Today we will have another look at Maven Extracts. This time we will be sampling their live rosin, which is manufactured in-house at Maven Genetics. Previously, I have consistently enjoyed their live resin, cured resin, and sugar diamonds, whose reviews reside here. I also particularly enjoyed their collaboration with Rove Brand for their Maven OG cured resin cartridge last fall. Maven Genetics currently offers flower eighths, pre-rolls, concentrates, and now, live resin cartridges throughout California. Actually, I tried their Tropaya live rosin and remember enjoying it last fall. For this review, I will try their Orange Truffle Souffle live rosin from Maven Extracts.

This week, I bought Maven Extracts Orange Truffle Souffle live rosin, which is a Sativa dominant cross between Garlic Butter and Orange Julius. Its dominant terpenes are

Its consistency is similar to the live rosin from Suprize Suprize, Field Extracts, and Schackow Farms

Upon opening the jar, it was apparent that this live rosin was easily worth the purchase based on the pungent aroma and thick consistency. This live rosin had a creamy caramel color with a wet and smooth surface. It was similar to their Tropaya live rosin last year. There’s a nice thick ring of golden translucent rosin sauce on the top and around its surface. Its soft butter-like consistency was similar to the live rosin from Suprize Suprize, Field Extracts, and Schackow Farms. The aroma of Orange Truffle Souffle is fruity, skunky, and spicy. It also has sweet, pungent notes of pine, orange, mint, and earth. The taste is sweet, nutty, and floral with creamy notes of tangerines, pine, diesel, and earth.

The effects of Orange Truffle Souffle felt uplifting, focused, and euphoric, which left me with a more energetic and creative mindset. The retail price for Maven Extract live rosin is usually around $48 for a gram, pre-tax. Overall, this live rosin felt almost as tasty and potent as Feeling Frosty, Punch Extracts and Cali Stripe Concentrates for a slightly lower price. If you enjoyed the live resin concentrates from Maven Extracts, I would highly suggest you check out their live rosin selection. In my opinion, this live rosin from Maven Extracts is worth trying, especially for its surprisingly agreeable price range.

So all things considered, Maven Extracts live rosin is highly recommended for its exceptional quality, strong potency, and solid taste for a surprisingly great value. This live rosin was not quite as tasty and potent as Feeling Frosty, Punch Extracts, and Cali Stripe Concentrates. However, this live rosin was better tasting, longer-lasting, and more potent than the live rosin from CLSICS. In addition, I wouldn’t hesitate to try another gram of their solventless live rosin, which is easily worth recommending for a lower price range than other similar live rosin choices out there.
