SUMMARY | 9.1 OVERALL SCORE |
Today we will take another look at Friendly Farms, this time at their cured resin sauce. This is their most affordable option among all their concentrates. Friendly Farms’ concentrate products include their cured resin, live resin sauce, and recently, live rosin. Currently, Friendly Farms offers cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, tinctures, edibles, and pre-rolls in select dispensaries. We have previously reviewed their cured resin cartridges here and live resin cartridges here. For this review; however, I will test-dab their Bacio x Guava cured resin sauce.
Pros:
- Great quality
- Very good flavor
- Solid potency
- Fair prices
Cons:
- Oxidizes rather quickly
Recommendations: Keeping this cured resin in the fridge is strongly recommended to prevent oxidation.
Bacio x Guava is a Sativa dominant hybrid that crosses two of the most popular Gelato strains
This week, I picked up Bacio x Guava cured resin sauce from Friendly Farms. Bacio x Guava is a Sativa dominant hybrid that crosses two of the most popular Gelato phenotypes of the last few years. The new updated packaging for their cured resin sauce has improved since their plain and simple white and yellow boxes for theirs. The boxes are labeled on the top with the strain name, consistency, and whether it’s Sativa, hybrid, or Indica.
The look of Bacio x Guava is similar to the Sherbet live resin sauce
The crisp, bubbly look of this cured resin sauce is one of many ways that this the best concentrate I’ve ever seen in recent months. Curiously, this cured resin sauce does turn slightly darker than usual over a quicker period of time. I’m very impressed by the color and consistency of the cured resin sauce, which I have been enjoying from a local delivery service for a few months. But this is easily the best gram of Friendly Farms cured resin sauce I’ve had so far, based on appearance. The color, texture, and consistency of Friendly Farms cured resin sauce is most similar to the Errl Hill Sherbet live resin sauce, Highland Oil Co. live resin and the Vovo cured resin sauce of Seven Leaves.
The effects felt similar to Maven Extracts and Cream of the Crop Gardens
Cracking open the black jar with its yellow logo, the creamy aromas and flavors of Bacio x Guava are sweet, funky, and floral with notes of citrus, berries, pine, diesel, and earth. This was just as tasty as similar concentrates from Highland Oil Co, Highlights from Connected Cannabis, and Cannabis Cvlt. The daytime effects of Bacio x Guava felt calming, uplifting, and focused, which made it perfect for creative projects. This strain helped me stay focused without too much cerebral haze. The effects felt similar to other similar cured resin sauces, such as Maven Extracts and Cream of the Crop Gardens.
The potency, freshness, and value is similar to Highland Oil Co, Highlights from Connected Cannabis, and Cannabis Cvlt
The full retail price for Friendly Farms cured resin sauce is $30 (plus tax) or $35 {out the door) for a gram, depending on the dispensary store. The price is slightly lower than other similar cured resin sauces, such as Maven Extracts and Cream of the Crop Gardens. I find the potency, freshness, and value are similar to the concentrates from Highland Oil Co, Highlights from Connected Cannabis, and Cannabis Cvlt. In my opinion, this is one of the best values for cured resin concentrates in California. Also, noteworthy: This cured resin sauce tasted better in a quartz banger or cup for any E-Rig and E-Nail than titanium or ceramic heating plates or dishes.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Readers should be advised that countless black market fakes of Friendly Farms cartridges are out there. It is a shame that counterfeiters can be so brazen in attempting to sully the fine name of the company. For quality guarantee, be sure to get your Friendly Farms products from a reputable retail dealer.

Friendly Farms might be your new go-to brand
So, the final verdict: Friendly Farms cured resin sauce offers very good flavor, solid potency, and fair prices. This might prove a good call for a last-minute gift for the dabber on your list, if you need to save up some money for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Although fresh when purchased, the oxidation of this cured resin sauce happens rather quickly, so you might think to leave this cured resin sauce in the fridge in order to preserve all the terpenes. Overall, I have also been very impressed with this quickly expanding brand, especially with their recent collaborations with Wonderbrett, Seven Leaves, and Terphogz. In addition, this cured resin sauce doesn’t taste like CRC or distillate at all, like some other recent brands that I’ve had.
Furthermore, I look forward to trying their newly announced cold cure live rosin in the near future, much like Alpine Vapor with their own solventless cold cure live rosin. Currently, Friendly Farms offer a wide variety of cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, tinctures, edibles, and pre-rolls in select dispensaries and deliveries throughout California. You can find most or all of their products from Friendly Farms on Weedmaps and their Instagram stores, including different consistencies of their live and cured options for their cartridges and concentrates.
