Glo Extracts is yet another THC vape cartridge brand which has drawn a lot of controversy to themselves for being an unregulated street brand. Just like a million other fake carts out there, Glo Extracts does somersaults to try to look legit without being legit.

As always, we have reached out to the company to ask if they could direct us to their licensing in case we missed it, and of course, have received no word back.

Eleven websites registered for one fake brand!

UPDATE: In the year and a half since this post was written, it has attracted nonstop attention from spambots. You may see some comments from spambots below this post. The funny part is, several of them all insist to represent the “official” “real” Glo Extracts “company,” while linking to different registered domains!

fake-websites-sell-fake-glo-carts

So we put on our domain-investigating hat and set out to discover how many different domains are registered and active trying to claim themselves the only “official” Glo Extracts company?

The answer will shock you! We find eleven total domains all claiming to traffic in Glo Extracts carts.

    • buyglocartsonline.com
    • buyglocartsonline.org
    • buygloextracts.com
    • glocartsonline.com
    • glocarts.org
    • gloextract.com
    • gloextractofficial.com
    • gloextractofficials.com
    • gloextractonline.com
    • gloextractscarts.com
    • gloextracts.org

Mind you, these do not include parked or inactive domains, nor the ones open for sale. It is a safe bet, as we always say for ANY website claiming to sell THC carts online, that all of these are scams which will eat your payment and send you nothing.

Still, this is an impressive count for just a fake cartridge brand. Beyond all question of a doubt, everything with “Glo Extracts” on it is 100% fake, phony, boof, vitamin E acetate, poison, radioactive garbage. There was never a licensed brand under this name. There has never been a drop of actual pure marijuana oil going into a Glo Extracts cartridge ever.

Furthermore, this whole Glo Extracts operation has moved beyond mere fake cart packaging. It is now something more like a pyramid scheme. It is impossible to sell these carts to end consumers at this point. Instead, the Glo Extracts “brand” is hustled on DHGate to street cart plugs.

So hey, listen up street plugs! If you’re going to sell boof, better pick any other brand of packaging besides Glo Extracts. This brand is burned. If you think you can get people to buy these, you’re retarded and deserve to have strangers punch you in the nose for even offering.

The rest of this post appears as originally written, though at the time we hadn’t discovered the other ten domains of this scam operation.

Glo Extracts has a verification system at least

Yes, black market cart brands are doing this now! Touted on Glo Extracts’ own website, their verification process is called “GLOTRACK” and has the purpose “to verify the authenticity of their Glo products.”

This is ironic, for reasons which should be obvious. Where is there a single, licensed, regulated dispensary from which to purchase a Glo product? There are none. Therefore, the only thing that verifying with “GLOTRACK” does is confirm that your plug obtained packaging from somebody at Glo as opposed to obtaining the packaging from another source.

That is nice, but what about verifying the CONTENTS? Since there is no regulation or control over the distribution of these products, verifying the package is the exact opposite of doing something useful. There’s still no control over the distribution points.

Glo Extracts is counterfeited everywhere

The verification process for packaging is the response to the plethora of knock-off packaging sold on DHGate and Vapes Wholesale. In fact, we mentioned them in our top ten most frequent black market cart brands back before we checked this company out.

Glo Extracts also made headlines as one of the black market brands alongside Rove in a Staten Island NYC raid in January 2020.

At the very least, your take-away should be that if you encounter a Glo Extracts product on the street, chances are good that it’s bunk. Temporarily, the package verification will confirm that this empty package came from whoever is in charge of the verification app before being filled with whatever contents.

Mark my words, I have a prophecy for you: The verification process will be duplicated too, just like counterfeiters have copied QR codes, COAs, package design, hologram print, legal disclaimers, and everything.

Wide counterfeiting is just what happens when you insist on running an unregulated brand. This is why we have branding in the first place. An unsecured brand will be counterfeited with impunity, and there’s nothing you can do about it. A brand that is legally registered to an entity has a claim to sue counterfeits.

Glo Extracts are sold widely on the black market

We find online retailers offering this product at price points which make it obvious that something besides cannabis oil is in the cartridges.

The Glo brand also buys a lots of review sites. This review, this review, this review, all bought off. This point isn’t worth debating. It is plainly obvious to anyone. We usually don’t even care about astroturfing on behalf of street brands, but Glo really saturates the web with it.

We find no less than…

Instagram accounts claiming to be Glo Extracts. Of course, sorting out the real McCoy would be less troubling if one of them had a LICENSE.

Glo Extracts posts R&D lab test results as a claim of compliant testing

In what has become a frequent bone we have to pick with street brands of vape carts, Glo Extracts puts up a page full of cannabis laboratory testing result COAs (Certificate of Analysis). Unfortunately, all of them are clearly marked to not be compliance testing results.

This is a frustrating issue since the public seems to be largely unaware of the difference, and most laboratories and enforcement have not yet begun to address this issue.

The two laboratories represented on Glo Extracts’ COAs are CannaSafe and California Cannabis Testing Labs (CCTL).

For the record, CannaSafe has a clear guide to understanding COAs. Kudos to CannaSafe! From that page, CannaSafe says:

> “If you are presented with a COA that is labeled R&D, it does NOT qualify as a valid COA for the product you are purchasing.”

As for CCTL, their FAQ does say:

> “Can I submit product for testing if I don’t have a license?” “Yes, we can do R&D testing as long as you are a valid medical patient.”

This does serve to indicate one of the purposes of R&D COAs.

Refer again to our guide on the difference between Compliance testing and R&D testing. Here again, this problem only seems to crop up in California.

Unlicensed, unregulated brands like Glo Extracts may contain anything

There is a deadly epidemic of lung illness tied to black market cart usage. Vaping-associated pulmonary injury has so far claimed 64 lives and hospitalized more than 2700 users. Unregulated vape carts could contain heavy metals like lead, pesticides, cut such as Honey Cut, or simply bunk. Or they could be fire if you’re lucky. But a lot of people in the hospital right now weren’t lucky.

If anybody has more information on where these are circulating, please feel free to help us protect public safety by sharing it with the community here in the comments or in our forum.

  1. Weed became legal ~1.5 years ago here in NY and since there haven’t been any licenses issued/dispensaries open yet, Washington Square Park has basically been an open market ever since. Literally the police are all standing around while sellers are out with folding tables and marketing signs selling flower and pens in broad daylight. Which is awesome. Except about a year ago I bought a glo cart from some kids under the name Canaremedy, who I usually get flower and pre rolls from. As soon as I hit it, it tasted weird. It never got me high and just tasted like shit. I put it back in its packaging and bought a diff brand but kept it to look it up. And because I’m always high, I waited until now to look it up. And I’m glad I did. So, moral of the story: it’s bunk, not thc, and it’s been going around NYC.

  2. for everyone saying they get u high hasnt smoked good weed ever. a glo cart will get u “10x higher” bc theyre not real and made with shitty ingredients. its synthetic and fake shit. a good cart will give u a similar high to smoking bud not make u not know where u are. ive smoked glo carts several times, as my friend used to sell them, and everytime me and him were both knocked almost unconscious, our eyes were bloodshot and it just isnt a great experience. the other brand of carts i smoked would give me a good high bc there’s actually thc oil in it and not chemicals upon chemicals with the good carts youll have a good high, able to be aware of things and have lowered anxiety. after my last experience with glos i will never be smoking them ever again. the high u get off of a glo isnt a high but more of a loss of reality. i dont wish my experience on anyone else. just buy from regulated brands and not fake companies.

    • Then get better bud. I know what I’m smoking 🤣 you just can’t smoke apparently you lightweight. Listen to a angry man that insults you on the internet over a problem you didn’t know about rather than thinking for yourself. Smart

  3. Just because there are fakes out there doesn’t mean all Glo are fake. The person who made this bunk article is an idiot. I’ve had real glo before and there are ways to tell the difference between the real and the fake ones.

    • Could I ask how you can tell? Is it the smell? Because the one I have smells like weed and I’m frantically trying to figure out if the one I have is fake cause I’ve been hitting it.

  4. I use glo here in Chicago. They get you high as shit.10× Better than flower.biscoti is my personal favorite. If you want to know if your glo is legit once you get it hit it 4 time in a row regular hits not blinkers. If you aren’t super stoned after those 4 hits, it’s a fake

    • Hi can you share the website the you get your glo at, I’m looking for a legit website is hard to find one. Thanks

  5. DO NOT purchase from glocarts.org it’s a scam they got me for almost $300 and you can’t place a complaint with PayPal because they have you send it under friends and family. I hope they are happy with my money. I’ve called left several messages. I have emailed them I have used their live customer support. NO REPLY. I’ve gone so far as to threaten them with calling the cops. No response. I put their number in been verified and their email comes up with being a scam. Ppl talking about not getting a Samsung phone or shoes. So I’m pissed. If it’s too good to be true then it probably is.

  7. Glo keep changing there Packaging so you know you’re not getting the fake Glo cart I just started these carts and they work. I also got a raw garden cart that was fake it didn’t even get me high lol

  8. Against my better judgement I placed an order with glocarts org on Monday Aug 24. I had spent the whole week prior arguing with PayPal because they wouldn’t let me pay any of 5 email addresses “glo” gave me, only stating that it was too risky. So, glo support was super helpful right up til I was finally able to pay them; I never got a tracking number or payment confirmation email. Support won’t answer me, they won’t respond to my emails and the phone number is voice mail; they haven’t called me back. When I sign-in as someone else and ask about my order they only say “hold on”

Safe to say I got scammed. Jonathon Edwards took my money to help pay for the BMW he’s showing off on PayPal and won’t even bother to mail fake carts.

This is why the federal ban needs lifted. An increase in cyber crime, untaxed revenue and the dangers of fake carts, in spite of the ban should be a clear sign

  9. I ordered some Glo carts from Gloextractsofficial.com. I seriously thought the order won’t come but I was surprised it was left at my mailbox with my order number (#4821) And my names on it (Altha maddison) I really recommend them to anyone considering to buy Glo carts. They are also based in California LA

  10. The real website is http://www.gloextract.com I’ve been getting them since they came out and before “fakes” started being made. It was the only Instagram account out and the only website. They’ve always tasted the same for over a year so I know they are the real ones and they update their boxes as well. Another thing is you can not buy glo carts from the real glo website, if you can buy glos online from a website they are indeed fake

  11. i bought some carts from what i thought was the official glo site. I hope the order comes. Has anyone ever bought from their site? was it a bad idea i did this

  12. One of my favorite carts is from Glo. Guava Cake and it had the sweetest natural flavor. Then I got 2 others that make you cough and taste really harsh but still get you pretty stoned. I’ve had a few harsh carts from the Dispensary too. I agree that they are from the street and it’s 50/50 that you get a solid one.

  13. glo is fake as it gets. if its real why is it so hard for the admin to find a license #? the coughing and the burning or NO smell. you cant use physical signs anymore really because they have added this and that to fool everyone….. there is a good way to not get fake carts: go to dispo. if you are getting a gram cart for half price than your local dispo, its fake unless you are lucky. i just saw my lil sis is smoking these and it makes me mad because all they do is make her cough and hack and i know why but because she continues to be broke it will be these carts that are killing her….

    • Nooooo that is NOT their real site either. I just placed an order 3 days ago on that site. You have to make a minimum purchase of 200 plus pay a flat rate of 50 bucks for shipping, they took my order, and I went against my better judgement when all the red flags started going up, and ordered anyway at the EXACT same site you’re speaking of gloextractsofficial.com , they took my money and actually sent me a tracking number and everything…I knew almost instantly that the shipping company they were using was shady af “ deltashipping.co (DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EITHER) because the tracking info they sent me seemed off, my first warning was when they claimed they would be using “usps” to mail my purchase which I knew was a LIE because I use the USPS app called “Informed Delivery” and it lets me know EVERYTHING about any package that goes through them from the moment the shipping label is created and I NEVER got that! But I knew I was officially fucked once this bullshit company Delta Shipping reaches out to me by email asking for a “cargo insurance fee” that would be refunded as soon as I received the package! They actually had the nerve to ask me for 234 more dollars! I told them they were out of their fucking mind, they weren’t getting anymore money from me! And of course when I contacted gloextractsofficial.com asking wtf was going on, demanding answers and MY MONEY back NOBODY responded to their sales@gloextractsofficial.com email, the SAME email address they sent my order form from and contacted me several times from throughout the process , and NONE of the phone numbers they had provided were working anymore, it’s an obvious SCAM. I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF 3 DAYS so TRUST me gloextractsofficial.com is NOT their real site! Do NOT order ANYTHING from that site! From the research I’ve done the REAL site appears to be gloextract.com (no official anything)-it’s required you to verify that you’re over 21, and it basically just lets you know about all their new strains and the company but you can NOT order anything , which makes more sense. There is another website that will allow you to order glocarts.org they have a phone number that appears to be legit and links to all their social media platforms, but I would be VERY CAREFUL and proceed with caution because they basically follow the same premise as the website I have CONFIRMED is a FAKE (gloextractsofficial.com) by requiring you to spend at least 200 and paying a flat shipping fee of 50. Now this could be because glocarts.org is the original and all the fakes are just copying them, because I haven’t ordered directly through them and I’m not gonna take the risk of being screwed over again! I am so pissed at myself for ignoring what my gut was telling me. I have a plug of the LEGIT carts, but I have to pay double what I would pay if I could could just go to California and pick them up myself instead of having to use my buddy to do it! Lol! I’ve been smoking for almost 30 years & I can honestly say when you get the REAL Glo Carts they’re the BEST out there, the way they nail their flavors is spot on! When I tell you the Cotton Candy taste exactly like Cotton Candy and the same thing with Watermelon. They have the best tasting flavors and the smoothest oils. I just wish I could get around the middle man! Oh well until my state legalizes it I guess I will have no choice , sticking with my guy and NEVER taking the risk again!!

  14. hey – could you explain what mark I should be looking for that indicates their COA that indicates that they are not compliance testing results? I’m on their site now and it really seems legit. I got a whole box of em and I’ve been really enjoying them until a friend of mine showed me this site.

  15. Hi, just earlier today, I happen to come across a glo extract cartridge. I was tree shopping at my usual spot, and when I was cashing out, the guy helping me started telling me about the cartridges. He had a handful, so I decided to add it my purchase. Anyway, I live in TX, therefore, we have non of the same laws that other states have as far as marijuana and any type of legalized use. So, that alone, I already knew the legitimacy was questionable. So I went ahead and googled GE, and. This article was at the top. Which was a bummer, because I was hoping that the cartridge was from an out of state licensed dispensary. I have had in the past that were legitimate, and brought me to from friends vacationing in the greener states. I mean, besides the product probably being fake, or at the most weaker than weak. How could there be anything that could be harming in a serious way, or am I just looking at being bummed and annoyed with no buzz and less money in my pocket?

  16. I’ve had glos from a certified vendor and enjoyed them. Have you tested these products to see what theyre cut with? I’d like to see the test results if you have.

  17. Do not try and buy anything from marijuanaskiesdispensary.com . It is a scam. They will take your money for the order and then say you need to pay another $100.00 for a shipping insurance. Then they claim they never received the shipping insurance and to send it again. Then if you say no I already sent it they start getting a little pushy. Then when you say you want a refund they tell you to go to hell and to f*** off. Stay away from this site . Sorry if this is a little off topic but I wanted to warn everyone because they advertise Glo carts as well.

  18. they sure did spend a lot of money on r and d tests. They have over a 100 and they all scan. Probably should get your facts straight only push quality! Glo nation

    • Their facts are all straight. Everything they said is accurate. Just because you like glo brand doesn’t mean they are being honest. Its an unlicensed street brand, it’s faked all over the country, anyone can make a glo if they wanted.

  19. A lot of misinformation being spread on here, but I guess that’s what all media outlets do to push their agenda.

    • Go ahead and post the license number and info. Glo might be a decent product, but it is not ar registered product and it is heavily faked. It’s all over DH gate now.

  20. I qualified and received my medical marijuana card in Sept and am I happy I did . The vape carts r so amazing and I can’t believe I was ingesting mystery carts ! Don’t buy these on the internet or ur neighbor who has bulk either .

    • Unfortunately all the non-legal stuff online we can never be sure if it is safe

That being said, and although we do not condone anything illegal, we have been told the dark web has good carts, but getting on that whole thing is a hassle too

I would look at doing Rosin and converting it to carts, a bit more work but probably safest. Here’s a guide on that:

      https://dabconnection.com/how-to/weed-into-vape/

    • Agree with admin, make your own, don’t buy online. If you can’t get to a legit retail outlet the only thing that’s truly safe is DIY. No black market brand is safe from having potentially harmful ingredients in it, or just being something other than cannabis (although most of them are just cheap distillate cut with filler that’s safe but diluted)
