Dr. Dabber Boost EVO Review – Extremely Durable and User-friendly

Share

Today we will take a look at the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO, which is one of the latest and most intuitive E-rigs to hit the market. We have previously reviewed the Dr. Dabber Boost and the Dr. Dabber Switch on our website. The Boost EVO is the latest product to be released from Dr. Dabber, which looks to be a more convenient and efficient version that improves on the previous generations of Dr. Dabber E-Rigs. We’ll detail our experience objectively as always in our non-affiliate reviews. The Dr. Dabber Boost EVO currently runs for $329.95 on their website. For this review, we will take a look at the pros and cons of Dr. Dabber Boost EVO portable E-Rig.

Pros:

  • Solid and sturdy design
  • Great battery life
  • Extremely durable
  • Very user-friendly with simple menu features
  • Can work with a variety of different concentrates

Cons:

  • None

Recommendations: None

Dr. Dabber Boost EVO kit includes four main essential parts

The Dr. Dabber Boost EVO comes in a thick black foam case that carries four main essential parts: the Boost EVO battery, a magnetic quartz atomizer with a stainless steel body, a glass bubbler attachment, and a magnetic quick-connect adapter ring. A hidden compartment on the top left side corner conceals a USB charging cable and a dab tool. The quartz atomizer is conveniently located right underneath the glass bubbler attachment. In addition, the glass bubbler attachment seems relatively thick and difficult to break unless dropped.

Build quality and design is more compact than High Five Duo and Puffco Peak

The build quality and design of the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is more compact than the High Five Duo and the Puffco Peak with the quartz atomizer located underneath the glass bubbler attachment. But the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is also bulkier than the XMax Qomo. However, the XMax Qomo is also messier to use and clean than the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO.

Stronger, less messy, and more efficient than most E-Rigs, battery lasts longer than most E-Rigs

The battery life and performance of Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is also longer-lasting and stronger than the XMax Qomo as well as the XVape Vista Mini 2, which is somewhat similar in size and weight. To charge the battery unit, the USB charging port is also conveniently located on the side of the battery.

Very user-friendly due to its easy assembly and its accessible menu features

Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is also highly recommended due to its easy assembly and its accessible menu features. The battery/base unit for the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is turned on/off by pressing the power button five times. The temp setting is toggled through by pressing the power button three times. The glow mode is turned on/off by pressing it four times. The stealth mode is activated by pressing two times with the glow mode turned off. The heating chamber is activated by pressing down on the power button for three seconds. Once the light turns from red to green, wait for 2-3 seconds before pushing the airflow release button to release the vapor from the chamber, then simply inhale.

Boost EVO is really easy to assemble

Dr. Dabber Boost EVO has 6 main pre-set voltages:

As always, for better flavor and to conserve your wax, use a lower voltage setting. For stronger potency and bigger clouds, use a higher voltage setting.

  • 500 degrees as indicated by purple
  • 550 degrees as indicated by blue
  • 600 degrees as indicated by the cyan
  • 650 degrees as indicated by green
  • 700 degrees as indicated by yellow
  • 750 degrees as indicated by white

Extremely easy to clean, works extremely well with most concentrates

The Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is also extremely easy to clean, assemble and disassemble. All you need to do is soak the glass bubbler attachment with the magnetic quartz atomizer, then wipe down the top of the battery, along with the magnetic adapter ring, with alcohol. This portable E-Rig also works extremely well with a wide variety of different concentrates, including live resin, diamonds, and live rosin.

Concluding our thoughts on the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO…

In conclusion, the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO portable E-rig is worth the investment for its solid design, strong durability, simple ease of use, and its ability to work with different concentrates, including live resin, diamonds, and live rosin. The battery performance for the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is stronger and more efficient than the XMax Qomo and the XVape Vista Mini 2 but similar to the High Five Duo. When it comes to maintenance, Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is easier to clean and less messy than most E-Rigs, including the XMax Qomo and the XVape Vista Mini 2. Overall, Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is easily one of the best, most efficient, and most versatile portable E-Rigs I’ve used so far. The Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is available to purchase for $329.95 on their website.
