself. I highly encourage others to try this cart out as will. Brass Knuckles does indeed solve many of the problems of previous carts from other companies.
Bert: There are better cartridge brands with more reliable reputations. They also produce stronger oil in better hardware. Don’t buy into the hype on Brass Knuckles vape pen cartridges.
Bumblebee Vape Pen Review: This disposable vape pen is not able to deliver huge clouds but compensates for it with hit potency.
Design Quality
This disposable vape pen is durable. I dropped it a few times and it still worked great. It’s made with a thin steel that is wrapped around with a sticker of the Bumblebee brand. The concentrate is spread onto cotton that is wrapped around wicks on the inside. There is an orange LED light that turns on when taking a hit which looks cool at night.
Ease of Use
The Bumblebee disposable wax pen is incredibly straightforward and ideal for anyone just getting started. You only need to open the package to start using. When you’re taking a hit the maximum amount of time before it cuts off is 8 seconds. It works with a standard eCig style battery.
Strength
Unfortunately your not going to get huge clouds from this disposable vape pen, however as I mentioned earlier each hit is quite potent. The average strength of THC is about 50% for these disposable wax pens. They may not be the strongest available on the market, but they are good enough for most heavy users. After about three hits I am feeling the same as if I was to take a dab.
Efficiency
Unfortunately, the quality of each Bumblee disposable vape pen is not the same. I tried the Granddaddy purple strain and counted 55 total full hits until it emptied, meanwhile when I tried the Cherry Kola strain it gave me almost double the number of hits at 92. This may be due to the use of the cotton style atomizer. A tank style atomizer would have been more efficient here. Also, I was quite upset when I discovered the hits at the beginning were not consistent and became weaker towards the last 25% of remaining hits. I was disappointed to discover there was a lot of extract remaining on the cotton inside when I opened the vape pen. When the battery dies, there is no way to recharge it to finish the rest of your concentrate. If you have a rechargeable battery you can probably get around this.
Portability
One of my favorite things about the bumblebee disposable vape pen is how unnoticeable it is while traveling. The bumblebee disposable vape pen is very sleek. It’s nearly the same size as a cigarette and weighs about the same as a lighter.
Its design is very convenient and will not take up much room in your pocket.
Taste
The concentrate is mixed with vegetable glyverin and terpenoids from natural sources which are noticeable right when you take a puff. I have been smoking the strain Granddaddy purple for over ten years, and I did not experience the same flavor from the bumblebee disposable vape pen that I get directly from the strain. However the taste is not bad, it has an artificial flavor taste which reminded me of medicine. It’s when you get to the very end when the taste becomes less desirable with a hint of bitterness. The Cherry Kola flavor just had a hint of Cherry Kola taste however it also had the same similar medicine taste as the GDP.
Value
I purchased a full gram from my local dispensary for $35.00. I vape frequently throughout the day and this lasted me three days. This affordable disposable wax pen is perfect for anyone on a budget who needs to medicate on extracts and does not own a dab rig or 510 battery. I recommend buying a cheap rechargeable 510 battery on eBay for $7.00 so you can use pre-filled cartridges. The 10cig by SOURCEvapes also works with these prefills and is the same style of battery, but rechargeable and includes two atomizers for $10. Buying clear carts will allow you to see you’re not wasting any product. I purchased a half a gram of Cypher extracts for the same price and it lasted longer than the Bumblebee disposable vape pen.
Overall
It’s not the best disposable vape pen out there, but it’s good as an affordable one. It will get the job done. My favorite thing among everything in this Bumblebee vape pen review is the convenience. It’s great not having to worry about refilling or cleaning a dirty atomizer for three days. Unfortunately, I will not be buying these again, only because they are not consistent with how many hits I experienced with two different flavors. The problem is the batteries are not all equally charged and once the battery dies there is no way to recharge it to finish all of the remaining extract which becomes a waste. I do not recommend these unless you find yourself in a position where you do not have a dab rig or 510 battery and just need an affordable way to get the same experience as a dab.
Dipstick Dipper Review: Great Vape Pen; OK Nectar Collector
The Dipstick Dipper is Dipstick Vapes newest 2.0 model taking over for the original Dipstick they released in 2016. It’s an improvement in every way according to them over the trendsetting design. It adds the ability to be used as a vape pen. Will Dipstick 2.0 take the vape pen market by storm?
Design & Quality
The Dipper’s quality compared to the original Dipstick 1.0 is miles ahead of its groundbreaking model from last year. The obvious upgrade from last year is the addition of using it as a vape pen. The best way to describe the look of Dipstick Vapes Dipper is like a huge micro vape pen. Similar to a Micro G or a CloudV.
The Dipstick Dipper has two modes: Vape Pen-style and Nectar Collector-style. Use the included quartz double coil atomizer to use it as a vape pen or unscrew the double coil atomizer and replace it with the vapor tip, place the mouthpiece on the bottom, and use as a Nectar Collector. There is a large open-air path 5mm in diameter that travels through the left side of the battery. This either supplies vapor to the mouthpiece using it as a Nectar Collector or air flow to the atomizer as a vape pen. This is actually very useful. Now you can cover it and release when in vape pen-mode to make it act like a huge air carb.
The look is sleek and feels solid, though it has its flaws. The first is the reclaim chamber cover. It’s held on securely by the atomizer. This means that every time you remove the atomizer, the thing falls off. We know its removable so you can easily clean the air path, but they could have easily made it so it secures independently in place. In regards to cleaning, this is a breeze with the easy to reach air path. Just use a long cotton swab.
Charging is a breeze with a side loading micro USB port.
The most important part of a vape pen though, is the atomizer. It’s sad when such a well made vape completely drops the ball on this matter. The vapor tip is an inch long ceramic hollow rod that sticks straight up and at the tip has what appears to be Kanthal coil that coils around the inside of the ceramic walls. The ceramic is also fragile. One of ours had the tip crack off when dropped once on a plastic surface.
The quartz double coil atomizer has a very deep chamber for easy loading. It does hold more than most other vape pens. The atomizer’s Kanthal coil leaves a lot to be desired on taste. Titanium is almost expected in 2017.
Ease of Use
As a Nectar Collector:
The Dipstick Dipper works easily enough. You screw in the vapor tip, place the mouthpiece on the bottom, select your heat setting, power it on, then place the vapor tip on the wax and inhale. The problem is the actual vapor tip. Because the coil is on the inside, the best way to vape wax is straight down. If you go in at an angle, the wax touches the outside of the ceramic rod, and just sticks or bubbles over and drips down.
As a Vape Pen:
This is where it excels. Funnily enough the Dipper is a much better vape pen than nectar collector. Screw the included double coil atomizer, put the mouthpiece on the top over the atomizer, set your desired heat setting, power on, inhale. Now you got a powerful vape pen. The bottom airflow also has the added bonus that you can block and unblock as an air carb for bigger hits.
Herein lies the problem with Dipstick Dipper. Almost every time I used it as a nectar collector, it was more of a chore to review it. I continuously kept turning it back to its vape pen mode because it’s just more of a hassle to use a Nectar Collector. Especially given how well it works a vape pen. The 3 heat settings on the Nectar Collector’s short coiled vapor tip basically gives you the option of Hot, Red Hot, and Lava. Then you have to angle it just right. Make sure you’re using a glass container (not included!) because it’s hot… but it’s just too much hassle. In vape pen mode, the 3 settings give you a nice range of Low, Medium, and High (Blue, Green, Red). On Green you can sip away nicely on a pea-sized ball of wax for a minute.
When it works so good as a vape pen, its main function, seems like a gimmick.
Strength
The Dipper vape is strong hits, but nothing lung clenching strong with in nectar collector-mode, even at its highest setting. As a vape pen, you noticeably harder and bigger hits when you use the air carb below, but even at highest setting, you’re never clenching for dear life back from the abyss.
Efficiency
The quartz double coil amazingly had no leaking from the atomizer at all. The coils are low enough that almost all wax below is also vaporized. The long slim atomizer design means you can easily fill your wax on to the coils easily.
The vapor tip though in nectar collector mode, is sadly, not as efficient. The aforementioned inside coil means that if you don’t hit straight down unto the coil, wax is going to get on sides of the ceramic and just stay there or drip down. You’re thinking, “go in at an angle and scoop up the wax into the coil,” which works, but then there is wax that gets stuck on the inside of the ceramic walls. It leaves you feeling that some of the wax is wasted.
Versatility / Atomizer Options
The Dipstick Dipper’s versatility sets it apart, basically because no other vape pen allows you to use it as a nectar collector. The problem is: “Jack of All Trades, Master of None.”
As a vape pen, it only has 1 atomizer, a quartz double coil kanthal atomizer. As a Nectar Collector, it has its vapor tip. They need to release some coil-less vape pen atomizers and titanium coiled atomizers, and release a better vapor tip that works better and doesn’t use that cheap of a coil.
Portability
The Dipper’s oval shape means it smoothly fits in your pocket without looking bulky or being an eyesore. It’s too big to hide in your hand but at only 5.5 inches; it fits snug in the palm of your hand.
Discretion
Discretion with the Dipper’s vape pen mode is great except for the clouds you release. You’ll be left explaining that it if someone ever sees it due to its unique design, but you can easily pass it off as a fancy eCig or a huge Juul.
Just don’t use the Nectar Collector in public or you’ll raise more than a few eyebrows.
Taste
As with almost every category, Dipstick’s Dipper best flavor comes from the quartz double coil atomizer. In nectar collector mode, the vapor tip’s coil gives you the harshest taste, smells like metal when you heat it up, and in general just has a horrible taste reminiscent of 2012 wax pens.
The quartz double coil atomizer gives you good flavor on Green and Blue settings, but make sure to “waste” the last past of the wax near the coil, because it tastes burnt.
Value
The Dipstick Dipper is the most expensive nectar collector-style vape pen at $149.99, but also the only one to work as vape pen, too. It comes included with 2 vapor tips, 1 quartz double coil atomizer, a loading tool, cleaning swabs, and micro USB cable. When you consider the atomizers only cost about $25 retail , you’re paying about $125 for the model. Still way too much for a product you’ll be mostly using as a vape pen.
Replacement Costs
Replacements for the Dipstick Dipper atomizers are dirt cheap compared to other vape pens, in fact a replacement mouthpiece costs more at $14.95 than any single atomizer.
Quartz double coil atomizers range from $9.99 each as low as $8.33 each in a pack of 3, while the vapor tip comes either as a pair for $14.99 or 5 for $29.99, a little under $6 each.
Dipstick Dipper vs Boundless CF 710
The Boundless CF 710 is considerably stronger hitting than the Dipstick Dipper. The Dipper has the option to be used as a vape pen, which adds to discretion. See our CF 710 review for more info.
Overall
The Dipstick Dipper is a much better vape pen than nectar collector. However, at this price and with the coil types offered, it leaves a lot to be desired for taste and value.
A whopping 1.3 billion people use tobacco worldwide. Statistics show that 70% of that number desire or attempt to quit.
In the last decade, the use of vapes has increased rapidly. Over 82 million people now use vaping as a safer alternative to smoking. Though a good proportion routinely vapes for recreation, smoking cessation remains the principal reason people vape. Vaping has gone from being a fad to a mainstream culture that is here to stay.
Little wonder, the vape industry’s market heads to $40 billion by 2023 and $61 billion by 2025. Getting a piece of the burgeoning vape industry pie while helping a pool of smokers quit their habits sounds like a perfect business idea with excellent revenue potential. Tapping from the years of experience of established vape shops like Provape, and the economic principle of demand, opening a vape shop can be a profitable opportunity to explore for business-minded people. Here is a guide for entrepreneurs to get everything right when starting a vape shop.
Create a Comprehensive Business Plan
For any business, a plan serves as a guide to achieving your business goals, including how to go about it, getting funding, and staying on track. Every entrepreneur knows a solid business plan is a no-brainer when starting a new business. It is even more so for the vaping industry, which is relatively new. Besides the obvious, like choosing a business name, structures, branding, and funding, writing a perfect business plan for your vape shop needs extra effort and research.
Regulations can be tricky
The vaping industry is highly controversial, and regulations can be tricky. Sometimes, taxes for this industry can be on the high side and weigh heavily on a startup business on a budget. Learning about different rules and taxes levied by local, state, and the federal government needs to be a priority when writing your business plan.
Your business plan should be detailed enough to enumerate these challenges and the steps to overcome them. Some vape stores already have the early bird advantage. It is wise to properly gauge your competition and determine the demand in your proposed location.
Obtain Relevant Local, State, and Federal Licenses
Registering your vape business is the first logical step. The procedure and cost of securing business licenses and permits vary from place to place. Whether selling in a physical store or online, authorities categorize vape stores as tobacco product retailers. Therefore, many regulators require vape stores to obtain the same permits and pay the same taxes as tobacco retailers.
Since the federal regulations concerning vaping are more publicized, you must first familiarize yourself with regulations at the local and state levels. Some states tax vaping stores, while others do not have a tax policy for these businesses, or at least yet. Like other adult-related stores, age regulation is another critical point, requiring that your business set a policy to handle age-restrictions. Flaunting the age policy rules and selling to minors often comes with heavy sanctions or fines you instead wish to avoid.
There is no running away from different laws and regulations regarding vaping in your business host community. Some states, cities, or towns prohibit establishing a tobacco or e-cigarette store within a specified distance from public services, religious centers, or schools. Good knowledge of all this information aids you in setting up a proper tax, age policy, and an appropriate location for your vape store.
Secure an Appropriate Location for a Vape Store
Location plays a crucial role in the success of any physical-based store. If you plan to sell vapes from a physical site rather than online, your choice of location is best considered at a retail zone with plenty of traffic. Get your products in the eyes of as many people as possible to boost the chances of your business. Most vape stores making great sales are strategically located in public places or leverage businesses like busy malls with a guaranteed flow of shoppers.
A good model we notice for vape stores is that of a convenience store; in fact, you might have noticed several vape shops have branched out into other merchandise as well. We can name at least one store that sells the adult trifecta of alcohol, tobacco, and vapes.
High-traffic areas are likely to have convenience stores selling vapes. Before leasing a vape shop, ensure the location is optimal. Carry out competitive analysis to identify your competitors in the area and your chances against them. Setting up at trade shows, fairs, festivals, and other relevant local sales events may also produce good brand marketing results.
Find Reliable Suppliers
Ideally, getting all your vape products from a supplier makes your life easier. However, that is not sound for your vaping store. A hitch in your supply line can put your business at a standstill. Partnering with several wholesalers with good track records and products helps keep your inventory always fresh and your customers happy.
You of course want to have the widest selection possible to meet demand. Strive to have various vapes of different Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine portions (PG/VG ratios) and popular flavors. Stocking vaping accessories such as battery chargers, replacement cards, vape batteries, vape juice, and other hardware yields more sales and profits.
White labeling vape products might be worth considering when sourcing for products. With this option, you, as a vape store owner, can put your brand and label on someone else’s vape products. That may not be feasible for someone just starting out and on budget; it is worth considering for future expansion.
Get Business Insurance
The types of insurance policy to go for depends on the business. Planning business is never complete without considering risks. A vaping store is generally considered a high-risk venture and likely to attract substantial insurance costs more than a regular retail business. However, factors like the cost of your inventory, projected revenue, equipment, and the value of your business determine the exact cost of your insurance.
General Liability can protect the financial well-being of your vape store if an accident or loss occurs. Commercial Property Insurance and Product Liability Insurance or Workers’ Comprehensive Insurance may be worth looking into, for more comprehensive coverage. In sum, look for a highly recommended local insurance agent or niche-specific insurance broker to guide you on the details and how best to protect your vaping store against loss.
Market and Build a Social Media Presence.
To stand out, you need to get creative with the branding and naming of your vaping store. When you strike a winning name or logo, protect it by filing necessary trademarks. This is very important in the era of so many counterfeit vapes flooding their way into the country.
Marketing the vape business online might be tricky and requires creativity, considering giants like Facebook and Google do not accept vape-related adverts. Building a solid social media presence and following a community of vapers remains an effective strategy to court the attention of new vapers and keep returning customers. You can also take advantage of services like Google My Business, which shows your address and phone numbers whenever someone within your location searches for the products. A GMB listing cannot be overemphasized; it is comparable to having a Yellow Pages listing back in the day.

Here at DabConnection, we proudly cultivate our reputation as one of the few truly unbiased review websites for the cannabis industry. Unfortunately, when you’re dedicated to telling the unvarnished truth as a staunch consumer-side advocate, you tend to make a few enemies. We get a lot of blowback from outfits whom we’ve called out in the past, but we’ll talk more about that further down.
Recently we’ve become quite alarmed at the number of fake websites online scamming users. These sites claim to sell cannabis products, but end up taking people’s money and sending nothing. The more we post about this, the more it blows up. A recap:
It seems for every one we report, commenters come back with ten more they found. The FDA and DEA are aware of this issue and have so far taken down 44 vape scam websites, but of course more pop up. The watchdog site The Scam Directory lists many more; at rough count they list 1,600 known websites running rip-off stores in the cannabis product niche!
Meanwhile our commenters here report sad tales of getting scammed for their money, some going into the thousands of dollars. Check the comments under those previous blog posts listed in the recap. One person after another reports getting ripped off. Let’s reiterate:
ALL Websites Offering to Ship THC Products in the US Are Scams!
All of them, all of them, all of them. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you live in a state where cannabis is still illegal without a medical referral, I’m sure that you wish that it were that easy to just buy some vape carts online like any other product. But it does not work that way.
You can ship hardware. That is legal. You can ship accessories, pipes, rigs, vaporizers, batteries, and so on.
You can ship CBD and hemp products. That is also allowed under the Farm Bill, as long as the products contain less than 0.3% THC.
You can ship Delta 8 THC. Delta 8 is so far federally unregulated. That may change, and it is already banned in several states that don’t have a legal cannabis plan yet, but for now, as far as the federal government is concerned, shipping it is fine.
You can get cannabis products delivered locally in a legalized state. Delivery is not the same thing as shipping. Shipping is an act requiring postage, packaging, and a nation-wide network. Delivering is something you do with a pizza.
YOU CAN NOT SHIP REGULAR THC IN THE UNITED STATES. That is because shipping falls under federal jurisdiction, and THC is federally illegal under the Controlled Substances Act. This applies even if you are shipping from a fully legalized state to another fully legalized state, because all postal services fall under federal jurisdiction.
> “Having marijuana legalized in only a few states means that it must stay there, no matter where you are from.”
> “Shipping companies, such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx, reserve the right to search any packages that they flag as suspicious. These companies have drug dogs that are trained to smell for marijuana. If your package is flagged, USPS, UPS, and FedEx have the ability to search it and call the police. In fact, in 2016, the USPS seized over 36,000 pounds of marijuana.”
So there you have it. Even if a website took your payment online and legitimately shipped THC products to you, the USPS, UPS, and FedEx would stop the package in their processing facility and turn it over to the cops. It would never get to you.
I understand, this is an extremely confusing time in the history of cannabis! Let’s try it as an infographic:
We have come all the way from a blanket banning of a whole plant to stressing out about percentages of an individual molecule, even to the point, in delta 8’s case, of distinguishing it from a very similar molecule. This is ridiculous, but it’s the reality of life right now.
Which Brings Us to Green Queen’s Dispensary…
One such scam site, greenqueensdispensary.com, made a great effort to bring itself to our attention and let me tell you, it’s a doozy! How many red flags are on this site? Let us count the ways.
#1: They demand payment in Bitcoin or CashApp only
They want payment methods to be non-refundable. Legitimate retail websites will allow you to pay in normal credit / debit card or PayPal. Readers have reported to us that with scam sites, the initial charge is just the beginning. Some sites will string you along with messages demanding more money to cover shipping, taxes, tariffs, the mule got sick, or whatever excuse. There is always a dramatic story with scammers.
#2: They show fake cart brands
They actually show several counterfeits of real brands too, but seem to make no distinction between real and fake. Now why shouldn’t they have only real brands? Because scam sites are not going by the true market; they’re going by what they see online. The fake and counterfeit vape cart brands are the ones getting spammed over and over on Instagram, so they’re more visible.
But hey, our old friends Mario carts, Cereal carts, Monopoly carts, and more! Haven’t seen these old boof brands around in months. And let’s not forget those Danks!
#3: They demonstrate blatant ignorance of the cannabis market
It’s interesting that the site shows a separate tab just for Moonrocks. We know that Dr. Zodiak’s Moonrocks is one of the oldest cart brands, now (to the best of our knowledge) long defunct, which were among the first to be counterfeited. We know that “moon rocks” are also a kind of cannabis flower offering which has been dipped in extract and rolled in kief. These seem to be a rare faddish trend that most cannabis fanciers avoid, as they’re usually sub-par buds. Compare the day-old steak at the grocery store where the butcher counter repackaged it with sauce, seasoning, and veggies as a shish-kabob or something.
So why the weird grouping and pricing? It makes no sense to charge such high rates for second-rate bud that’s been rolled around in leftover sauce and dust, definitely not side-by-side with a years-outdated vape cart brand.
Further down on the same page, there’s one selection just called “buy weed.”
This photo is a plain old bag of nugs, displayed exactly like you would find at a pop-up underground sesh. But why have them specifically on the “Moonrocks” page? What we’re seeing here is people with no actual knowledge of the cannabis industry, possibly not even speaking English. They are just cobbling things together out of copy-and-pasted text run through Google.
#4: Cartoon mascot logos are the sure sign of a scam outfit
Let’s talk about cartoon mascots:
Your humble author works in the freelance field, so this is easily recognizable to me. You see a hundred jobs like this every time you go onto the graphics section of UpWork, or more likely Fiverr or whatever freelance marketplace. You used to see them on the old Rent-A-Coder.com market too.
In international criminal culture, scammers and spammers are mentally obsessed with this concept of a “cartoon mascot” and they specifically mean that, not a logo. Their cartoon mascots all look like this: a cartoon character shaped like whatever the product is, white Mickey-Mouse-style gloves, 1950’s era smiley face. It’s always dirt-cheap graphics work, done by third-world providers. As you can see with the image we parody above in the banner and from the general look of the site, the graphics are all thrown-together mishmosh.
Every criminal subculture has its own quirky beliefs. Online spammers are unshakably convinced that a “cute” cartoon mascot will win us American idiots over and make us give them our money. This has created a cottage industry for cheap cartoon mascots across the board. There’s thousands of these, some as cheap as $10, money a legitimate professional graphics designer would not get out of bed for. What they’re actually doing is just ripping another design and copy-pasting elements together. This “vape cart man” was probably originally a spark plug for an equally scammy site about auto parts.
#5: Site details are sketch
Their address is listed as Vanir Tower in San Bernardino, California:
Now, San Bernardino would definitely be a likely place for a dispensary. But if you look it up on Google maps, the actual Vanir Tower happens to be a government building in the heart of downtown.
That building houses the local branch of the IRS, a US probation and parole office, and the San Bernardino City Hall. No dispensary would set up shop in this building!
Meanwhile, “whois” info for the domain greenqueensdispensary.com was first created on March 6th, 2021, just ten days ago as of this writing.
In between then and now, they found time to spam our forum in now-deleted posts under a nickname that is now banned. THREE times! Of all the cannabis industry websites they could have picked to spam, we’re the one site that built our reputation on busting fakes and scams…
Isn’t that just adorable? If some people would only read.
Why we are not afraid of blowback
We mentioned at the top that we get the occasional fake cart brand, unregistered counterfeit business, Internet scammer, and other lowlife writing us emails. These communications urge us to retract our bad press about them. They range from pleading and begging, to threatening us with lawyers and then just plain threatening us without lawyers.
So we have gotten a series of snivels from the scam website TKOExtracts.org. As we already point out, the real TKO company is at TKO PRODUCTS DOT COM, not “dot org,” and they do not sell any carts at all anymore, just edibles. They pretty much gave up on the cart market after the counterfeits flooded the earth.
Here’s why we don’t respond to threats or pleas when it comes to scammers: We are a REVIEW website. We function in the position of consumer advocacy. Just like movie reviewers are free to say a movie stinks, we are within our full First Amendment rights if we say your cartridge oil tastes like camel piss. That’s what a REVIEW site does! Unacademy for PC
We also have the public’s safety and well-being in mind. The vape-lung epidemic is still a real thing, people are still dying from it and many more are in the hospital, even though COVID-19 has obliterated all other medical news off the media. Kids as young as 15 are dying from it. So we have the world’s most solid good-faith argument, which is why we’re not afraid of being taken to court.
Luckily, we enjoy enough popularity that for every sour apple in the bunch, we get hundreds of readers thanking us for our commitment and hard work. And what the heck, sometimes our “tough love” puts the dodgy brands back on the straight and narrow. Look how Big Chief is doing these days, after all the times we kicked them around.
Readers, that was your bedtime story!
Take-aways:
Every time you see a website which offers to ship THC carts, they are a scam.
As always, thank you for keeping us informed and up to date about online scams! You have all saved other people potentially millions of dollars, if our math is right. Drop by our forum and give us a whistle.
Here we take a look at the THC cartridge by Vapen. This was picked up at The Dispensary Decatur. This cart was not on special and it was fully priced and it was still worth every penny. Across the board excellent taste, great energy, excellent effects, and strong.
Pros:
Strong
Real cannabis terpenes
Excellent taste
Long-lasting effects
Cons:
Polycarbonate cartridge instead of glass
Recommendations: An improvement here would be making a glass cart. I would also like to see Vapen coming out with Live Resin carts as well.
Vapen cart hits on all points
Across the board, this was a great cart and in this review, we will go through the details of the cart as well as the hardware. You can stack it up against our other reviews. This one has been also added to our Best carts in Nevada list simply due to its strength and consistent taste.
Vapen uses the CCELL M6T – Great but it could be glass
My only complaint about the CCELL M6T is that it’s not glass. Because it’s not glass it harder to get the top off if something goes wrong. CCELL rarely fails and I have hit hundreds and hundreds of cartridges., but occasionally one will fail, it could happen with any cartridge of any brand. CCELL might be the most reliable, but the failure of any cart is inevitable at some point in vaping. At that time it is nice to be able to easily extract the oil and apply it and put it into another cartridge. With M6T that’s really difficult.
Polycarbonate instead of glass
I prefer glass because I like the way it feels and because you get slightly more efficiency than from a polycarbonate cart. When two carts are finished, and you compare a CCELL M6T cart and a CCELL TH2 cart, where the only difference is that one is polycarbonate and one is glass, you will see additional leftover oil in the polycarbonate cart that may have been vaped if it was made from glass. Although this may be a minimal amount, it is technically still more efficient. That’s one of the reasons we prefer the TH2 cart besides just be able to unscrew the top.
It may seem like a small thing, but hey, we are a review site. You paid for every drop of oil. You would like to vape every drop of oil, would you not?
Vapen has excellent quality oil
One noticeable thing about the Vapen is that from the start to the finish of this cartridge the oil stays the same color and consistency. It is also thick and vapes slow. You are going to see that some carts change color as they get towards the bottom. Sometimes that is just from the cartridges hanging up too much but like we saw with the Brass Knuckles Napalm OG sometimes carts change color from just sitting around. Taste also sometimes varies.
Vapen uses real cannabis terpenes in their oils
Using real cannabis terpenes may not sound like a big deal if you ask any cartridge maker that doesn’t put real cannabis terpenes in their oil THC cartridges. The thing we notice about real cannabis terpenes and thanks to one of our commenters is: carts that use real cannabis terpenes hit smoother.
A perfect example is the original AiroPro which we still think is an excellent quality cart and strong, compared to AiroPro Live Flower Series. AiroPro Live Flower Series uses real cannabis terpenes and the original AiroPro does not. You will find that if you hit both, side by side, that the original AiroPro hits harsher than the AiroPro Live Flower Series and that after we have tried 5 AiroPro Live Flower Series and probably 15 AiroPro originals. At Dabconnection we have hit so many AiroPro carts, that you can call us AiroPro professionals.
Strength is top-notch and long-lasting
One thing I really noticed about the Vapen cart is after you hit it the strength lasts a long time. I don’t feel like a have to start hitting this thing 20 minutes later as I do with some of the low-end carts like Kings Garden and RAD Vape. This thing really keeps you on the up and up.
They call this thing Daytime and it is really for daytime. It gives you energy and you don’t feel bogged down from hitting this cart.
Taste is great for distillate
The strain used for this cart is Durban Poison. Of course, there are some Live Resins out there that are going to taste better than a distillate cartridge like this. However, comparing distillate to distillate, even comparing it to low-end Live Resin carts that are out there – the Vapen tastes great. Whatever they are doing with the terpenes they are doing it right and they have come out with a superb blend for a distillate.
I am not gonna tell you that this tastes as good as some of the Fuze Live Resin carts I have had, but I think it tastes better than Church carts, which is another distillate that lot of people like for its taste.
CCELL is efficient to the bottom
Even though the TH2 has been out for a while, there isn’t really any other cart that is substantially more efficient. SPRK cartridge by PCKT is slightly more efficient due to the hole placement but overall the difference between the two is very minimal. There is nothing to complain about the efficiency except that it would be slightly more efficient in a glass body.
The number of puffs is high due to thick long-lasting oil
The oil in the Vapen cart lasts a long time. It’s thick, it vapes slow and the effects you get per hit are long-lasting. So you are not only getting a great number of puffs, you are getting a lot of use per puff. Nothing to complain about at all here.
A good buy even at a full price
One thing I have noticed about Vapen that there wasn’t a deal yet that I have seen. There might be one out there, and many of us are used to visiting sites like Dankoil and getting absolute steals on stuff like Tumbleweed and Kanji. However, there is not always a deal every time, and even at full price, the Vapen cart is well worth it to get some variety to the carts you are already hitting. I would totally buy this one again and we will definitely try more Vapen carts in the future. Since it’s always full prices, the value rating is not gonna be the same as when you can get a Kanji cart for $20, but it’s still overall an excellent value cart.

Concluding our Vapen cartridge review
Overall the Vapen is a stellar cartridge. I would like to see it in glass and I would also like to see them come out with a Live Resin version because I know that probably that would be good as well. You get long-lasting hits, long-lasting effects out of a long-lasting cartridge with thick oil that tastes excellent and uses real cannabis terpenes. There is not really more you could ask for.
