Cannabis Cvlt Cured Resin Review – Consistent and Affordable

Share

Allow us to introduce Cannabis Cvlt, which was established in 2018 by Bad Wizard Concentrates. As a new brand that recently arrived at my local dispensary, I found the packaging, the selection, and the prices from Cannabis Cvlt to be worth a look. So I have tried a variety of different consistencies from Cannabis Cvlt this past month. For instance, I have tried their Mac Daddy cured resin sauce, Forbidden Berries live resin badder, and Zega OG x Runtz terp sugar. For this review, I will try a couple of different strains of their cured resin badder.

Pros:

  • Strong potency
  • Solid flavor
  • Surprisingly great consistency
  • Affordable prices

Cons:

  • Taste could be improved for some

Recommendations: None

The look of Raspberry Pound Cake is similar to the cured resin badder from Cream of the Crop and Highlights

The packaging for Cannabis Cvlt consists of a simple black box with its logo and design, which resembles a heavy metal album cover. First, I tried their Raspberry Pound Cake cured resin badder. Raspberry Pound Cake is an Indica dominant hybrid cross of unknown origin. The look of Raspberry Pound Cake has a slightly amber yellow color with a glossy surface. The color and consistency of the Raspberry Pound Cake are similar to the cured resin badder from Cream of the Crop

and Highlights from Connected Co. The aroma and taste of Raspberry Pound Cake are sweet, fruity, and skunky with hints of berries, citrus, pine, and diesel. The effects of Raspberry Pound Cake felt calming, relaxing, and euphoric, making it an ideal strain for evenings and weekends. The THC % of Raspberry Pound Cake is 75.32%, total terpene % is 6.95% and the total cannabinoid % is 88.14%.

The look of Zega OG is similar to the cured resin sugar from Maven Extracts and Highland Oil Co.

Next, I also picked up their Zega OG cured resin badder. Zega OG is an Indica dominant hybrid cross between SFV OG and Little Dragon, which combines OG Kush, Colombian and Thai genetics. The look of Zega OG has more of bright yellow color with a dry sugar-like consistency. The color and consistency of their Zega OG are similar to the cured resin sugar from Maven Extracts and Highland Oil Co. The OG-heavy aroma and flavor of Zega OG are sweet, sour, and gassy with notes of citrus, pine, and earth. The effects of Zega OG felt calmer, heavier, and even more sedative than the Raspberry Pound Cake; however, it tasted slightly more generic than the other strains that I’ve had from this brand. The THC percentage of Raspberry Pound Cake is 74.02%, total terpenes percentage is 7.60% and the total cannabinoid percentage is 86.94%.

Of the two choices, Raspberry Pound Cake had better flavor and consistency than the Zega OG

The retail price for cured resin from Cannabis Cvlt is usually around $23-24 for a full gram, pre-tax. Overall, I preferred their Raspberry Pound Cake over the Zega OG for better flavor and consistency. In addition to their Raspberry Pound Cake, I would recommend their Zega OG x Runtz cured resin sugar and Mac Daddy cured resin sauce slightly more than their Zega OG. Although I was very satisfied with the potency of their cured resin, I enjoyed the flavor of their Forbidden Berries live resin slightly more than their cured resin for a few extra dollars.

Cannabis Cvlt cured resin badder has great potency, flavor, and consistency

Final score: Cannabis Cvlt cured resin badder offers strong potency, solid flavor, and surprisingly great consistency at a more affordable value than other brands. Out of everything I’ve tried this past month, I would recommend Forbidden Berries live resin for the best flavor. Both Raspberry Pound Cake and Zega OG cured resin badder are recommended for their strong potency. Zega OG x Runtz cured resin sugar and Mac Daddy cured resin sauce is recommended for some of the better consistency for cured resin. You can find Cannabis Cvlt products, such as their live and cured resin concentrates in select dispensaries throughout California here.
