Yocan is a company that specializes in the design and manufacture of vaporizers for wax, oils, and concentrates. They offer a wide range of products, from portable vape pens to desktop e-rigs. Yocan Black is a new subbrand of Yocan and their products are known for their high quality, durability, and ease of use.  

Today I got a big box in the mail! Yocan Black hooked me up!

• The Arc
• The Phaser Max
• The Celestial

• Jaws (used for cutting wax and shatter)  

Interesting new series of products from Yocan

I’ve opened and used each item and found them all to be simple to use. They use the standard 5 fast clicks for on/off. 3 fast clicks to change the temperature and on the pre-heat items 2 fast clicks for a timed sesh.  

They are also well-made and sturdy. I find them to be of great quality and can really stand the test of stoners.  

The packaging is like opening an iPhone, very nice. This kept all items intact when being shipped. The package is also very tight to the product, making waist less. I kept the boxes for moving or storing what I’m not going to use.  

My review today will be all the items in the box, so grab a drink and a snack and settle in because we are going to cover a lot of stuff here. There is a lot I have to say about each item, so let’s get started. I’m not putting the items in any particular order. Let’s begin!  

Yocan Black Phaser Arc Nectar Collector

The first item we are going to discuss will be the Yocan black phaser arc. The Yocan Black Arc is a portable e-nectar collector that is designed for dabbing wax concentrates. It features a ceramic heating coil, an OLED display screen, and RGB lighting. The Arc is powered by an 1800mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C. You will need the adaptor for the plug as that is not supplied.  

In the box, you get the rig, Spaire ceramic heating coil, charging cord, and instructions. I find the instructions to be vague and very tiny. I don’t think this is where you want to shrink your packaging. The item was however very self-explanatory once you know that it has the same click standards for most e-devices.  

The Yocan Black Arc is a portable e-nectar collector that is designed for dabbing wax concentrates. You will want to make sure to use something glass in which to use it, not wax paper concentrates. It features a ceramic heating coil, an OLED display screen, and RGB lighting. The Arc is powered by an 1800 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C.  

Here are the instructions on how to use the Yocan Black Arc:  

• Load your wax concentrate into the ceramic cup.  

• Screw the cup onto the atomizer.  

• Attach the atomizer to the battery.  

• Press the power button to turn on the device.  

• Adjust the voltage using the up and down buttons on the display screen.  

• To take a dab, touch the coil to the wax concentrate and inhale.  

The Yocan Black Arc is a well-made and easy-to-use device. It produces smooth, flavorful vapor and has a long battery life. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, and the OLED display screen is easy to read.  

Here are some of the pros and cons of the Yocan Black Arc:  

Pros:

• Easy to use  
• Produces smooth, flavorful vapor (at lower temps)  
• Long battery life (4 people got too high to use it anymore and it was at 1/2 way)  
• RGB lighting  
• OLED display screen so you can set the temp  

Cons:  

• Can be a bit pricey  ($99)
• Not as portable as some other e-nectar collectors  
• Spills easy  
• Top heavy, falls over too easy  
• The tip should be red to alert stoned people it’s hot  

Overall, the Yocan Black Arc is a great option for those who are looking for a high-quality e-nectar collector. It is well-made, easy to use, and produces great vapor. If you are looking for a portable and powerful dabbing device, the Yocan Black Arc is not a great option. Keep this at home and away from children. Make sure you put the safety tip back on once you are done or when it falls over it may burn something.

• Start with a low voltage and adjust it as needed.  
• Clean the coil regularly to prevent it from getting clogged.  
• Store the device in a cool, dry place.

Yocan Black Phaser Max E-Rig

Next, we move on to the Phaser Max.  

This has become the rig that stays on the table all day, every day. I dig this rig! The Yocan Black Phaser Max is an eRig that is designed for dabbing wax concentrates. It features a pistol grip design that makes it easy to hold and use, and it comes with a water bubbler that helps to cool and filter the vapor. The Phaser Max also has a powerful 1800mAh battery that can provide up to 17 hours of use, and it features precise temperature control between 400-750F. I keep it set to 420, just because I like a low temp dab, I like to taste it. I also don’t need to be that stoned that fast, well all the time.  

Here are some of the pros and cons of the Yocan Black Phaser Max:  

Pros:  

• Ergonomic Star Trek phaser grip design with trigger  
• Water bubbler for cooling and filtering vapor  
• Powerful 1800mAh battery  
• Precise temperature control  
• Easy to use  
• Safer than a glass rig  

Cons:  

• TGT coils can be difficult to clean (tip: warm it up before taking it apart to clean)  
• Pricey but worth it  ($160)

Overall, the Yocan Black Phaser Max is a Great eRig that is well-made and easy to use. It produces good-quality vapor, and it is a good choice for both beginners and experienced dabbers. However, the TGT coils can be difficult to clean, it needs to be warmed up. The cap also doesn’t close after it’s sat cold, you need to press it in while it’s heating. I don’t find this to be an issue, but some may be avoided by this process.  

Here are some additional thoughts on the Yocan Black Phaser Max:  

• The pistol grip design is very comfortable to hold, and it makes it easy to control the device.  
• The water bubbler does a good job of cooling and filtering the vapor, making it smoother and more enjoyable to inhale.  
• The temperature control is precise, and it allows you to customize your vaping experience. I keep it at 420F fun!  
• The device is easy to use, even for beginners.  
• The TGT coils can be difficult to clean, but they do provide good flavor and vapor production.  

Overall, I would recommend the Yocan Black Phaser Max to anyone who is looking for a good eRig that is easy to use and produces good-quality vapor. I love it!

Yocan Black Celestial E-Rig

Now we move on to the mid-range of the 3 rigs, Arc being the lowest cost and Max being the highest. The Celestial ($150) brings me right to Christmas, I opened the red one, and its base looks just like an X-mass bulb, so cute! Then you put on the dunce cap that rotates and really makes for the perfect dab. There is no display on this device, but 3 easy to set temperature settings. It features an S1 Reactive Chipset that offers superior programming and execution of its many functions. The Celestial also has a 2500 mAh battery that can be quickly recharged via Type-C charging.  

One of the best things about the Yocan Black Celestial is its glass mouthpiece. The mouthpiece can hold water to allow for the cooling of any created vapor from the hidden TGT coil threaded into the center. This makes for smooth, flavorful hits that are easy on the throat.  

The Yocan Black Celestial is also very easy to use. Simply load your concentrate into the coil, attach the mouthpiece, and turn on the device. The Celestial will automatically heat up to the optimal temperature for vaporization. With 2 fast taps of the button, it will go into a 30-second heat sesh. As it will produce a lot of vapor, two people can usually get a pull before the 30 seconds. The Yocan Black Celestial is a great option for those who are looking for an affordable and easy-to-use e-rig. It produces smooth, flavorful vapor and is very easy to maintain.  

Here are some additional pros and cons of the Yocan Black Celestial:  

Pros:  

• Affordable  
• Easy to use  
• Produces smooth, flavorful vapor  
• Water-cooled mouthpiece  
• Long battery life  
• Wireless charging compatible  

Cons:  

• Can be a bit fragile (not for on-the-go)  
• Not as portable as some other e-rigs.  
• Stoners spill the water easily when they remove the top  
• after many consecutive uses, the “ball” gets very hot near the coil, and needs more insulation there  
• Started leaking after a while

Overall, the Yocan Black Celestial is a great option for those who are looking for an affordable and easy-to-use e-rig. It produces smooth, flavorful vapor( the perfect dab is what my neighbor says about this rig) and is very easy to maintain. If you are looking for a more portable option, there are other e-rigs on the market that may be a better choice. YoCan Black would need to come up with a carry case to keep the glass safe. However, if you are looking for a great value and an easy-to-use device, the Yocan Black Celestial is a great option.  

I should note that the Celestial rig started leaking after some time. Maybe it got damaged in the shipping or had a faulty part but that’s something that should be noted.

Yocan Black Flux

Now I’d like to stop a moment and talk about a great accessory that can be used for all of the above and that is the Flux. This lets you have the convenience of wireless charging your rigs. It features a 5200mAh battery, and wireless charging capability, and includes Type-C or USB-A charging. The Flux Charger can accept and deliver power at a moment’s notice, outputting up to 10W for fast charging capabilities.  

Pros:  

• Portable and convenient  
• Easy to use  
• Long-lasting battery  
• Wireless charging capability  

Cons:  

• Pricey  ($90)

Overall, the Yocan Black Flux is a great option for those who want a portable and convenient way to vape wax concentrates. Keep it charged to keep your devices charged. great for group sessions.

Yocan Black SMART Battery

The Yocan Black Smart Battery is a sleek, stylish, and powerful vaporizer battery that is perfect for those looking for a reliable and easy-to-use device. I felt like it was the base of a Star Wars lightsaber. I was hoping it had a laser come on, it did not, but I wanted it.  

It features a 350mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can last for up to 180 days on a single charge (I’m on cart 3, still charged, and shows it’s only down 1/4), and it comes with a preheat function that allows you to de-gunk your cartridges before you start vaping. The battery also has a variable voltage output that can be adjusted from 3.3V to 4.2V, so you can find the perfect setting for your vaping needs.  

To use the Yocan Black Smart Battery, simply attach your favorite 510 threaded cartridges and turn the power button on(5 fast clicks.) The battery will automatically start at the lowest voltage setting, and you can increase the voltage by pressing the power button twice. Once you find the perfect setting, hold down the power button to start vaping.  

The Yocan Black Smart Battery is a great choice for both beginners and experienced vapers. It is easy to use, reliable, and powerful, and it comes with a variety of features that make it a great value for the price.

Overall, the Yocan Black Smart Battery is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use vaporizer battery. It is small, lightweight, and portable, and it has a long lifespan. The battery is a great value for the price.

Yocan Black JAWS Hot Knife & Thermometer

Now we come to the last Item in the box called the Jaws. This item confused me. I’ve not been a serious dabber for very long as I do like the torch and glass that can give you severe burns. The knife seems to only be useful as a cutting tool. Maybe if you have a glass rig it could be like an eNail? I don’t have a glass rig, so I did not get a chance to use it like that. The instructions are not very clear at all and I had to do quite a bit of research to figure this item out. Now as a consumer, I would not have taken all that time, I’d sent it back or not order it to start with. From the box and online this is what I’ve come up with:  

The Yocan Black Jaws is a hot knife and thermometer in one, making it a versatile tool for dabbing concentrates. The ceramic tip heats up quickly and evenly, allowing you to slice through even the thickest concentrates with ease. The built-in infrared thermometer lets you know the exact temperature of the tip, so you can get the perfect dab every time. Now that last bit I’ll have to take the word of the site on as I did not use this to dab. We did however cut some shatter with it, and it was cool to use. However, as this is an exposed hot tip and stoned people are not always careful people this could be a hazard.  

As for pros and cons, I can not say other than it’s a con if I need a glass rig to use this. More detailed instructions and user examples would be helpful. So I would not call this good for a new dab person.  

From what I got from it I would say, 3 out of 5 red eyes. I am still not exactly sure how to best use it.  

Concluding this review

In conclusion, I find all of the Yocan Black items to be of high quality, with great battery life, sleek design, and out-of-this-world dabs. Yocan Black, I can not wait to see what you come out with next, you have yet to disappoint me!
