Former President Barack Obama signed Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment into effect on December 16, 2014. Rohrabacher-Farr prohibits the U.S. Justice Department from spending funds that interfere with the implementation of state medical marijuana laws.
Furthermore, Rohrabacher-Farr protects medicinal marijuana usage. For example, the D.E.A recently banned CBD; however, Rohrabacher-Farr may protect CBD patients in certain states.
