Today we will take a look at Dank Tank, specifically their live resin disposables. Dank Tank also offers 510-threaded cartridges and edibles through their website. Dank Tank sent us a few different samples for their live resin disposables, which is labeled as live resin sap on their official website. This is my first time hearing about this brand, which I also haven’t spotted in any dispensaries. For this review, I will try out their live resin disposables.
Pros:
- Only recommend Lava Cake
- Good effects
- Mild potency
Cons:
- Slightly harsher than other live resin disposables
Recommendations: The flavor and potency could be improved for some of the disposables, especially their Sherbet.
The batteries for these disposables were slightly weaker than Delta Extrax, Delta Munchies, and Urb’s Finest Flowers
Dank Tank disposables come in your standard cardboard packaging with a small window in front of the box. The non-childproof packaging for Dank Tank disposables can benefit from having a foam core to keep the vaporizer in a stable upright position. The batteries for these disposables felt slightly weaker than other disposables from Delta Extrax, Delta Munchies, and Urb’s Finest Flowers. On the other hand, the disposables themselves had excellent airflow and were rarely clogged for me. Also, included in the box is a couple of sticker labels with the strain name for the disposables. In addition, these are rechargeable with the USB charging port located on the bottom of the cartridge.
My favorite of the four strains they sent out is Lava Cake, which offered a mellow and relaxing body high
First, my favorite of the four strains they sent out is Lava Cake, an Indica dominant hybrid cross between Thin Mint GSC and Grape Pie. The taste of Lava Cake is sweet, earthy, and nutty with notes of chocolate, berries, and coffee. The effects of Lava Cake offer a mellow and relaxing body high that’s perfect for evenings and nighttime. The effects of Lava Cake are known to treat symptoms of chronic pain, nausea, migraines, stress, and anxiety. The THC % of Lava Cake is 89.4% and the CBD % is 1.3%.
My least favorite is their Sherbet, which tastes like a sweet pine-flavored air freshener
Next, my least favorite was Sherbet, an evenly balanced hybrid cross between GSC and Pink Panties. There’s an artificial off-putting taste to this one that overpowers any flavor, which tastes like a sweet pine-flavored air freshener. The effects of Sherbet offer some light cerebral uplift and mild body relaxation, which was great for any time of the day. The effects of Sherbet are said to treat symptoms of ADD/ADHD, anxiety, arthritis, bipolar disorder, chronic pain, depression, insomnia, loss of appetite, mood swings, and stress. The THC % of Sherbet is 90.3% and the CBD % is 0.5%.
The other two strains, Easy Rider and Smoke Break has a generic flavor with notes of citrus, pine, and earth, similar to their Sherbet
Finally, the other two strains they sent us were Easy Rider and Smoke Break, which are both Sativas. While Easy Rider is a Sativa-leaning hybrid between Dutch Treat and Ruderalis, Smoke Break is an unknown Sativa dominant hybrid cross of mysterious genetics. Although Smoke Break has hints of spice, the flavor of these other two strains still has a generic flavor with notes of citrus, pine, and earth, similar to their Sherbet. The effects of both strains felt energetic, focused, and creative. While the THC % of Easy Rider is 86.3% and the CBD % is 0.2%, the THC % of Smoke Break is 89.2% and the CBD % 2.5%.
However, these aren’t as harsh as the Cake Delta-8 disposables and the Delta Extrax Zenergy disposables
The retail price for Dank Tank disposables is listed as $55.00 for a 1080/1100 mg cartridge on their official website. Although harsher and more generic than other similar live resin disposables, these aren’t as harsh as the Cake Delta-8 disposables and the Delta Extrax Zenergy disposables. The only strain for this batch I would recommend is their Lava Cake, while the other three felt slightly harsher in taste and milder in effects.
Overall, I would recommend Lava Cake, but would not recommend the other three strains
Ultimately, I would only recommend the Lava Cake disposable from Dank Tank for its flavor, which felt true to the strain profile. Although the other three disposables felt harsh and generic, all four disposables had some of the desired effects with moderate potency. The least favorite from this batch was their Sherbet, which tasted artificial compared to the other strains. You can currently find Dank Tank disposables on their website here.
