When I first heard of CBD a few years ago, I thought it only had one use: to keep you relaxed. It never dawned on me that it could be for other stuff. CBD Luxe is a company that definitely highlights ALL of the uses CBD can have, and this time they’re keeping you in check through the entire day with their line of disposable CBD vape pens.
CBD Luxe carries three vape pens: Be Alert (daytime use), Be Clear (anytime use), and Be Calm (nighttime use). In conjunction with CBD, each pen has essential oils that will help you during each time of the day. Need to mellow out? Puff on Be Calm. Need some pep in your step? Use the Be Alert pen. Want to focus? Vape Be Clear. I need help in all three of those categories, so I reviewed every pen in the collection.
Pros:
Easy to use
Nice taste
Efficient
Cons:
A bit expensive
Recommendations: Make a bundle that includes all three of the disposable vape pens for a discount since they are used at different points in the day.
The design of the pens is modern and easy to use
Even though I love a good cartridge, the hit-it and quit-it convenience of disposable vape pens are top-tier.
There are no confusing moving parts to put together, and there’s no need for a charger. This is helpful for people like me who tend to lose things. The less I have to keep up with, the better.
The CBD Luxe vape pens come fully charged and once you’re out of puffs, you just toss them out. Each pen has a corresponding color and each time you take a puff the end of the pen lights up. It’s easy-peasy and makes the smoking experience stress-free.
Great effects and potency that won’t overpower your day
I use essential oils regularly for aromatherapy, and I’ve been starting to get into their individual uses when you smoke or ingest them.
Using these pens reassured me about the truly amazing uses that essential oils have. Each pen did what its namesake set out to do. Be Alert definitely woke me up a bit, Be Clear gave my brain more focus to write, and Be Calm quieted my thoughts enough before bed to relax.
Let’s get into the potency and what oils are used for each pen:
Be Alert:
200mg CBD
1 mL MCT Coconut Oil
.66mg Essential Lemon Oil
.66mg Essential Lime Oil
.16mg Essential Ginger Oil
Be Clear:
200mg CBD
MCT Coconut Oil
.45mg Peppermint Oil
Be Calm:
200mg CBD
1 mL MCT Coconut Oil
.66mg Essential Lavender Oil
.66mg Essential Chamomile
.66mg Essential Valerian Oil
Each pen definitely does its thing, but not too much where you won’t be able to get through your day. I actually found myself very productive. I puffed Be Alert when I woke up at 8 am, then used Be Clear a few times during the day, and I used Be Calm at about 9 pm when it was time for me to wind down.
Be Calm hits the harshest, and Be Clear hits the smoothest
If there was any of the three pens that I’d expect to be the least harsh I’d expect it to be Be Calm. I mean, it has the word ‘calm’ in it, right? Well, Be Calm was the only one that I found to hit my throat the harshest. This is probably because of the types of essential oil used in the formula for Be Calm.
Be Clear is pretty much just CBD, coconut oil, and peppermint oil, which explains why it probably hits the smoothest.
The peppermint oil feels like your lungs are getting the best massage when you take a hit. Be Clear also tastes the best to me, but I love a good minty taste.
Concluding this review
The pens are a decent value separately, but there should be a discounted bundle that includes all three.
Each pen costs $31.99, which isn’t bad for the high quality you are getting, but I believe this trio works best as a unit. Therefore, I feel there should be an option where you get a deal on a bundle. Paying $95.97 pre-tax just to get all three seems like a lot.

When enhancing your CBD vaping experience, having a reliable vape pen or device is essential to achieve safe and desirable results. About 13% of the US population prefers to take up CBD through vaping, which means that CBD is necessary to ensure that your device is reputable, updated, and has a powerful battery for best usage.
The 510 thread cartridge batteries for vaping devices are durable and highly effective for long-term use. These are utilities that are compatible with various devices and suitable for different user needs. For better insight, here’s a look at ways a CBD 510-thread battery can enhance your vaping experience.
5 Ways 510 Thread Batteries Can Improve Your Vaping Experience
Longevity: One of the best advantages of a 510-thread battery is its longevity to your vape device. Most of these come within a range of 250 mAh to 850 mAh, along with USB recharging, making them convenient to use for a significant time. A single charge will give you a substantial number of hours for using it, allowing you to use the potential of a single battery effectively.
Variable settings: 510-thread batteries come with variable voltage settings that are beneficial for use in devices with controlled heating. The variance in voltage gives more control to users rather than using devices or batteries that are fixed at a single setting. It allows users to heat their cannabis elements safely and steadily to their desired levels.
Preheating capabilities: 510 batteries also allow users to preheat their elements to achieve a smooth and effective vape experience. You can choose to heat your device before vaping, and the battery’s controlled heat settings give you the best temperatures for your vaping needs.
Device diversity: Another benefit of a 510-thread battery is that they come in compatible forms for differently shaped vape devices. So no matter which vapes pen or device you use, it will be possible to find a 510 battery to use along with it. This diversity makes it possible for all vape device users to achieve longevity with their products.
Portable: 510 batteries are also portable, making them easy to carry wherever you need them. If you’re someone who travels frequently, it is quite advantageous to use 510 batteries for your vape devices.
What to Consider When Choosing a Vape Device?
Reputable: It is necessary to check if the device has all essential parts and if a reputable brand makes it. Consider checking online reviews of the brand and its products or talking to people you know about it.
Durability: Checking if the device is prone to damage or is long-lasting. This information will help you choose the most suitable vaping device for enhanced and effective experiences.
Beginner-friendly: If you’re new to vaping and are looking for the perfect device, it is necessary to consider if a device is user-friendly or not. Is it relatively simple to use, or does it come with a complex setting? These are factors that can help you choose the most appropriate device.
CBD vs. E-cigs: People often think these are interchangeable, but they are not. There is even a misconception about CBD being the same as marijuana and about 26% of the population believes so. But it is necessary to note that one is built for only CBD components, while the other is for e-juices. Make sure you choose the appropriate device when purchasing one for your needs.
5 Best 510 Thread Batteries for Your Vape Device
TribeTokes TribeMINI: It is suitable for cartridge vape devices and provides optimal power levels at 3.2V. It is compact and even notifies users when they have completed vaping a single dose. It is a handy utility for long-lasting use and smooth vape experiences.

It also helps to enhance the flavors of cartridges in the vape pens, which is helpful to those who may not prefer the harsh taste of CBD but still desire a smooth experience.
Pulsar Mobi: It is a pocket-friendly and compact-sized battery perfect for portable uses. It has voltage settings up to 4.2V, giving users higher control over their desired temperatures. A single charge lasts a substantial time and is an excellent battery for long-lasting use.
TribeTokes Saber: Its voltage settings go up to 4.8V and it also comes with a 650 mAh power range that provides for effective and long-lasting use. There is a simple button for controlling these settings, which makes it convenient for beginners to use.

Endnote
CBD Vaping is an experience that requires reliable and efficient devices. A 510-thread battery provides long-lasting and effective experiences to users. It allows people to have better control over their intake and also enhances the effects one desires to achieve. When purchasing a new vape device, make sure that his battery is included with it.

So this Clear Creek Extracts vape pen blew me out of the water. Technically it is called the Duo Pod. I honestly am sick of companies coming out with proprietary pods and batteries because I have like 10 at this point and it’s not economically or environmentally friendly. But with that said, bravo Clear Creek for creating not only a proprietary pod but a full gram pack with cannabis cup-winning flavors. If you haven’t tried orange soda by Incredibles/Clear creek extracts, please do yourself a favor and buy this pod.
Pros:
Great for advanced dabbers
Very effective
Flavorful
Cons:
It may be out of the budget of the average customer
Recommendations: None
Love the Clear Creek Extracts DUO pod
I love that is a full gram. The function of having DUAL tanks side by side in the same pod is so that you can turn the pod 180 degrees and you’ll be able to try side B. The pod itself is labeled “A” and “B” and the packaging tells you which strain is A and which is B. The fire logo on the battery lets you know which side you’ll inhale. The smoothest, cleanest, and closest-to-a-dab pod hit out there! Love my Clear Creek Extracts DUO pod!
The flavor of Clear Creek Extracts DUO Pod is comparable to live resin
First off, being able to have two strains in ONE pod to make a full gram is genius. Having a hard time picking a strain? Look no further with the Clear Creek Extracts DUO! The flavor is comparable to live resin. This pod is filled with two cannabis cup-winning strains. Sourband ‘09 boosts flavors of pine and diesel fuel. Orange Soda is a sweet citrusy, creamsicle, fuelly tasting strain.
Clear Creek Extracts DUO Pod is super smooth
This battery has only one variable for a heat setting, which I believe is 3.0v. I like a lower setting, but not being able to control it does seem to cause a very strong and powerful vape hit. The flavor is so smooth, you almost don’t realize that you are even hitting a cartridge, until you exhale and a gigantic fuming cloud exits. You let out a little cough, not because of harshness, but because you took a fat hit without even knowing.
Two strains are a winning combo
Both of these strains are Sativa hybrids. I like to be able to hit the orange soda in the middle of the day for a more hybrid effect. I like the sour band for mornings because that sour diesel really boosts my mood and energy level. These two strains combined and smoked at the same time are highly euphoric. I am creative and energetic. This is a winning combo.
Very consistent
Every single hit of Clear Creek Extracts DUO Pod is a home run. I hate inconsistency, especially with the vape products. This is not the case with the Clear Creek Duo. In fact, they offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed so if you aren’t satisfied, they will give your money back. To be honest that is not something many companies can offer. Some offer a few-year warranty but most won’t. I definitely stand behind this product 100%. It is a super innovative product. I have tried them all from AiroPro, pax, 710labs, lazercat, and 14er. I have also had brands like Stiiizy and Rubi/Kandi pens. So this is a great price for something just like these brands, but way more intuitive and fun!
Concluding our review
Clear Creek Extracts DUO Pod is great for advanced dabbers. It is very effective and very flavorful. But it can be a bit expensive comparing to other available stuff on the market.

You had me at Hello. Wow, TribeTokes! I tell my readers all the time that packaging matters. How a consumer “feels” about the product makes a difference in how they perceive its effectiveness.
TribeTokes wants just an honest review
This package from TribeTokes surpassed anything I have ever received from a company wanting my review for their product. For the record, a client recently backed out when they realized I would give an honest review of their product, not a marketing promotion. Reviews are meant to be honest so sucking up to the reviewer doesn’t buy you anything. Treating a reviewer, like you treat your customers, however, does get you love if your company treats their customers that way.
The shipping box from TribeTokes had darling pink flamingos on it. It a simple thing, but it made my day compared to a cold brown box. The next layer was custom tissue paper with the golden TribeTokes logo lightly printed on it. Classy. These people are good.
The next layer was the products – a cool vape battery called The Saber and a full spectrum CBD cartridge. Along with the two beautiful products was a personal note inviting me to the Tribe, complete with xoxo and a hand-drawn heart. TribeTokes had me at hello!
Built by girls. Powered by plants.
The next thing I did was consume the product regularly until it was gone. Now mind you my vision is challenged so I have to grab glasses or a magnifying glass to read these tiny labels. I didn’t until now. I just roared in delight when I read the box that the cartridge came in.
TRIBETOKES
FULL SPECTRUM CBD
VAPORIZER CARTRIDGE
Built by girls. Powered by plants.
To Use:
Twist into the battery, inhale through the mouthpiece
Warning:
Contents may result in happiness and relaxation.
You know what it did. The product is absolutely delightful. I love the taste, the subtleness of it – just a tinge sweet, but not sickening, fruity and light. And the packaging made me relax and smile before I even twisted in the cartridge.
The Saber is very cool. The cord for charging the battery is attached to the unit and disappears into the design as does the mouthpiece so it isn’t getting dirty in my pocket or purse all day. Very ingenious.
TribeTokes has a great website
The TribeTokes website is loaded with creative products, product information, and bios of the company’s management team. I assumed I was dealing with a small start-up because of the personal nature of the package I received. Boy was I wrong. The resumes of the two delightful women who signed my welcome card blew my hair back. These ladies could run the world with their collective skills but they are happy at TribeTokes.
I couldn’t be more impressed with this amazing company. The prices are very competitive, the packaging is giggle-worthy and the products are top-shelf. Thrilled to be part of the Tribe. Two thumbs way up!

I’m reviewing a GTI Rythm Distillate vape Cart, and I’m impressed so far! I have tried a few of the other brands of medical Cannabis distillate vape carts, but this is my first GTI product. Right away, I was impressed with how the terpene content was included on the label. I’m a believer in the Entourage Effect, so this was a big plus to me. I know that when I first got my medical card here in Ohio, that I was appalled to see the 70% maximum THC limit for concentrates and vapes, but since I learned about the Entourage Effect, I definitely appreciate our options more. Another quirk of note in our medical Cannabis system here is our “days allowance”.
Pros:
100% Cannabis derived cannabinoids and labeled terpenes
The gold standard for High-quality vape carts CCell Hardware
Nice flavor and easy to use for a beginner
State maximum allowed THC percentage (70%)
Cons:
High price with the included charger and included CCell M3 battery
Only available in half gram
Recommendations: I wish they would have had the vape cart by itself at the dispensary, rather than only being available in the vape pen option, but if you want an indica vape cart, then this GTI Rythm Pez seems like a pretty good option so far. The flavor is nice, and not too sweet, and the effects are strong indica couch-lock. It would be great if they sold these carts at a higher weight, like 0.85 grams. I appreciate how GTI clearly labels their indica, hybrid, Sativa, and CBD carts; I appreciate being able to tell just by looking at the cart, whether it’s an indica, sativa, or hybrid. From my experience, that’s unique.
Cannabis-derived terps
I won’t go into too many details, but basically, one day’s worth of THC in a concentrate or vape cart is 590 mg. This means that you will often see carts and concentrates that have 0.85 grams, or 850 mg of oil because 70% of that is right at the one-day maximum. There are also full gram carts here, but they have lower THC content, to not have too much over the 590 mg limit, and they just have more CBD or terpenes than the other 0.85 gram options. I think a lot of people don’t realize that, and they think the full gram options must be better, but I don’t think that’s the case.
I noticed right away with this GTI cart, how it says “100% Cannabis Extract Indica + CBD” on the package. They clarify that the ingredients are “Cannabis Extract, CBD Isolate, and Cannabis Terpenes”, so I’m not totally sure what this means. The main thing I question is, did GTI use the actual flower of the strain, “Pez”, to make this cart? I’m not sure how that works, but I’m definitely enjoying the effects of this cart.
Who would enjoy this?
I think these vape pen setups are great for anyone looking for a tasty medical Cannabis vape here in Ohio. It has everything you need to start meditating right away, and in the case of this Pez strain indica option, anyone who likes indica leaning strains would probably find this to be very beneficial for relief of pain, anxiety, stress, and insomnia. Plus, after you buy one, you can reuse the CCell battery for future vape carts.
Good flavor and effects!
I really like the flavor of this GTI Rythm cart. The strain that I chose, “Pez”, is, unfortunately, an unknown lineage, but it’s an indica and they told us the terpene content. The terpene content is: Caryophyllene 2.07%, Limonene 1.04%, Humulene 0.81%, and Linalool 0.33%. I recognized Limonene and Linaloool as the terpenes responsible for the citrus flavor and aroma for Limonene, and Linalool has a nice lavender scent and flavor. A quick Google search shows that Humolene is the compound in hops, so it gives an earthy, spicy flavor and aroma. Last, but not least, Caryophyllene is the compound found in black pepper, basil, and oregano, with a funky warmth similar to cinnamon and cloves.
The total terpene content is somewhat low, so the flavor is more subtle with this GTI vape cart than I usually vape, so the flavor is a little underwhelming in my opinion. However, this would be a great option for times that you need to be discrete, and not leave a room smelling like a skunk just died in it, just from your live resin or live rosin SHO vape cart.
High-quality cartridge hardware, specifically designed for Cannabis oils
The cart hardware is made by Jupiter CCell, and they are the gold standard. These AVD cartridges contain a CCell Ceramic Core and are made from non-toxic, inert, lead-free materials, including durable, borosilicate glass.
Similar Cannabis products for comparison
I have had a few different brands of medical Cannabis vape carts so far, here in Ohio. It can be difficult for a brand to stand out. I can’t tell a difference between the distillate carts that use Cannabis-derived terpenes, and the ones that use botanical terpenes. It’s a positive thing for them to use Cannabis-derived terpenes, though. I would like for them to come out with a larger size option too.
I’m honestly not sure if this cart counts as broad-spectrum or full-spectrum, but if you feel like you don’t get the desired effects from any Broad Spectrum carts, then I know that the Grow Ohio or Klutch CO2 oil Luster Pods or Buckeye Relief Airopro Airo Pods Live resin series would probably be your best bet because those are full-spectrum, and lower priced than this GTI vape pen. The Airo Pods are my favorite Cannabis vape option so far.
Conclusion
I am glad that I tried this GTI brand cart. I picked this cart, as well as a new Josh D brand OG Kush Luster Pod on Saturday, and they are both great. Since these are both very Indica leaning, they have both been giving me some great pain relief and anxiety and stress relief. The flavor is subtle but enjoyable, and this kind of complete vape pen setup is especially convenient for someone new to medical Cannabis or new to vaping. I have read so many complaints from people who bought a vape cart or pod from a dispensary, just to get home and not realize that they were missing the device needed for said cart or pod.
I have only seen a few different strain options for these GTI Rythm carts and vape pens, but I actually see that as a positive, because it makes it easier for someone new to not get overwhelmed by so many options, plus their strain names are simple and concise, “Pez”, “Cookies”, and “Lemon Jack” were the options at the dispensary where I went. So far, I really like this one!

Roam vape pens are recyclable dose pens. They have THCdistillate that is extracted naturally from sun-grown cannabis cultivated in Santa Barbara California. The oil is purified, purged of solvents and blended with terpenes before going into a disposable vape pen. The pens are manufactured by Satellites Dip and they are currently available in Southern California
Pros:
No clogging in the mouthpiece
The oil never splats through the chamber
The high is pretty intense and unique
Pen hits smooth and has thick smoke
Has a very discreet design
Oil has a very natural taste
Cons:
The indicator light isn’t visible when taking a dose
Only available in Southern California
Recommendations: They should brighten the indicator light because I can’t always tell if the pen is activated.
The pen is compact and discreet but also has a smooth design. These pens would be an above-average experience overall but the effects of the oil really make Roam vape pens exceptional. The high is unique and its effects are unlike other pens I have tried. For this review, I tested the Rio Soul blend which feels like an intense sativa.
The pen design and build isn’t entirely unique, but it’s still great
The entire body of my Roam vape pen is plastic. The pen is an oblong cylinder that is one solid pastel blue color. The tank is visible through an opening on the body just below the plastic mouthpiece. There is an ‘R’ printed on the front bottom of the pen. The body of the pen has a soft matte finish similar to Nuvata vape pens.
The Roam vape pen benefits from using a ceramic coil
The ceramic coil really preserves the quality of the distillate. Every dose of my Roam vape pen, from its first to its last, had a smooth clean flavor. The ceramic coil helps with burning the oil, and so the smoke never tastes burnt or bitter. It can also keep oil from bubbling into the mouthpiece keep he hits smooth.
The tank on this vape pen is larger than most other disposables
Most disposable pens are made with a quarter gram tank. A smaller tank allows manufacturers to keep pens compact and discreet. However, These vape pens have half gram tanks and manage to be smaller than some disposable pens on the market.
The oil within the tank is a clear brown color and seems pretty thick. It vapes smooth and has a very natural fruity flavor without any bitter aftertaste. The oil isn’t harsh on the sinuses or throat and is very easy to vape. Like some cannabis companies, Roam has a blend of terpenes to achieve the desired flavor and effect. However, according to their website, the distillate in this pen has a blend of 40+ terpenes which is far more than the average.
This particular blend has a robust top-notch flavor to match its smoothness
Roam vape pens have a bold aromatic flavor that has a very natural quality to it. The distillate doesn’t taste quite as sweet as some vapes, similar to Dompen, but Roam’s is definitely bolder. The flavor of Roam vape pens makes it seem like I’m vaping a cocktail of fruit juices and it is delicious.
Roam vape pens do not sacrifice potency for flavor
With THC testing at an excellent 81.7%, Roam vape pens achieve great potency and maintain a smooth taste. Also, on top of THC, the distillate tested at a superb 7.92% CBD which is actually quite high. Most distillates have little to no CBD, however, Roam vape pens have double the potency of CBD heavy flower.
The terpene blend and high CBD content really make the high a strong and unique experience
Roam vape pens have a strong high that catches me by surprise. With an extensive blend of over 40 terpenes, these pens are a unique experience. The Rio Soul pen is definitely not for relaxing and unwinding. The high on the Roam vape pen hit very suddenly and gives me a strong urge to move or create something. I can get quite anxious if I don’t accomplish something or move around while under this pen’s influence.
Efficiency on the Roam vape pen is as good as it gets
This ceramic coil does a great job of sucking up every last bit of the distillate within the pen. Nothing sucks more than dose pens dying and leaving a large pool of oil in the tank. However, this particular battery lasted long enough for the coil to suck up every last bit of oil.
I would definitely buy this pen again
Roam vape pens are generally priced at 45$ which is an average price. Many disposable vape pens are around that price but they offer half the oil that Roam does. However, the super unique high on these disposable vape pens makes it a great value. I am curious about the effects of the other blends and I hope that they are as great as this one.
Concluding my Roam vape pen review…
This pen has a half gram of superb tasting oil with a unique terpene blend at a great price. With a strong high and great physical design, this pen is a powerhouse in the disposable pen market. Although the distillates don’t taste like a flower, they have a clean and natural fruity flavor.
They have an average price tag, but the effects and overall experience really make it a great buy. CBDFive vape kits are manufactured in China in-house by the company itself. Claiming to have worked with prior “big names” in the industry, they exclusively create vape kits. Today we will be looking at their CBDFive vape pen and seeing if it holds up well to the competition or not.
Pros:
Catchy visual design on both packaging and vape pen
Smaller cart hits well and consistently
Quick charging
Cons:
Vape cart glass doesn’t feel properly tempered
Larger size vape cart shattered from light impact of forearm
Disturbing amount of plastic components in smaller sized vape cart
Doesn’t work with most carts due to not having a through-hole for air unless you partly unscrew them, making spotty battery contact.
“Intended purely for aromatherapy use” warnings, speaking to lax standards
Recommendations: Properly tempered glass or temperature resistant hardened resins would make this something I could actually recommend, as it is now I honestly could not at all as it is simply too fragile. As well, the smaller cart claims to use “ceramic components” but upon close inspection, much of it appears to be plastic. Something I really don’t want near a ceramic heating element. Also, the electrical contact for the cart to the battery is a loose piece of copper wire, easily bent or broken off and intensely unprofessional in appearance.
Fix all of these things and that would be a step in the right direction. I would also recommend not using cheap felted card stock for the internal packaging, high quality card stock would give a much better use.
Getting rid of the aromatherapy markings would also help the packaging. A company claiming it is safe means nothing with that. As it stands it reeks of cut corners and profiteering on those not paying attention to details.
Do they manage it? They don’t need to. This statement is pure marketing as is this entire vape kit. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt as much as I could but I can’t help being highly critical of it with all of its glaring flaws.
Right from the outset before even getting the vape kit open there is obvious corner cutting visible. On the back of the packaging is text that reads, “Only intended for aromatherapy use.” This is an immediate red flag. The cardboard is also cheap and not damage resistant. Inside the box the vape pen is inside cardstock and felt.
Flashy, but does the CBDFive vape pen have substance?
The visual design of the pen itself is quite eye catching and at least is the one thing it has going for it. It has an aesthetically well done rainbow metal finish. The refillable cart’s finish looks the same. The power/mode button is a slightly recessed hexagon. This makes it impact resistant, ironically. A bright LED that changes color with the power mode surrounds it. I immediately noticed something a bit off with the smaller of the two carts. The element housing inside is white plastic instead of the usual metal. This is where things immediately start to come apart.
Plastic on the inside of the CBDFive cartridge
Once I opened the package and looked in on the workings of the CBDFive vape pen I noticed that the smaller of the two carts appeared to be primarily plastic in construction. It is both quite light for its size and the white sections have a slight plasticity, certainly not ceramic despite its claims. The contact for this cart is also a simple bit of copper wire hanging down to touch the battery contact. This is an easily damaged critical piece, openly exposed. Not to mention it just looks generally unprofessional. The larger of the two carts is of a common design and it has a poorly painted fill line.
CBDFive vape pen: smaller cart hits better
Upon filling them both up there was a clear difference in the performance of the two. The larger cart hit very inconsistently and often very weakly, even with preheating before each hit. The smaller cart hits much more consistently and heavily, but I was never able to shake my unease about the very apparent plastic components.
I immediately noticed that the feeling of the glass on both carts is not quite right. The texture is that of improperly or untempered glass, with a distinctly fragile and rigid feeling rather than a smooth and robust feeling like that on a cart by CCELL. It appears thinner than what’s common in the industry. I wrote this off initially.
The scene of the disaster… CBDFive cart breaks
While out in the backyard working I was carrying the pen with me and dropped my hand to my side, hitting the chamber of the larger cart. I immediately heard a loud pop but didn’t think it was anything, I figured it was a rock under my shoe. That all changed when I lifted the pen to take a hit and immediately noticed a spiderweb of cracks now across my half-used cart.
I quickly brought it inside and attempted to save the oil by draining it out. While handling it to attempt doing so it literally disintegrated in my hands, leaving a huge hole in the chamber. Truly disastrous. I was not expecting my hand to break the glass nor have all the glass crumble after, making it impossible for me to recover the oil.
Wrapping up my CBDFive vape pen review…
I want to give this vape pen a fair shake and see how it performs, but I’m just very disappointed. It’s component quality is questionable at best, bad at worst, and my attempts to reach their customer service for comment went totally unanswered. I cannot recommend this vape kit to anyone, there are farbetter options out there for any price point. Maybe if they clean up their act they may have a chance but they don’t look to be in great shape at the moment.

The Fuego vape pen is an all-in-one dose pen filled with live resin sauce. The sauce is a small batch of full-spectrum distillate from premium craft cannabis. This premium cannabis is grown by experienced, licensed California cultivators. I believe the Fuego vape pen is fairly new. They are manufactured by Elite Molecular Inc. and I only find them available through Eaze. I believe they are only available in California.
Pros:
Excellent live-resin
Tastes complex like a fresh bud
Super nice high
Discreet design
Cons:
Small tank on the pen
Recommendations: I say a .5-gram tank would be perfect
See below our video review on the Fuego vape pen. Continue reading to see our more in-depth written review.
The Fuego vape pen is really great overall
The pen is compact and it feels very substantial. The distillate is delicious and has a sweet floral aroma. This pen vapes smooth and decent sized clouds. Black letters spell “Fuego” along the length of the battery, for a discreet design.
The design doesn’t push any boundaries but it is very nice to hold
The pen seems mostly plastic but the battery is pleasantly heavy and feels really smooth to the touch. The Fuego vape pen feels like it’s made of marshmallow. The mouthpiece is about half the size of the tank and has the same soft feel as the battery. Fuego vape pens have a bright indicator light underneath that is visible in daylight.
The pen heats very evenly and doesn’t suffer from overheating
Fuego vape pens have a thick cover over their batteries. I thought the cover would make it overheat easier, but the pen never feels hot. The pen stays cool even if I take repeated hits. The vape is never too hot or harsh and the flavor comes. through really well.
These pens have a very small tank that finishes quickly
I don’t like .25 gram tanks of any dose pens and Fuego is no exception. I smoke pretty heavily and I can empty a Fuego vape pen in about a day. It doesn’t help that the delicious live resin in Fuego vape pens makes it difficult to slow down. The pen is perfect in a pinch, but the size of the tank limits the pen in some situations.
The best part is the Fuego vape pen has amazing sauce quality
The distillate is a nice and clear golden brown color with excellent consistency. It isn’t as golden as some, but Fuego vape pen sauce is more well-rounded. It’s less runny and has a more natural taste to it. The sauce in Fuego vape pens doesn’t leave a chemical taste on the tongue like some distillates.
The live resin has exceptional flavor and tastes like flower
When I take a dose of my Fuego pen I taste flower. Fuego fills their pens with a full-spectrum sauce. Their high-end distillation process separates a broader range of cannabinoids and terpenes, giving the final product a wonderfully complex flavor. The fruity citrus and floral flavor remind me of a really good sun-grown Forbidden Fruit.
Fuego vapes have a very good high despite a relatively low potency
I didn’t expect my pen to give me an overwhelming high since it tested at 65% THC and I was right. The Feugo vape pen is not overwhelming but it is very potent. The high lasted about one and a half hours and it’s a nice even high. It’s physically and mentally relaxing, helping me coast through everything. If you want to try something similar with slightly more kick, Friendly Farms is a good choice.
Fuego pens are not expensive and they are an ok value
Fuego is less expensive despite having a similar-sized tank as other pens. However, the price-to-puffs ratio is more or less like DomPens but at a slightly cheaper price. Value is an issue for someone like me who can finish the pen in a day. And I think if I buy two Fuego pens at a time I’ll just smoke both the same day.
They have better value if you use them like a portable joint
Fuego vape pens are perfect for irregular use. They are discreet and good to use on a busy weekend or a nice hike. They are compact enough to take to a wedding unnoticed. Fuego vape pens are joints but without the hassle of lighting and diminishing taste.
Longer hits mean bigger doses and fewer puffs
The packaging for Fuego vape pens suggests a 2-second pull is a dose. For me, that pull is too small and I take 4-second pulls. These pens are not for anyone who wants big puffy clouds, but I still get good-sized hits. I only have to take 2 nice hits and the high slowly sets in.
I would definitely buy Fuego again
The pen is disposable and plastic with a small tank. But the live-resin is worth the experience. The sauce in Fuego vape pens vapes smooth but it’s a fairly small amount. For 25$ Fuego pens offer premium live-resin with delicious taste. I am not going to buy these pens every day, but I will get them regularly for a quick sauce fix.
Concluding my review of Fuego vape pens
I had a great experience overall. I really enjoy the flavor of the sauce in Fuego vape pens. This pen fits well into anything I have to do throughout the day. I have an issue with the size of the tank, but that goes for every disposable with a .25 gram tank. With Fuego vape pens i pay for taste and that sauce is delicious, making the pen well worth the price.
Fuego doesn’t have a website as of finishing this review but you can check availability in your area with Eaze.

Pure Vibe vape pens use THCdistillate oil that comes in very clear. Overall, this turned out to be a great vape pen but they could have upgraded the hardware a little bit to make it hit harder. I got this cartridge up in Colorado and we hope to see this brand available in more areas in the future.
Overall, it turned out to be high-quality oil with great effects and something I would get again.
Pros:
Great oil quality
Oil vape slow
Good strength
Good taste
Cons:
Oil sometimes does come out of the mouthpiece
Hardware could hit harder
Recommendations: It will be nice to switch this to a different hardware style that might hit a little bit stronger.
Pure Vibe Vape Pen proves to be an overall a high-quality product
All aspects of the Pure Vibe vape pen are good. The effects are energetic. The hardware at first seemed disappointing, but once you get the hang of using the carb you can get a pretty strong hit out of it. Combined with the fact that it’s thick THC oil vaped really slow, the Pure Vibe vape is a great product. It’s also full spectrum, but I could not tell how that made it different in effects from other distillate carts.
For this review, we tested the Pure Vibe Full Spectrum vape pen in Sativa. It was 300mg of oil.
Design and Build Quality on Pure Vibe vape pens is good, but it could hit even harder
The current hardware used on the Pure Vibe vape pen is pretty decent. It just does not give a super kick to the hit by default. If you use the carb you can get a stronger hit out of it.
If they upgrade the hardware, this would be even stronger. When you take a look at the in-tank coils in the cartridge, they are pretty small. Much smaller than what you see in CCELL and that might be the reason why the hit is not as hard.
The packaging comes in as pretty standard, and comes in a nice little box. Pure Vibe has awesome quality, nothing to complain about. Throughout the entire use of the vape, it provides the same consistency, it is thick, it looks good, and it looks very similar to the distillate found on Cannavative cartridges and Aces Extracts cartridges.
It’s a little bit lighter than the Aces and a little bit darker than the Cannavative, right in between.
Pure Vibe really delivers on strength
I’ve been hitting the Sativa version of their vape pen. If they have a stronger hitting vape pen with larger intake holes, we probably can get a much stronger effect. However, as is, the Pure Vibe vape pen still delivers.
The strength is comparable with many other top brands we have tried in California and Nevada, and this Colorado vape pen is not a disappointment in strength. It’s just that, it could be even stronger. With better hardware, this might outperform all of the best cartridges that we have in other States.
At some point, we hope to pick up a syringe of Pure Vibe oil if it’s available and we’ll test it out on something like a CCELL or SPRK cartridge. then we’ll see how strong this thing can get.
Comparing Pure Vibe to the most popular vape cartridge brands
However, compared to some popular California brands, even with not-as-hard-hitting hardware, I would put Pure Vibe above Cookies, Stiiizy, and Brass Knuckles on strength. Pure Vibe is way ahead of these cartridges when it comes to strength.
Compared to Nevada brands, I would put Pure Vibe above Polaris, Rhythm, and Kynd cartridges. It’s slightly behind Cannavative and Roots on strength.
Colorado to Colorado put Pure Vibe’s strength on par with Eureka Vapor. Some Airo Pro carts seemed stronger, some a little weaker. I bet if I try more Pure Vibe vapes overall it will be on par with Airo Pro. Pure Vibe is stronger than Javelina. I might complain a bit about Pure Vibe’s hardware, but javelinas is a new level of hardware restricting quality oil.
Pure Vibe THC oils taste like a standard distillate, but I like it
The THC oil on the Pure Vibe Pen tastes good. It tastes just like a distillate oil. It reminds me of the taste from the Cannavative cartridges. Its nothing like the taste so fine with the Airo Pro cartridges or the RAD vape that are heavily flavored. However, that’s fine, I particularly like this taste and I know a lot of people do as well. There’s nothing off-putting about the taste.
Efficiency is good due to low hole placement
The intake hole placement is pretty low and it’s strategically placed where there’s nothing to waste out of the oil in this cartridge. Overall, the efficiency is about as good as it can get and we’re seeing more cartridges converge to make gains on efficiency. Efficiency is becoming less of an issue on cartridges. However, it still tends to be an issue on things like the G Pen Gio Pod, the CCELL Dart, and Uno.
Pure Vibe is a little bit expensive for what it comes with
Pure Vibe vape pens are $38 per piece for a 300mg dose where I went in CO. This might be a little more expensive than usual because I was at a border town when I purchased it. Things might be slightly less in the middle of CO.
Compare to a half gram of other cartridges that range for about $40, it is not the best dollar deal that you can have if you got your own battery. However, given its unique oil and that it tastes good, I will still get more in the future.
Concluding our Pen Vibe Vape Pen review…
Pure Vibe turned out to be pretty awesome. Definitely, something that I will try again, and the quality was top-notch. I would love to see this in the syringe format so we can put it on our hardware or see it on an already done CCELL setup.
I recommend trying out Pure Vibe if ever you’re in Colorado or when they come to your state. You can find more information on Pure Vibe here and see more pics of their products on their Instagram.

This time we’re having a look at the Bloom One vape pen, particularly the Pineapple Expressstrain. cartridge, AKA the Bloom One PEX. The Bloom One is a single-unit disposable oil pen with an atomizer and battery built in. It’s made for being a “Weekend Warrior” as the site puts it, then thrown away. The Bloom One PEX turned out to be a disappointment.
Upon locating the Bloom PEX hybrid cartridge, it’s disappointingly small at 350mg.
Nice packaging on the Bloom vape
It feels as if Bloom One is more focused on public image rather than actual cartridge itself. There’s an excess of material, flashy and attention-grabbing. Inside, there’s a pen secured with a button tab and twist mechanism that takes some fumbling to get loose, with a tiny button to eject the cap.
Big hitters won’t be satisfied with the Bloom One vape
The Bloom PEX cartridge is not built for heavy users. The packaging says the THC level is 85%, but it feels like less. The first hit is milky, lightly searing your back throat like cayenne pepper. The box recommends that you hit the THC pen for three seconds, but that doesn’t seem to yield much difference in results. The instructions even caution to draw slow and easy and only use once per hour.
Taste is artificial and some might like that, but many will not
Even for casual users, there’s better options available than the Bloom PEX. The flavor is artificial-tasting, bringing to mind a Brass Knuckles cartridge. This is pineapple too, which is pretty hard to mess up considering it’s a common hybrid strain that’s very well-supported by terpenes. The tropical tastes are just muted.
The pineapple hybrid strain is noted for its anti-stress and anti-depression properties, but it would help if the cart was stronger. As for artificial tasting vapes, Airo Pro might be a better choice for most since is substantially stronger.
Safety features: auto-shut off
The Bloom One battery allows for 10 second pulls on full charge and the first few hits. As the cartridge nears empty, the system will limit the amount of time you can pull it. It might be a nuisance to some but seems like a safety measure to keep it from burning. When the oil is completely emptied, the battery will start to flash while inhaling. It’s a disposable cartridge, so that’s the end of its story. Not a bad feature though as many vapes you might keep burning it.
Overall, the Bloom One could use improvement, but we will try it again
For what it’s worth, the Bloom One PEX seems to be designed for one target market to the exclusion of all others. It is discrete and portable, made to do its humble job and be disposed of. Overall, it could do a lot better.

Nuvata vape pens are recyclable dose pens that are filled with a THCdistillate. The Nuvata vapes are famous for their unique body and quirky color scheme designed to help the new cannabis consumer. Their oils are extracted from pesticide-free cannabis cultivated throughout California. They are mindful of creating specific flavor and high profiles for each of their flavors.
Nuvata vape pens are widely available in Southern California.
Pros:
The color coordinated packaging really helps keep buying quick and easy
Varying, delicious flavors
Very cool design
The high is a force of nature
Cons:
Some of the pens have a less than robust flavor
Only available in California
Recommendations: Flatter bottom so I can store it upright.
Nuvata is the best experience I have had in a while
This vape pen is exceptional. I am currently testing out three different flavors and each flavor has a unique high. I have the Lime which feels like a true hybrid, Tropical is a sativa-leaning hybrid and finally, Strawberry flavor which is a full sativa.
These three flavors are only a fraction of Nuvata’s vape pens and I really enjoy them. I only made a video with one pen because they’re all similar and superb. Watch the video for a quick general review or continue reading for a more in-depth review.
These pens are superb in quality overall
Everything Nuvata vape pens offers the highest quality. Their oil is the smoothest and tastiest I have had to date. The pen design compliments it all perfectly. The cherry on top would be their amazing flavors. This pen has secured a spot in my stash as an all-time favorite.
Nuvata vape pens use state of the art technology in their builds
These premium vape pens are more than just another dose pen. Each pen has anti-clogging technology to keep it efficient. The mouthpieces on the Nuvata vape pens have dual air-flow technology to keep the hits smooth. It is all topped off with precision heating with a ceramic coil to keep the heating even.
The build on the Nuvata is in a league of its own and mostly plastic
Nuvata fits all the innovative features on a vape pen that is about the length of a stick of gum. The body and mouthpiece have smooth rounded edges and is made almost entirely out of plastic. The body is soft with a matte color and subtle markings for grip. The plastic tank is tucked nicely within the body just underneath the mouthpiece. There is a thin horizontal light underneath the tank that lights up when you take a hit.
The Nuvata vape pen has an anti-clogging design that actually works
The pens I use the most tend to get a clog in the mouthpiece after a few sessions. I store it away and keep it upright. After a while of storing, my Nuvata vape pen regains its smooth hits. As long as I take easy hits the mouthpiece remains clear.
Sleek fun and discreet, Nuvata vapes have a design I can’t stop admiring
The colors are bold and bright on the Nuvata pens and the subtle design feels nice on the fingertips. The pen is lightweight and despite being so brightly colored, super discreet. The simplicity of the design doesn’t warrant unwanted attention to the public imbiber.
Nuvata takes special care of their distillates
They tailor the experience of each vape pen by infusing a 9:1 blend of THC and CBD with natural terpenes. Nuvata vape pens have unique experiences because they meticulously mix specific terpenes and cannabinoids to create an “entourage effect”.
These pens have fantastic oil quality
I have to reiterate that I am not a big fan of distillates, I can usually tolerate them. However everything about the oil in Nuvata vape pens is terrific. The Nuvata vape pen has the best oil. So far they are the smoothest and most enjoyable pen I have had the pleasure of vaping.
Each flavor has its own experience and they all hit real hard
Every Nuvata vape pen I tried gave me an amazing high. The high starts to creep up nicely after a couple of doses. Within 15 minutes the high peaks and lasts for a solid couple of hours. Each high is phenomenal in different ways. I really like the effects of the Tropical as well as the flavor. These vape pens very similar to Roots.
Fun and functional: Packaging is an important part of the Nuvata experience
Accurate and color-coordinated packaging for each flavor isn’t new, but Nuvata has a fun look. Each vape pen has a distillate made to have specific effects and give the same high every time. This means each pen pairs well with different things. So I will give my experience with each flavor and compare it to the information on the box.
Of the three Nuvata vape pens I tested, the tropical flavor pen is my favorite. I really enjoy this flavor for general use throughout the week. The high is more sativa-leaning. It made me super focused but didn’t give me tunnel vision. This flavor made the day go by super quick By making everything a lot more enjoyable.
The lime flavor Nuvata vape pen was my go-to for winding down at the end of the day. It feels more like an indica-leaning high and makes me feel very relaxed and cheerful. This flavor is perfect for sitting back after a long day and unwinding however you like. Nuvata’s lime flavored vape pen made me less focused and more relaxed.
Nuvata’s strawberry flavor pen is definitely the best for outdoor activities. Although this flavor was not the boldest, the high was strong. This vape pen has a high like a pure sativa. It’s perfect for daydreaming while on a hike or a long commute. This flavor is perfect for my weekend activities.
Nuvata vape pens have the most fantastic tasting oil ever
Each puff was a shot of flavor with no negative after tastes. The flavor of each oil is a delicious candy flavor. The Lime pen was like puffing on off-brand Sprite. Strawberry tasted almost exactly like pink candy from a PEZ dispenser. Tropical (my favorite flavor) tastes like a cocktail of skittles without the sour sugary aftertaste of the skittles. I vaped an Old Pal afterward and the Pal tasted very musty by comparison to the Nuvata vape pen.
Some vape pens are not as flavorful as others
All of the Nuvata pens were superb when it came to flavors. But for me, the strawberry flavor pen had a much milder flavor. I can taste the strawberry and it is delicious, but it didn’t come through as strongly as the others.
Efficiency on the Nuvata is standard for the all-in-one style of pen
As a recyclable dose pen these are fairly efficient. One of the pen’s tanks is just about empty and I can still take full doses with good-sized hits. The battery is still heating the oil well on all the pens even after a week of steady vaping.
Nuvata vape pens have 200 doses per pen but I was having too much fun to keep count
Whatever the average life of a 200 dose recyclable pen is, my Nuvata vape pen is lasting me well into a week of continuous smoking. To keep me at a good level, I will usually take about 9 doses throughout the day. The oil will last me for about 2 weeks before I finish it and that’s not bad at all.
The price per flavor is standard for pens, but it comes in cheaper than brands similar to Nuvata
Comparable brands, such as Dosist, come in at a standard 100$ per 200 dose pen. Nuvata offers their 200 dose pen for 50$. For a half-gram of premium quality distillate the Nuvata comes at a slightly higher than average price. Dom pens are also dosed with comparable flavor at a 30$ price tag. An Aces Extracts vape pen will run you $42.
Nuvata made our list of best California cartridges
Nuvata vape pens are definitely a perfect experience for me. Even with the clogging mouthpieces. The pen comes at a standard price in California, but the oil is definitely the best that I have had. The Nuvata has delicious taste and strong high that can stand toe-to-toe with the biggest brands. As of finishing this article, this distillate has the best high and accompanying flavor I have experienced. You can use their website to find products and learn more about where to buy here

City Trees disposable vape pens come with labels rather than regular strains. Here we review both the City Trees Bliss and Energy disposable vapes. Both lived up to their names. Bliss is their Indica, and Energy is their Sativa.
Pros:
Good effects
Authentic CCELL hardware
Titles live up to their names
Cons:
Can be expensive at some stores
Test results printed on separate sheet
Recommendations: Include test results on packaging (test results are still provided, just printed out in NV).
City Trees vape pens live up to their names, providing both Energy and Bliss
City Trees Energy really gave you energy. I was quite amazed how well it worked as a pre workout vape. It has that energizing effect you get from blazing a potent sativa. The City Trees Bliss vape was more relaxing. A great vape for the end of the day.
City Trees disposables use top quality hardware
The hardware used on City Trees disposables is authentic CCELL. This is the same hardware used in Roots disposable and it does work well. I do like the Select Weekender hardware that shows the oil, but it only holds 0.3g while the City Trees has 0.5g. Hits are consistent and there were no issues with the battery dying early.
Airflow runs smoothly through the mouthpiece shown above. After reviewing many carts, we find that some lack airflow due to a too small hole on the mouthpiece, like we found on the otherwise great Game Time cartridges.
Oil quality is excellent, pesticide free and the testing is strict
City Trees is a Las Vegas based company and you might see them in other states soon. The oil quality is excellent and in NV testing is very strict, so it is rare any pesticides would make it through to the shelves. The only company I have seen dissapear off the shelves for not providing proper test results was Brass Knuckles. It was taken off the the shelf at Essence Tropicana West because they did not provide proper results.
City Trees disposables were pretty strong
You get a great boost of energy after hitting the Energy vape. A true sativa feeling without the excess of feeling like you smoked. City Trees’ Energy is a cleaner way to get some “cannabis energy” than smoking a sativa joint. It also does not have as much of a crash later as the joint does (plus it’s easier to just keep puffing on the vape rather than roll another joint). I would not say it was the strongest I have ever tried, but definitely one of the most energizing.
Both City Trees vapes have good taste, but the Bliss vape takes taste to a higher level
City Trees Energy vape was decent tasting and definitely above average, but the Bliss vape was one of the better tasting disposables I have tried. It was berry like in flavor and keeps a consistent flavor throughout the hit. Energy tasted more like a standard sativa cart, but still was above average on taste.
High number of puffs, both vapes lasted a while
I used both of these vapes for extended periods. The number of puffs I got out of these was definitely above average. I actually hit it for quite a while, more than I would most carts, and then let a friend borrow my Energy and he hit it for even longer. No complaints on longevity for City Trees vapes.
Value is good at the right dispensary
At Essence Tropicana West and other dispensaries in Las Vegas, they generally go for around $45. Sometimes you may come across a sale, but these are worth the full price at most dispensaries. Head on over to the only dispensary in Mesquite, Deep Roots and you will find City Trees vapes for $65 for a half gram, which is quite expensive. At the standard $45 price, City Trees disposable vapes are a good value.
Update: More recent packaging as of December 2020
We dropped in to check out City Trees again. They’re still as good as we found them before, but the packaging is updated. Here it is so you know what to look for:
Concluding our City Trees vape pen review… Overall Score 8.8/10
Overall City Trees delivered when it came to Energy and Bliss. Energy works great as a natural pre workout that won’t make you feel like your chest is going to explode. Bliss offers awesome flavor and a bliss-like effect. Although strains are not named, City Trees truly gets the Sativa and Indica effects spot on in their disposable vapes. Now that they have released 510 carts, I will have to try those out soon.

A ‘vape pen’ is a vaporizer that is made of eCigarette components. There is a massive variety of styles, features, and prices available. Vape pens can be used for vaping cannabis concentrates, as well as liquids. They are also referred to as oil vaporizers orwax pens.
A vape pen is composed of a battery at the bottom, anatomizer (or cartridge) in the middle, and a mouthpiece at the top. There is usually a small button on the side of the unit, which turns on the battery. The battery then heats the atomizer component and the concentrates are vaporized. The vapor is then inhaled.
When vaping, the perfect temperature should result in the concentrates releasing chemicals in the form of vapor. The heat should not be enough to burn materials. There is no combustion involved with vaping.
Types of Vape Pen
Pen-style vapes are usually long and slender, and look much like a pen (hence the name). Using a vape pen is a discreet and portable way to smoke on the go. Using a vape pen is easier (and less dangerous) than using aDab Rig. Vape pens come in all strengths and sizes, and have different capabilities.
There are three main types of vape pens:
Cartridge Pens: This type of pen requires almost no effort whatsoever. They are used with disposable cartridges which are pre-loaded with hash oil. Cartridge pens are low-maintenance, affordable, and usually very slender. Simply screw your cartridge onto the battery, press the button and enjoy. However, with cartridges, you have no control over what you’re inhaling.
Concentrate Pens: Used by wax lovers. Concentrate pens are similar to cartridge pens but more advanced. Instead of inserting a cartridge, an atomizer is used. Concentrates are placed into the atomizer, heated by the battery, and vaporized. A concentrate vape pen is more advanced. This is a good option for those who want to choose their own wax, temperature, and dosage.
Dry Herb Vaporizers: This type of vape pen is less common than concentrate ones. As they can only vaporize dry flower, they are often bigger and can be more expensive. The temperature must be well controlled as to avoid burning your flower, and airflow can be an issue.
A ‘Nectar Collector‘ style vape pen is an inverted version of a concentrate pen. Instead of depositing the concentrates inside an atomizer-type heating element, a nectar collector places the heating element at the very bottom of the unit. The user then directly touches the heat to the concentrated material and sucks the vapor through the tube.
Price Range and Differences
The price of a vape pen can range from $10 – $250! This depends completely on how advanced you want the product to be. A vape pen will be priced higher if it has multiple features, uses high-quality materials, or comes with extra atomizers or accessories.
Two vape pen examples at opposite ends of the spectrum are theThis Thing Rips OG Four 2.0 ($74.20), and theOmicron V5 ($76.99). At right around the same price, you may assume they were the same quality. You would be wrong.
The OG Four 2.0 is a cheap, bad-tasting vape pen that uses plastic and only comes with 2 single coil atomizers. The Omicron V5 however, is made with stainless steel and includes a glass globe and 3 advanced atomizers: a quartz double coil atomizer, a ceramic double coil atomizer, and a unique black ceramic cylinder atomizer. For similar prices, you are getting totally different products.
Therefore the price of a vape pen does not necessarily indicate high quality, and research should be done before purchasing. Check out Dab Connection vape pen reviewshere!
IMPORTANT UPDATE 3/11/21: AiroPro has now rebranded its distillate as AiroPod. Their products now look like this:
Same company with their website at Airo Brands. The below review mentions their old cartridge product line. We will have to get around to reviewing their new product line.
AiroPro cartridges are filled with THC oil and they use magnetic hardware that is known for producing more vapor than traditional vape cartridge systems. Formerly Indigo Pro, AiroPro vape pens are distributed by Airo Brands Inc. They are available in California, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona. They made are best cartridges lists for both California and Nevada.
Since AiroPro launched it’s original cart and we did this review they have come out with additional lines of carts. This review covers the original flavored carts that are still available. Check out our reviews of AiroPro’s live resin and Live Flower series to see the new lines they have come out with. Their live resin made our best live resin carts list as the strongest currently available.
Pros:
Great oil quality
Long-lasting battery
Strong hits and thick smoke
Variety of carts available
Can be found in multiple states
Cons:
Battery indicator light not visible when hitting
The battery does not work with other cartridges by default
Cartridge sometimes has to be adjusted to hit
Battery has had high failure rate, but they do replace it
Recommendations: Make the battery indicator light visible while hitting it. Include an adapter with the pen that works optimally with standard 510 threaded cartridges.
Update 11/30/2019: If you have had an AiroPro battery fail, most dispensaries will replace it for you, but call them first. If they will not, contact Airo Vapor support for a replacement. The UWOW Storm battery mentioned below is currently our pick for best battery for AiroPro cartridges.
See below our video review on the AiroPro vape pen and cartridges. Continue reading to see our more in-depth written review.
AiroPro cartridges are overall excellent
CCELL manufactures the hardware for AiroPro vape pen batteries and cartridges. The difference with AiroPro is is produces a bit more vapor than the standard CCELL cart. Airo Vapor also uses great quality distillates as the oil. For this AiroPro review, I tested both a Sativa and Indica cartridge.
Recently Airo Vapor issued a statement regarding vape safety. Take a look below.
Over 3,000,000 units sold and no health complaints. AiroPro carts are available in multiple states and they follow all proper procedures in making their products.
Design and Build is unique to the AiroPro vape pen, but awesome quality overall
The AiroPro uses a CCELL cartridge that is not threaded. Instead of threading, it has a straight magnetic connector. The magnetic connection had to be adjusted occasionally by popping the atomizer back in and pressing it. Not really a big deal and have had this happen wit almost every other cartridge type at some point with extensive use.
Only design flaw shows when the AiroPro battery is dying
Airo Vapor’s battery for the AiroPro cartridge system overall does a great job, but when it runs out of juice it can be hard to tell. The placement of the charging light that indicates the battery is dying cannot be seen while you are hitting it. You have to hit it real quick and turn it around if your vape is not hitting to see if it is dead. Sometimes it is just the cartridge needing an adjustment and the battery is still alive. Having the ability to see the battery status while hitting it would be a big plus. Many batteries do not have indicator lights at all.
How to tell the battery is dying
The battery vibrates in a way to tell you if it is dying:
One pulse – 30% battery left
Two pulses – 20% battery left
Three pulses – 10% battery left
Although I would prefer lights to tell, this still at least lets you know where the battery is at on the amount of power left.
Vibrates when you are hitting it
Taking a hit from the vaporizer results in a vibration you can feel. I like this feature as it lets you know when you are getting a hit or not. Adjust the cartridge by taking it out and putting it back in and moving it a bit if you are not getting it to hit. This is common with other carts as well, but with the vibration feature, you get to that part a little faster since you can tell right away it if the vape pen is not hitting properly.
The best battery for AiroPro is the UWOW Storm
This little known battery from a now possibly defunct company works best with AiroPro. We do disclaim here this battery was not designed for AiroPro, made by CCELL nor designed with AiroPro in mind. We just had an AiroPro battery go bad once and this was lying around and it worked.
The key is don’t use the magnetic adapter when you use the UWOW Storm with an AiroPro cart. Just pop it in and it works. If it’s being picky pull it out push it in and twist it a bit.
We originally received the battery it as a sample from UWOW when they sent us their C-Rex cartridge. We could not find them anymore and think they may have gone out of business. However, the UWOW Storm is still sold in a lot of places. So far the cheapest we have found is $15.99 at City of Vape. With shipping about $21 for most people in the US.
The Storm battery has lasted so far about a year and as you can see above it’s taken some beatings. Lots of drops and falls, still going strong. Hits off this are also harder than on the regular AiroPro battery.
4.0 volts seems to be a good setting. Don’t good too high as you may blow the cartridge. Another plus is you can bring the magnetic adapter and only need one battery for regular carts and AiroPro. The Storm battery also works with both top and bottom airflow 510 carts when the magnetic adapter is used.
Carrying case is a nice bonus, but you pay for it
Airo Vapor throws in a carrying case with the AiroPro. I really like the case and will use it to carry it around. You cannot fit regular CCELL carts properly in the slots but could fit another similar sized stick battery in. The slots that hold AiroPro carts fit other carts just fine too.
The AiroPro’s standard retail price at dispensaries is $35 while the CCELL Silo and Palm are $25. An extra $10 is not much compared to cartridge costs and you get a case, but the AiroPro is not compatible with other cartridges without an adapter. I will make a separate post on using a PCKT One adapter with the AiroPro to make it work with standard CCELL cartridges.
Oil quality shines on AiroPro carts, top-notch distillate
AiroPro THC cartridges use distillate oil. I originally skipped the vape carts because I was told they were regular CO2 oil incorrectly at Nuwu dispensary. Sick of CO2 after too many CO2 carts I wanted some distillates and was directed to the less than stellar Cannabiotix vape cartridges. I went to Essence Tropicana a few months later. I was then correctly informed that they are distillate and bought a battery with two cartridges.
AiroPro vape cartridges test high on THC and feel strong
THC percentage is not the end all be all of the strength, but it does matter. Oz’s Orchard tested at almost 84% THC and Northern Lights tested at almost 74%. AiroPro’s vaporization system is excellent. The experience is consistent. You have to use their battery, but that helps with consistency. We have found that CCELL carts work better with CCELL cartridges, and the AiroPro forces that experience by requiring their battery.
The taste was stellar particularly on the Sativa cart
I am not a big fan of flavor being added or where strength is sacrificed to add more terpenes. Although THC percentage is not everything, I generally try to pick out carts that are at least in the mid-70s. Budtenders often will recommend a cartridge due to flavor so it is always good to ask, is this one really strong?
Stronger sometimes means worse flavor, not here
Many of our readers would just take strength over anything and there are a lot of carts that have more terps and less THC. Terps are important too but I rather take the higher THC percentage and that often results in not-as-good taste. There are some carts that test high in THC, taste good, but still are not that strong, like we found on our Flav cart review.
There are lots of carts in the mid-high 60s for THC percentage that taste better than the finest distillate high percentage carts. AiroPro’s indica cartridge tasted pretty standard for a distillate cart but in a good way. The taste was amazing on Oz’s orchard despite its strength.
Efficiency was as good as it gets
The AiroPro was as efficient as any other CCELL cartridge. This is as efficient as cartridge can get at the current time.
Number of puffs slightly reduced, but each hit bigger
Hits are bigger than of a regular battery and cartridge. This reduces the number of puffs but not in a negative way. The score has been adjusted higher here rather than just basing it off the actual number because overall you are getting good value per puff here and that is the true purpose of the category.
It was totally worth it, would buy again
The value was on point with AiroPro. The battery system costs you more to get in the door than some others, but the case is convenient and you get hard hits. Cartridges are the same price as other THC carts, but these are stronger, creating better value.
Concluding this AiroPro review…
The AiroPro turned out to be a great system overall. Oil is strong and of great quality distillate. The battery is unique and puts out hard hits. The cartridges do not work on other batteries, but at $35 the AiroPro vape pen battery is worth the cost. Plus it includes a useful carrying case.

The Saber vape pen is made primarily for waxand other cannabis extracts. Our review revealed that this pen is great for smooth and discrete hits. Beware though, although it gives gentle and satisfying hits, it is very sneaky and will get you baked without you realizing it.
Pros:
Easy to use
Magnetic features
Gives lasting and smooth hits
Comes with 2 coils
Has three different heating temperature levels
Cons:
Needs a specific charger to it
Gets dirty often from glass tip
Glass tip needs to be cleaned frequently
Recommendation: Switch the mouth piece to some other sort of material that wont break or dirty up that easily and also change the current charger to something more convenient.
Below check out my video review of the Saber. Keep reading on for the more in depth review.
Build was sturdy and designed very well
First of, the Saber has a magnetic feature to it, making it very easy to clean, charge and pack. This has to be my personal favorite thing about this pen.
As a result, it detaches apart in two pieces which happen to be the mouth piece and the atomizer. Something neat that the Saber has is a screen in the mouth piece, making it difficult to catch any reclaim on the glass. This magnetic feature makes the cleaning process a lot simpler.
Although this makes it easy to clean, the mouth piece does get dirty quickly
That’s the one thing that I don’t like about the design, the mouth piece does get dirty very effortlessly. Whether you take hits constantly or just leave it in you pocket, the glass mouth piece will get either really foggy and cloudy, or it will collect a lot of dust to it. I recommend to just clean it constantly to prevent this from happening.
The Saber vape pen is easy to use and simple to pack
Having different heating modes, the Saber is a very straightforward pen to use. Three click to change the mode from a low to hot temperature. A cool feature it has is the ability to auto heat with just a press of two buttons, maintaining the heat that you specifically chose.
On the other hand, packing this pen has never been more simple. Just pack any sort of THC concentrate and puff away! As simple as packing and puffing. An interesting feature that the coil has from the Saber is its rugged surface on the sides. You will never have to worry about your oil getting stuck on any side again nor any reclaim.
Depending the type of atomizer you use, the Saber gives smooth and clean hits
This pen comes with two different atomizers, one of them being a dual quartz core coil and the other being a ceramic donut. They’re both very smooth and tasteful, but I’ll chose the quartz coil any day over the ceramic one.
The dual quartz core is my preferred coil
This atomizer gives great hits that last longer than you’d expect. It may not give the thickest smoke, but it does burn smoothly and evenly. You rarely burn through your dabs and it is difficult to over pack and clog it. If you have more of a thicker density wax, than I recommend to use this coil for best hits.
The donut was an unexpected, disappointing coil
For my preference, the donut coil that the Saber came with was out of choice and use. Personally, I felt it was a waste of time and concentrate, it just burnt through my dabs. It vaporizes a lot more, giving it a very light hit to it with low smoke density. This coil is more if you want to taste the terpenes than anything. Wasted shatter was used to experiment with this coil. But if packed with distillate, it probably would hit better.
The Saber is a very resourceful and discreet pen to take on the go
The design allows you to take this pen anywhere you go. Also, because of the smooth hits that it gives, this makes it very discreet, leaving little to no scent behind.
The only down side of it being portable is, as mentioned earlier, the fact of how easy it is for the glass tip to get filthy. Due to the smooth and sleek design, putting it just anywhere may damage, scratch or even crack the paint or glass easily.
For the price, it is definitely worth its value
The cost of the Saber is $44.99, which I believe is a great price for this pen. Due to the efficiency of this product, the value of the Saber vape pen is definitely worth every penny, from discretion to the design. In fact, comparing the Saber to the Ceram-X, the Saber would be considered a steal. Having two different types of coils, hitting just as smooth, giving stronger hits, thicker smoke and being cheaper.
In conclusion, The Saber vape pen is a very easy to use pen that you can travel with anywhere you go. For discretion use and its simplicity, this pen will not disappoint any daily dabbers. It is well worth the money if you’re looking for something that is quick and efficient to carry around. You can learn more and get yours here.

The DaBox vape pen is made for wax and other cannabis extracts. Our review revealed a vape pen with some coil features but a lot of flaws. Here we go deep into Vivant’s DaBox and get left wishing some of these features carried over to other pens.
Our review is based on 3 weeks of continuous use with various extracts. This is not a sponsored post about DaBox. We found this to be a wax pen that impresses at first with its hard hit, but long term use shows its flaws.
Pros:
Slide in atomizer
Nice form factor
Strong hits
Cheap glass replacement chamber
Good battery life
Low price for a unique pen with coupon
Cons:
Gets too hot on Clapton coil
No variable voltage, wattage, or temp control
Reclaim gets everywhere
It has glass
Not discreet
The DaBox is OK. Vivant missed some key features most other vape pens have.
Overall the DaBox is a decent vape, but it is missing some basic stuff that seems to be on almost every other vape pen these days. The most important feature missing on DaBox is any kind of heat control. Reclaim sticking all over the place is another issue. DaBox does have some innovations though. The slide in atomizer is an awesome idea and its glass chamber can fill up quickly with a strong hit.
Below is a video version of the review that goes over the vape pen.
The design was good and bad on this wax pen
The biggest design flaw for DaBox is no variation in heat at all. The clapton coil scorches any wax. Having variable voltage, wattage, or temp control allows you to vary the hit strength you want to take. We get it.
Hard hits that are often too hard
They want DaBox to be a super hard impressive hit. Controlling temperatures is not just about hit strength, you may want to vary heat based on the consistency of the concentrate you are using. DaBox puts out 40W of continuous power when you press the button, whether you like it or not.
DaBox’s clapton coil is useless to the connoisseur
The clapton coil is near useless for anyone trying to get a flavorful hit. We always hear people raving on about low temp. I like low temp and high temp hits, but the DaBox is scorching on the clapton coil.
The double coil atomizer was much better, but still coilless is best
The best type of atomizers out now are all coilless. To be specific, the most preferred atomizer for flavor is by far quartz. As we saw in our Quartz Quest review, hitting straight off the quartz delivers the best flavor among the options that are available today for wax pens. The best we are getting out of DaBox is a double coil in ceramic. That’s very 2016 folks. W9Tech and Sourcevapes were the first to have wickless versions of these out back in 2015. For a better tasting coiled atomizer, check out our Omicron v5 review.
Quartz is better than ceramic
DaBox’s atomizer use ceramic instead of quarts bowls. Quartz is more efficient because the wax pools towards the bottom as opposed sticking all around a ceramic bowl.
Below is a picture of the shatter used first on the DaBox. It’s made by Cannovative and is one of the best shatters I have ever had.
Button placement and fit-in-hand on DaBox is innovative, great
They got this part right and in this subcategory DaBox might be the best. It rests in your hand very nicely. You just squeeze to get the power going. I have accidentally turned it on a few times when I did not mean to, so be careful, it is an easy to push button.
We still have glass…
The DaBox took a few drops when I was using it and it did not break. It has a glass tube for its air chamber. This does effect durability. I would not be throwing this around or dropping it on anything hard, good chance it could break the chamber.
Slide in atomizer instead of screw in
The atomizer on the DaBox slides in as opposed to being screwed in like standard 510 threaded wax pens. This is a great design, but the reclaim issues it has can make this situation sticky at times.
Build quality is good except for the glass
I am not saying the glass is poor quality. Having glass on a vape pen is a liability. Everyone else has moved away from glass globe wax pens because they break. I could see the DaBox breaking at some point too, while most other vape pens are sturdier. One day you might sit on your keys and the DaBox is also in your pocket. Those keys then crunch the glass.
The good news is that glass replacement is less than $6. The rest of the body is very sturdy. DaBox is heavy and it does feel like it is made with quality components.
Easier to use than most other vape pens.
DaBox shines in this category. The atomizer pops in and out very easy. One heat setting also makes it easier. I would rather have more heat settings though.
DaBox produces strong hits, too strong on the clapton coil
DaBox is set at a high setting from the start. There are no low temp dabs on Vivant’s wax pen. The hits are strong, but the power is too much on the clapton. So strong it is worthless for most types of concentrates.
Taste is not DaBox’s strong point, but it’s better than a lot of coiled atomizers
The DaBox vape pen cannot compete with the taste of coilless quartz atomizers. Taste is mostly subjective, but coiled will rarely beat a coilless atomizer unless it is of extremely low quality.
Vivant also missed the train on quartz bowls for coiled atomizers. Wax sticks to ceramic easily and it gets all over the atomizer. Quartz bowls heat up and the wax pools back to the center, contributing significantly to efficiency.
Clapton coil produced an awful, burnt taste
The clapton coil on DaBox runs way too hot. There is no getting around it since you cannot adjust heat at all. I used this atomizer a couple times, took it off, only to never use it again. Wasted quite a bit of extract and gets reclaim everywhere too.
The double coil was good, for a coiled atomizer
Almost any connessiour prefers a coilless option to coiled, unless you are going for that really big hit. It is nice to have the option to switch back. For being stuck with a coiled atomizer, taste is good on DaBox.
Taste is better on the W9 Tech Omicron v5 though if you really do want a coiled atomizer. Then we know the grade of the coil as well. DaBox does not post any results or information regarding the grade of the coil it uses.
Efficiency was an issue for DaBox, mostly due to high heat
There is a lot of wax splattering around on the DaBox vape pen. Most of the splattering is caused by the way too high heat being pushed out the sides of the vape. That reclaim is the same issue that causes the atomizer to get stuck when opening it up.
Coils are placed low, which is good, but coil holes are large
The holes where the coils come out for the double coil atomizer are large. You cannot tell right away, but there has to be some wax seeping in there. The only way there would not be is if there is glue we cannot see initially like we found in the KandyPens Elite. The coil holes could have been made much smaller. Better yet, how about a coilless atomizer? It is 2018.
Battery Life was pretty good
I went through a gram at least before charging it. The DaBox is 1500maH, but it does not last as long as you would normally expect 1500maH to last because of the constant output at 40W. The vape pen charges by way of micro USB. Convenient since almost all pre-2018 Android phones use the same cable type.
DaBox is easily portable, but not discreet
The wax pen is a bit heavy, but it has a nicely sized form factor. It is easy portable and fits nicely in almost any pocket. DaBox is not discreet though. It looks a lot different than an eCig vape. Many people like the eCig vape look because it is discreet. Someone would have to be completely oblivious to think you are hitting eJuice if they saw you using the DaBox vape.
At $59.99 DaBox is a decent value, but no heat settings hurt that value. Add a coupon and it is better.
A vape pen with a terrible design flaw does not become a great value just because it is cheap. DaBox is priced at $59.99, which is cheaper than most other major vape pen companies. It is more expensive than some of the lower quality devices out their, like those from YoCan. DaBox is a better value when you find the cheapest price. So far the lowest price Dabox is at King Pen Vapes. Use coupon code KPV15 and you are only paying $46.71 shipped. That is a pretty good value, but affiliate won’t tell you that code.
Scorching your concentrates and inefficiencies hurts value
Scorching concentrates and wax splattering all over the place does hurt value here. I can drop a small piece of wax into a Quartz Quest and use it until the end. On DaBox, wax is splattering everywhere due to the too-high heat. That is wasted money. That hurts value.
Two atomizers are better than one
Vivant put two atomizers in the box, one clapton and one double coil. That is better than a lot of vape pen companies that just include one atomizer, like we found on our O2VAPE Ceram-X review. However, the clapton coil is pretty much useless as it will just fry through some concentrates, not producing a hit most people are looking for.
In conclusion, Vivant’s DaBox puts out too much heat and leaves the user with no option to change it. This seems like a product that would be easily sold to distributors and stores. They try it once and are impressed by the strength, but they do not use it extensively to see what really happens with it like we did here. I could see the same lack of experience with the product in the many affiliate reviews that are out there on it as well. Or maybe they are just saying it is good for the commission or because it is a paid review. You can learn more about DaBox on it’s official page here.
