Hit-To-Draw Oilpens Rock!

As vapes go, I don’t know why everybody isn’t on the disposable oilpen standard already, rather than this cartridge and battery system. A good self-contained oilpen, like the iDelta8 Obsidian, works like a magic cigarette: just puff it! No buttons, no haptic feedback, just draw at will. It’s ready whenever you are, and when you’re done, you can set it down and forget it. It’s downright decadent. More things should work this way.

The iDelta8 Obsidian is the last word in discreet, compact, convenient hardware, with the kind of simplicity I wish I could find more often in cannabis products.

Smooth, Great-Tasting Oil!

The strain they sent me is Raspberry Kush, of which I am a huge fan. It is not one of those sweet, choking strains of which I have been complaining of late. It’s a hearty and robust berry flavor with an earthy undertaste, still squarely on the cannabis terpene spectrum. This pen hits super-silky, so you can drag a deep puff. Raspberry Kush is the kind of flavor that would go well with a glass of Sherry and fireside conversations. Whatever the internal temperature is set to, it’s perfect, never vaping hot.

Great Potency and Effects!

The Obsidian mixes four altcans: Delta 8, delta 10, CBN, and THC-P. Not only that, but the PureCBDNow website (our supplier for this round of reviews) lists three different tiers of potency and price. So the range is:

Silver – $34.99
Gold – $39.99
Diamond – $44.99

The difference in potency is how much THC-P is in the formula. With the THC-P absent, it’s filled in with more delta 8. When you get the top potency, that’s a higher THC-P/delta 8 ratio. I got the Silver version, but I have no complaints about the potency regardless. So, let’s break it down:

Delta 8 – Usually more invigorating, but here paired with 2, possibly 3, heavier altcans
Delta 10 – Feels more sluggish and sedating than delta 8
CBN – The “sleepy time” altcan, very relaxing
THC-P – The latest trendy cannabinoid that’s supposed to be stronger than THC

The sum effect of the oil is very couch-locky, super relaxing, and great nighttime sleep aid. I chose this product to be my emotional support vape while watching election night results, and it got me through just fine. Nothing bothered me. I am thinking of formulating Penguin Pete’s rule of altcans: any four altcans in combination are indistinguishable from THC.

The head from the iDelta8 Obsidian lasts a good long while with just a few puffs, yet it’s so enjoyable you might find yourself hitting it just for the taste.

The pungent aroma of these Maui Wowie Delta-8 diamonds is sweet, sour, and floral with notes of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. At a lower heat setting, the taste of these Delta-8 diamonds is similarly sweet, sour, and tangy. Its flavor is similar to a refreshing glass of Squirt grapefruit soda. At higher temperatures, it becomes a bit spicier and harsher. The flavor of these Delta-8 diamonds tastes a lot better and smoother than the Sour Lifter Delta-8 crumble from Exhale Wellness.

While these Delta-8 diamonds still feel mild, their effects felt uplifting, focused, and slightly relaxing without feeling intoxicated. After initially feeling some uplifting cerebral euphoria, the Sativa-like effects of these Delta-8 diamonds eventually left me in a mentally creative and focused headspace. The strength of these Delta-8 diamonds felt slightly more potent than the Designer Dabs Delta-8 diamonds from Urb Finest Flowers. While these Delta-8 diamonds are not as strong or long-lasting as other regular live resin diamonds, the effects last about an hour or two after a few hits.

The mild daytime effects of these Delta-8 diamonds felt perfect for beginners

Each jar of Smilyn Hemp Delta-8 diamonds is fairly priced at $39 for two grams plus shipping rates. For this review, I will dab Designer Dabs Lush Diamonds from Urb Finest Flowers.

The size and consistency of these pebble-like diamonds make it easy to work with any glass rig or E-rig device. These glistening Delta-8 diamonds are also covered in a thick light amber layer of terp sauce.

While these Delta-8 diamonds have some mildly energizing effects, the flavor isn’t as tasty as Smilyn Hemp

I was impressed with the chunky look of these small to medium-sized Delta-8 diamonds. But I wasn’t too particularly fond of its synthetic plastic-like aroma and harsh flavor. The slightly indistinctive aroma of these Delta-8 diamonds has hints of citrus, earth, pine, spice, and glue. Similar to its aroma, the slightly harsher taste of these diamonds is spicy, sour, and earthy with hints of citrus, pine, and glue. Overall, the flavor of these Delta-8 diamonds isn’t quite as smooth as other regular live resin diamonds.

The mostly cerebral effects of Lush Diamonds felt uplifting, focused, and creative

While the flavor of these diamonds felt slightly harsh, the mildly energizing effects felt uplifting, focused, and creative. Although the potency didn’t feel too strong, the Sativa-like effects still provided some mild daytime relief. The mostly cerebral effects of these Delta-8 diamonds would also help with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and minor aches & pains. The Delta-8 THC % is 41.83%, the CBD % is 35.34%, and the total cannabinoid % is 92.39%.

The Delta-8 diamonds from Urb Finest Flowers felt slightly harsher and more off-putting than the Delta-8 diamonds Smilyn Hemp

The retail price for Urb Designer Dabs Delta-8 diamonds is usually listed at around $45, minus shipping rates. This month, I also tried the Delta-8 diamonds from Smilyn Hemp, which offers 2 grams of diamonds at a lower price of $39. The flavor and aroma of Delta-8 diamonds for Smilyn Hemp felt less harsh and off-putting than the Delta-8 diamonds from Urb Finest Flowers. On the other hand, the potency and effects of these Lush Diamonds felt similar to the Maui Wowie Delta-8 diamonds from Smilyn Hemp.

Overall, this is a very mild recommendation for Designer Dabs from Urb Finest Flower

Ultimately, I would only recommend Designer Dabs Delta-8 diamonds for their great consistency, mildly potent daytime effects, and higher levels of CBD. Due to the poor flavor of these Delta-8 diamonds, I would highly recommend the lowest possible temperature when using a glass rig or E-rig. These Delta-8 diamonds from Urb Finest Flowers felt mildly potent. I would still recommend the tastier, stronger, and smoother Delta-8 diamonds from Smilyn Hemp. Exhale Delta-8 Flower Review – Solid and Harsh

Today we will take a glimpse at Exhale Wellness, which provides a variety of wellness products, such as gummies, flower, cartridges, disposables, edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, oil, and capsules. This wellness brand specializes in products that contain Delta-8, Delta-9, CBD, and HHC among others. So, Exhale Wellness sent us one of the strains from their Delta-8 flower menu. This is also my first time trying Delta-8 hemp flower from any wellness brand. For this review, I will sample their Delta-8 Sour Space Candy flower both in a regular silicon pipe and in a dry herb vaporizer.

The packaging for Exhale Delta-8 flower looks very polished like the products you would find at your local health wellness store. Their presentation is slightly reminiscent of the packaging from Calm By Wellness. There is also a Boveda humidor packet to help keep the relative humidity stable in order to retain all the natural terpenes. Which also preserves the moisture, potency, and aroma of the flower.

Sour Space Candy is a CBD-rich hybrid that’s high in beta-myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, terpinolene, and pinene

Sour Space Candy is a CBD-dominant hybrid cross between Sour Tsunami, one of the first popular CBD-rich flower, with Early Resin Berry, which is often bred for its body-heavy effects. The dominant terpenes for Sour Space Candy are beta-myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, terpinolene, and pinene. Upon opening the jar, I was presented with a large single 4-gram nug. At first glance, there’s a light coat of trichomes. The moist, earthy look of these nugs is somewhat less resinous than the regular flower. The dominant colors that characterize these nugs are mostly dark green and purple with long dark brownish orange pistils.

While the taste of Exhale Wellness Delta-8 flower can be harsh, the effects felt like a well-balanced mix of cerebral uplift and mild body relaxation

The damp, musky aroma of this Delta-8 flower is initially off-putting. The aroma has notes of shoe leather, wet earth, pine, and diesel with a hint of fruit and berries. The taste of their Delta-8 flower is initially very harsh on the throat. Although the taste can be extremely harsh and unpleasant, almost a chemical taste using a regular silicon pipe, this Delta-8 flower tastes considerably smoother using a dry herb vaporizer at a lower heat setting.

I also would not recommend this flower by itself. My recommendation is to mix this Delta-8 flower with a regular flower to soften the overall harshness of the flavor. While the taste can be very harsh, the effects felt like a well-balanced mix of cerebral uplift and mild body relaxation. This strain is recommended for mild symptoms of depression, anxiety, and minor aches & pains. As a result, this strain is best used during the daytime and afternoons.

Spensary Delta-8 Cartridge Review – Top-notch Quality

For our latest experiment in delta 8 cartridges, we will sample Spensary, a wellness brand that specializes in hemp-derived products. Spensary currently offers a wide selection of edibles, tinctures, and cartridges that contain their proprietary combinations of unique cannabinoids. Spensary sent us one of their latest hemp-derived THCV cartridges which also include Delta-8 THC, CBD, CBG, and CBN. The oil in this cartridge is lighter in color yet thicker in viscosity than most distillates

The strain that I received for this review was Northern Lights, which is known for being a strong couch-lock Indica that crosses Afghani with Thai landrace strains. Despite the simple and unassuming packaging, the cartridge itself is made out of ceramic, which allows for better airflow. However, despite the ceramic hardware, there was some leakage at the base of the cartridge as well as some airflow issues towards the second half of this cartridge. The oil in this cartridge is lighter in color yet thicker in viscosity than most distillates, such as Fun Uncle, Dime Bag, and Woodstock Heritage Strains. Even after a few weeks, there isn’t any huge noticeable change in oil color. In addition, the vapor production of this ceramic cartridge is very smooth and impressive.

This Delta-8/THCV cartridge felt smoother than Pally Delta-10 cartridges and Delta Munchies Delta-8 darts, particularly the Strawberry Haze

The taste of this cartridge is floral, earthy, and spicy. The mildly euphoric effects felt calming and relaxing like a true Indica yet still focused, clear-headed and productive. This Northern Lights cartridge from Spensary felt smoother than Pally Delta-10 cartridges and Delta Munchies Delta-8 darts, particularly the Strawberry Haze. A few hits of this cartridge go a long way; however, I felt a heavy cerebral pressure between my eyes with too much consecutive use. On a personal level, it helped suppress my appetite, stabilize my blood sugar levels, and treat my peripheral neuropathy. Additionally, it also calms my anxiety, lifts off any depression, and eases my muscle tension.

The retail price of the THCV/Delta-8 cartridges from Spensary is $39.95 for a full gram, plus shipping. Although some of the Delta Munchies darts were tastier such as their Melon Dreams, this cartridge strikes the right balance of flavor, smoothness, and potency. At the same time, I also recently tried Pally Delta-10 live resin cartridges, which felt a bit harsher on the throat. This cartridge also felt slightly tastier and more potent than the Pally Delta-10 live resin cartridge. Although there is a QR code on the back of the package, it simply redirects to their official website. For the best results, a low-temp battery or lower temperature setting between 2.0v and 3.0v is highly recommended.

As a type-2 diabetic with peripheral neuropathy, I mostly avoid THC/CBD edibles that are usually high in sugar (as they usually cause burning pain or sensation of pins and needles). However, these gummies were lower in sugar with 3 total grams per serving. You can find out more about Delta-8 THC here. These Delta-8 gummies come in a jar that reminds me of the ones seen in vitamin stores and pharmacies. In each jar, it contains 30 gummies in 2 flavors, which are orange and strawberry. Each gummy also contains approximately 5 mg of Delta-8 per serving.

Sugar saturation is a serious health crisis in the Western world, contributing to obesity. Too much sugar also weakens your immune system, a salient point with a global pandemic going on. At first, I tried one piece to see if they had any effect on me. About fifteen to twenty minutes later, I felt mildly relaxed. Having tried a variety of CBD tinctures, I was happy to test out Delta 8 tinctures for the first time. Providing a variety of health benefits, this is a great product for those who want the long-term benefits of D8. Delta8 Hemp delivers tasteful hits and good effects

Taking the first few hits, I enjoyed the taste, of both the cartridge and disposable, right away. The two deliver smooth hits and a nice, sweet taste, they are altogether satisfying to vape. Delta8 Hemp delivers decent strength as well, but the pods-style vape seems to deliver more strength than the cart.

Delta8 Hemp Jack Herer cartridge: Good taste and smooth hits

delta8 hemp cartridge — This cartridge turned out to be very good. Good oil quality, great hits, and a tasteful strain.

Everything from this cartridge turned out to be better than expected. From the taste it delivers, to how good and smooth they hit, these cartridges are overall good D8 cartridges. Not the most potent, but you will still feel some fair effects after taking a few hits. As for the strain, Jack Herer gives a slightly sweeter taste. Not a lasting high, however, but it still gives a nice buzz.

Providing smooth hits for it being Delta 8, these cartridges are pretty satisfying to vape. Delta 8 is usually a harsher form of cannabinoid, but these cartridges weren’t nearly as harsh.

Delta8 hemp disposable: Great hits, thick smoke, tasteful and strong

Although these disposables hit great at first, the mouthpiece tends to get clogged after multiple uses. Taking my first few hits from the disposable, I did enjoy it a lot. Actually, I liked it more than the cartridge itself, at first. These disposables deliver some nice and thick, cloudy hits. Just as tasteful as the cartridges themselves, these disposables are fairly smooth as well. You can even charge it from the bottom of the disposable, using a USB-C charger.

We did have one clog but the other pod ended up working properly. The one that worked properly really hit hard. Occasionally hardware can go bad no matter who makes it. It would be nice to see how much you got left of D8 oil as well. It’s hard to tell the way the window on the pod currently is.

Taking a closer look at the oil, it is fairly thick and light in color. After a personal session with either product, Delta 8 hemp gives a nice and mellow high. Not nearly as long-lasting as a dispensary-grade THC cartridge, but definitely gives slight effects. Compared to other Delta 8 cartridges, this brand gives some nice effects. Of course it does

Looking at the bottom of the cartridge itself, you can see authentic CCELL printings. With the cartridge itself, they give some pretty nice hits. Especially with the right battery, the cartridges are well worth the try.

As for the disposable pod-style vape, it does hit harder but it’s not as smooth.

For these full-gram cartridges, they are well worth the try. Especially if you’re not used to the harsh hits that Delta 8 usually gives, Delta8 Hemp gives very smooth hits. Great for anyone either starting with Delta 8 or someone looking for something smooth and tasteful as well.

Their disposables give good hits and tastes just as great. It is a lot more convenient than the cartridge, but it would be nice to be able to see how much you have left.

D8GAS Fire Edibles Review – Top-shelf Gummies

I was expecting a vape from D8GAS so I was a bit disappointed when a package of gummies showed up. I’m not a big fan of edibles. First of all, it’s hard to just eat the recommended dose because they usually taste like candy. As a former sugar addict, I don’t really want to trigger that. I like to smoke. I like the act of smoking and the relief for my oral fixation.

Secondly, I generally can’t tell whether I have a buzz or not with edibles because of the time it takes to digest and enter the blood system is so long. I usually feel nothing or get sick. However, gummies are what I got, so I dove in.

Hard to open

I had trouble getting into the packaging, so I just ripped into it. That’s probably a me thing so no shade to D8Gas for the packaging. I received The Fire Hemp Lava Blend Sour Apple Gummies 1000mg/2.0 and Fire Magic Amanita Muscaria Rainbow Gummies 3000mg.

Tasty all the way

I tried the Sour Apple Delta 8 gummies first. Whoa. Nice flavor – very mild, not too candy or synthetic flavor tasting. But the texture blew me away! I can only describe it like whipped cream. It was just delightfully melting in my mouth. I honestly was happily surprised. So delicious I had another.

Then I tried the Rainbow Amanita Muscaria. It had a really nice flavor and that same creamy texture. It was hard to keep from grabbing another one of those. I went about my day working on projects and waiting to see if I got a buzz. Boy did I get a buzz. It was quite subtle at first and then profound. I was concerned that I had taken too much and soon would be nauseous and unpleasantly high. But it turned out to be a lovely high, which eventually ended in a nap that I needed in the midst of a stressful week I couldn’t shut down through. I woke up a few hours later feeling fabulous.

So you sold me D8GAS. The gummies are a 10. Am I going to switch to gummies now? No. But you wowed a customer who really doesn’t care that much for gummies. Even though I prefer to smoke my buzz, these gummies were top-shelf. I can recommend them with a clear conscience. Two thumbs up!

Delta Remedys sent me a bottle of Delta 8 Premium CBD oil – 3000mg and a bottle of full spectrum CBD Delta 9 tincture. Frankly, I don’t really care for tinctures but my research into how our bodies work tells me that our most important systems need healthy oils to operate properly. I have struggled with skin and heart problems most of my life because I don’t get enough oil in me.

I had a CBD tincture in the house from a former review but I wasn’t using it. So I tried to again before sampling the Delta Remedys products. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t inviting enough for me to keep consuming it. It’s the flavor stupid!

Nice surprise

I started with the Delta 8 bottle. Damnnnnn – delicious. Wow! First tincture in years and years of reviewing products that I loved the flavor of. The day I started that bottle I was having nasty skin problems. I knew I was not hydrated or lubed so I decided that I would take the delightfully yummy oil every hour that day and see what happened. The results were nothing short of miraculous. My crusty skin transformed before my eyes. Now I keep the bottles on the nightstand so I can remember to access them regularly. The Delta 9 bottle was equally flavorful.

I truly don’t understand the science of CBD and why I should consume it, but results are all that really matter for me. In all honesty, I can’t tell you whether these products changed my mood or not. I’m used to the instant shift in reality that I get from smoking weed. My interest in CBD is as a health elixir.

Delta Remedies sent along a four-jar sample bundle of their gummy rings, one each of deltas 8, 9, and 10, and one HHC. All of them have delivered a top-quality experience from the first bite to nearly the last, and get my highest recommendation. The Delta Remedys Ring Gummies four-jar bundle is listed as $179.00 – however, individual jars are $49.99, and with a recurring subscription order price they drop to a more reasonable $39.99 per jar.

The Delta Remedys Ring Quartet

During the last couple weeks of this December while I was busy wrenching out the year-end list, psychedelic trip report videos, the gift list, and all our other annual fun content, in the background I was sampling Delta Remedys jars. Day by day, they slowly became my daily dose. As I explored the different cannabinoid effects of each jar, I had mounting appreciation for having such a collection at hand through the holidays. Like a little cannabinoid smorgasbord!

Important note: These aren’t even your standard gummy candies. These are ring gummies, far superior just in dining experience alone. Delta Remedys Ring Gummies have vibrant and attractive fruit flavors with no weedy under-taste, a pleasing texture, and do not choke you with a sugar coating. This may not be a huge issue for you, but personally I’m starting to have an aversion to the little sugar-cube blob-style gummies. I’m husky enough to not want extra sweetness if I can avoid it. I don’t suppose anyone out there will make a THC-infused rice cake for me, but if they do, I’ll be first in line for those.

The jars break down like this:

deltas 8 & 10, and HHC: 750MG/jar, 25MG/gummy
delta 9 THC: 400MG/jar, 20MG gummy

This makes the delta 9 a worse value per dollar than the other three, even though the delta 9 is full spectrum (the other three aren’t). Per jar and how the altnoids hit me:

Delta 9 THC: Just as stony as you’d expect! A breakfast of 4-5 will definitely put a shine on your day! But anytime, they’re just a solid, relaxing weed buzz.
Delta 8: Don’t tell your liver, but it doesn’t know the difference between THC and D8 when ingested. You get more of a THC-like buzz with delta 8 gummies.
Delta 10: For the most part, delta 10 only leaves me feeling tranquilized and sleepy. These do the same.
HHC: Once again, HHC is the wild joker cannabinoid with unpredictable effects. This time the HHC hit me as mild, relaxing, and euphoric, but in combo with other substances it sometimes veers into trippy territory.

Gourmet Quality Kept Me Pigging Out!

No matter the cannabinoid, Delta Remedys Ring Gummies have the same quality standards and potency. While the big bundle is pricey at nearly a couple Franklin, you have some 110 doses 20-25MG each of cannabinoids, and then you can mix and match to mood. But if you have a one-cannabinoid fixation and don’t settle for less, you can just get bundles of that one or a subscription too.

* Balance Bar/Strawberry Banana Ice – 2.5gr

The tincture is pleasant and calming

I love tinctures, but the truth is, if you don’t like the flavor or the texture, you aren’t going to use the product. This product has a lovely flavor, and it feels silky in my mouth. I found it very pleasant tasting and relaxing. I believe it has a calming effect, and it is certainly effective at satisfying my oral fixation without harming me. Love it.

Balance Bar takes the cake

The Balance Bar. Ah, the Balance Bar. This is the most delicious thing I have ever puffed on. The first puff wowed me. I handed it to a loved one who has serious anxiety and oral fixation issues. They lost their mind over the flavor and have coveted the unit (which brags that it provides 6000 puffs) ever since. Should my loved one pass tomorrow, you will find the Balance Bar clutched in their cold, lifeless hand. A little humor, but not so far off.

I’ll give Koi CBD the best review I can give. In 5+ years of being a professional reviewer, I have never spent money to buy a product after reviewing it. I have very little money to spend on such things. But my family is now delightfully hooked on these products. I immediately Googled a way to find some in my area.
