SUMMARY | 8.1 OVERALL SCORE |
Today we will take a look at Dime Bag cartridges powered by Loudpack Extracts, which we have previously reviewed here. Recently, I’ve enjoyed the live resin concentrates from both Loudpack Extracts and their budget-conscious brand, Dime Bag Concentrates. Loudpack Extracts is also responsible for popular brands such as Dimebag, Kingpen, and Smokiez Edibles. Dimebag currently offers cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, pre-rolls, and edibles in select dispensaries throughout California. For this review, I will take a look at the pros and cons of the Dimebag distillate cartridges from Loudpack Extracts.
Pros:
- Efficient CCELL hardware
- Above-average potency
- Fair taste
- Affordable value
Cons:
- Plastic mouthpiece and tube
- Taste/potency could be improved
Recommendations: Taste/potency for Dime Bag cartridges could be improved. The oil could be better in glass or ceramic hardware.
Dime Bag cartridges use a plastic tip mouthpiece and tube for their cartridge
This week, I picked up the Sunset Sherbert cartridge from Dime Bag, which is the budget-conscious brand for Loudpack Extracts. The build quality and design of Dime Bag cartridges have fairly efficient CCELL hardware. However, this cartridge did have issues working with certain 510 batteries. Dime Bag cartridges also use a plastic tip mouthpiece and tube for their cartridge, similar to Select Elite cartridges. The oil inside this Dime Bag cartridge burned at a regular rate for a distillate cartridge. The bottom of the cart is also labeled with a Banana Bros. logo and name.
Tastes better than Jeeter Juice, not as tasty as Legion of Bloom Monarch cartridges but similar to Leune Pax pods
Sunset Sherbert is a popular Indica dominant hybrid cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties, first bred by Mr. Sherbinski. The taste of this Sunset Sherbert is sweet, earthy, and fruity with creamy hints of citrus, pine, and earth. Although the flavor of this distillate was nothing too special, it still tastes better than Jeeter Juice, which had a perfume-like aftertaste. While this distillate wasn’t quite as tasty as the Monarch cartridges from Legion of Bloom, it feels somewhat similar in quality to the regular distillate Pax pods from Leune Brand.
Not as potent as Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges and Timeless Noir cartridges with cannabis terpenes
The effects of this distillate cartridge felt initially euphoric, a bit mellow, and somewhat relaxing. However, the potency of this cartridge felt weak as this cartridge didn’t feel too strong or last too long. Overall, the effects of this cartridge felt slightly disappointing, especially compared to the quality, potency, and taste of their live resin concentrates from Dime Bag and Loudpack. In addition, the potency of the Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges and Timeless Noir cartridges with cannabis terpenes felt much stronger than the Dime Bag cartridges for a better overall value. This strain is intended to help with symptoms of ADD/ADHD, anxiety, arthritis, bipolar disorder, chronic pain, depression, insomnia, loss of appetite, mood swings, and stress.
There are better distillates elsewhere, such as Absolute Extracts, Legion of Bloom, Heavy Hitters, Kurvana and PlugPlay
The price for Dime Bag distillate cartridges is usually priced around $35 for a full gram, pre-tax. In my opinion, this would be a very mild recommendation for its value, but you can find better distillates elsewhere, such as Absolute Extracts, Legion of Bloom, Heavy Hitters, Kurvana, and PlugPlay. The THC % of this Sunset Sherbert cartridge is 76.91% and the CBD % is 0.60%. Overall, this felt much weaker than most of the recent distillate cartridges I’ve recently tried.

Overall, I would mildly recommend Dime Bag cartridges for their above-average potency, fair taste, and affordable value
In conclusion, Dime Bag cartridges are mildly recommended for their above-average potency, fair taste, and affordable value. Overall, this distillate wasn’t as tasty as Legion of Bloom Monarch cartridges. In addition, the potency wasn’t as strong as Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges and Timeless Noir cartridges with cannabis terpenes. However, this Dime Bag cartridge was much better than the Jeeter Juice cartridge by a wide margin. In my opinion, there are better distillate choices out there, such as Absolute Extracts, Legion of Bloom, Heavy Hitters, Kurvana, and PlugPlay. Dime Bag currently offers cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, pre-rolls, and edibles in select dispensaries throughout California.
