Jetty Extracts Live Badder Review – Great For Beginners

Share

Today we will take another look at the Oakland-based company Jetty Extracts, which we have reviewed in the past, including their regular cartridges and live resin diamonds. Jetty Extracts currently offers cartridges, concentrates, Pax pods, and their signature Dablicator oil applicator. Jetty Extracts is also responsible for The Shelter Project, which is a pilot program with Harborside Oakland providing free cannabis to cancer patients since 2014. In terms of concentrates, Jetty Extracts offers live resin sugar, live resin badder, and live resin diamonds. For this review, I’ll take a look at the pros and cons of Jetty Extracts live resin badder.

Pros:

  • Excellent quality for badder
  • Great taste/flavor
  • Affordable prices
  • Good potency
  • Great for beginners

Cons:

  • Potency could be improved

Recommendations: The potency could be improved for the live badder.

Slightly tastier than The Live Resin Project, Lemonnade, 101 Cannabis Co., PFFN

This week, I picked up two different strains of Jetty Extracts live badder, Lionheart, and G4 OG. Lionheart is a Sativa dominant hybrid between African Sativa and US #14 Sativa. The aroma of Lionheart is musky, earthy, and skunky with sweet notes of citrus, pine, and spices. The taste is very similar to the aroma with a sweet and spicy citrus aftertaste. The Lionheart badder was slightly tastier than the live resin badders and/or budders for The Live Resin Project, Lemonnade, 101 Cannabis Co., and PFFN Concentrates.

The potency of the Lionheart felt on par with Minntz Ice Cream Cake

The effects of Lionheart felt uplifting, energetic, and focused after some initial cerebral euphoria. This strain was great for mornings and afternoons as I felt productive yet mentally creative throughout the day. It treats symptoms of chronic pain, depression, fatigue, and stress while lifting your overall mood. The THC % is 63.55%, the THC-A is 70.30%, and the CBD % is 0.00%. The potency of the Lionheart badder felt on par with Minntz Ice Cream Cake.

The G4 OG badder looks and feels more like live resin sauce or jam

This week, I also picked up G4 OG, which is an Indica dominant hybrid cross between G-13 and Chem 4 OG. G-13 and Chem 4 OG are two powerhouse strains with plenty of medicinal properties. The taste of the G4 OG live badder is sweet, spicy, and skunky aroma with hints of citrus, pine, fuel, and earth. The appearance and consistency felt more like live resin sauce or jam, especially compared to the Lionheart live badder.

Lionheart was perfect for daytime use

G4 OG was great for evenings, Lionheart was perfect for daytime use

The effects of G4 OG felt calming, uplifting, and relaxing after some initial euphoria. Its effects nicely settled into full-body relaxation before feeling sedated into the night. G4 OG was great for evenings while Lionheart was perfect for daytime use. The THC % is 66.57%, the THC-A % is 54.38%, and the CBD % is 0.00%.

Both badders felt slightly more potent than The Live Resin Project, Lemonnade, 101 Cannabis Co. and PFFN

The pricing for Jetty Extracts live resin badder is roughly around $40 for a gram, pre-tax. In my opinion, this is highly recommended for its quality, taste, and smoothness, especially if you are only starting to explore cannabis concentrates. But the diamonds are far more potent for the experienced user. In addition, the Lionheart badder felt tastier, stronger, and more effective than the G4 OG badder.

Overall, I preferred the Lionheart over G4 OG in terms of taste, potency, and effects

In conclusion, both Jetty live badders were slightly better than much similar live badders from The Live Resin Project, Lemonnade, 101 Cannabis Co. and PFFN Concentrates in terms of flavor and potency. However, it was not quite as tasty or as potent as Wonderbrett live badder. Jetty live badder is recommended for beginners and immediate users. If you want something with stronger potency, I would highly recommend Jetty live resin diamonds. Also, I preferred the Lionheart badder over G4 OG badder in terms of taste, potency, and effects. Jetty Extracts currently offers cartridges, concentrates, Pax pods, and their signature Dablicator oil applicator throughout most dispensaries in California. All Jetty Extracts products can be found through their store locator here.
