Dime Bag Live Resin Sugar Review – Tasty and Budget-conscious

Share

Today we will look at Dime Bag Concentrates, which is the budget-conscious brand for Loudpack Extracts. We have previously reviewed the live resin from Loudpack Extracts here. I greatly enjoyed the live resin sugar and badder from Loudpack Extracts so much that I wanted to try their budget brand. I have tried their flower eighths and pre-rolls for the past few years. Dime Bag is currently available in flower eighths, pre-rolls, cartridges and live resin concentrates throughout California. For this review, I’ll take a look at the pros and cons of Dime Bag live resin sugar

Pros:

  • Great oil quality
  • Very good taste
  • Above-average potency
  • Affordable prices

Cons:

  • Potency could be slightly improved

Recommendations: Potency could be improved, although I can’t complain about the low retail price for this live resin sugar.

The look of this Garanimals live resin is similar to Friendly Farms cured sugar, MX Brand, Wox Extracts

This week, I picked up the Garanimals live resin sugar from Dime Bag Concentrates. Garanimals is an Indica dominant hybrid strain cross between

Grape Pie and Animal Cookies. The look of this live resin sugar looks saucier than Loudpack Extracts, very similar to Friendly Farms, MX Brand, and Wox Extracts. The wet consistency is easy to work with glass rigs and wax pens. However, there’s not enough consistency for bigger E-rigs and/or E-Nails such as the Freeze Pipe E-Nail as the extract is more wet than dry.

The potency of this live resin sugar isn’t quite as strong as Loudpack Extracts, but tasty as Mango Brulee and Passion Orange Guava

The musky aroma of this Garanimals live resin sugar is sweet, spicy, nutty, and floral with pungent notes of grapes, berries, pine, and earth. The taste is similarly sweet, fruity, and floral while leaving a rich, creamy, and funky OG aftertaste on the exhale. The potency of this live resin sugar isn’t quite as strong as the live resin concentrates as Loudpack Extracts. However, the flavor of Garanimals live resin was as tasty as the Loudpack Mango Brulee and Passion Orange Guava.

The taste is similarly sweet, fruity, and floral,

This live resin sugar felt as effective as Friendly Farms, MX Brand, and Wox Extracts in its potency and taste

The initially cerebral effects of Garanimals eventually felt calming, relaxing.  Yet I felt focused as it was great during any time of the day. The most dominant terpene found in Garanimals is noted as caryophyllene, which is a spicy terpene commonly found in black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, basil and oregano.

Caryophyllene has been known to have powerful anti-inflammatory effects. This terpene helps in reducing chronic stress, anxiety, chronic pain and/or inflammation of the muscles and nerves. Overall, this live resin sugar felt as effective as Friendly Farms, MX Brand and Wox Extracts in its potency and taste.

Dime Bag garanimals box details

Maven Extracts were tastier and felt more potent than the Dime Bag Garanimals live resin sugar

The price for the Dime Bag Concentrates live resin sugar is usually around $25 for a full gram, pre-tax.

In my opinion, these live resin concentrates from Dime Bag are worth their very affordable prices for their oil quality, taste, and potency. The total THC % is 63.43%, the CBD is 0.00% and the total cannabinoids is not listed. Although the THC % is somewhat lower than most live resin, I felt strong entourage effects to alleviate my symptoms throughout my day. However, the Maven Extracts were tastier and felt more potent than the Dime Bag Garanimals live resin sugar.

Overall, Dime Bag Concentrates live resin is recommended for its great oil quality, very good taste, and relatively strong potency

In conclusion, Dime Bag Concentrates live resin is worth their modest price for their great oil quality, very good taste, and relatively strong potency. The potency isn’t quite as high or strong as Loudpack Extracts and Maven Extracts. But on the other hand, it was as tasty as Loudpack live resin concentrates and Maven cured sugar.

Overall, I enjoyed this Garanimals live resin sugar as much as Friendly Farms, MX Brand, and Wox Extracts. Since the extract is more wet than dry, the consistency was easy to work with glass rigs and wax pens. However, it doesn’t quite work as well for bigger E-rigs and/or E-Nails such as the Freeze Pipe E-Nail. Currently, Dime Bag is available in flower eighths, pre-rolls, cartridges and live resin concentrates throughout California.
