Today, we will cover the ConNectar from Stache Products, most well known for their The Rio E-rig. Stache Products currently offers the flagship Rio E-rig, their own digitally controlled E-Nail, the ConNectar, and a few other accessories. Currently, the ConNectar from Stache Products runs for a full retail price of $19.99. Their complete ConNectar kit runs for $39.99, also available in special limited editions on their website. We will detail our experience objectively as always in our non-affiliate reviews. For this review, I will specifically look at the ConNectar kit.

ConNectar is one of the latest add-on accessories from Stache Products

The ConNectar doesn’t work with auto-draw batteries. The ConNectar can turn most 510-threaded batteries into an instant electronic nectar collector that’s perfect for discrete solo sessions or traveling on the road. Although the ConNectar kit includes a slim 400mAh battery, the ConNectar unit is also sold separately.

The ConNectar is most similar to the Little Dipper from Dip Devices when using the slim battery

When using the slim battery included in the complete kit, the ConNectar is most similar to the Little Dipper from Dip Devices. However, the Little Dipper isn’t as versatile as it doesn’t work with 510-threaded cartridges. Unlike other similar nectar collectors, the performance of the ConNectar depends almost entirely upon the strength and efficiency of the battery attached to the ConNectar unit. For better performance, I would recommend a higher voltage setting or a stronger battery.

The ConNectar consists of four main parts:

• airflow base

• plastic straw mouthpiece

• Clapton Coil

• coil cap

Using the ConNectar kit is extremely easy and user-friendly:

• When opening the box, the ConNectar is already mostly assembled

• Screw on the 510-threaded slim battery included in the kit

• Take off the cap for the coil

• Turn on the battery and adjust the voltage setting to your preference

• Gently tap the surface of your extract

The limited editions of the ConNectar are much more preferred for their ceramic straw mouthpiece

The ConNectar works best with live resin sauce, diamond sauce, sugar, shatter and crumble. Specifically, it is especially useful when working with a saucier consistency or with any leftover wax that is hard to reach inside a jar. Personally, I would not recommend using the ConNectar for live rosin or diamonds as it created a few airflow issues in my experience. However, the ceramic straw mouthpiece for the limited editions of the ConNectar is much more preferred than the regular plastic mouthpiece for a few extra dollars.

Less bulky and more compact yet not quite as efficient as the Huni Badger, Lookah Seahorse Pro, and Inhalco Stinger

While the Stache ConNectar is less bulky, more compact, and easier to operate than other electronic nectar collectors, it’s not quite as efficient as the Huni Badger

, Lookah Seahorse Pro, and the Inhalco Stinger. Although simple to use, the Stache ConNectar is a bit more difficult to clean and maintain than other nectar collectors, due to the width and length of its straw mouthpiece. Because of its long and narrow mouthpiece, the Stache ConNectar does clog more often than other electronic nectar collectors. As a result, it needs regular maintenance after every session. After unscrewing the battery and removing the coil cap, the only parts to worry about are the ceramic coil and the straw mouthpiece. Simply wipe away any residue on the Clapton coil then soak the mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol, which removes any wax left inside the mouthpiece.

The Stache ConNectar is perfect for discrete solo sessions or traveling on the road

In conclusion, the Stache ConNectar is recommended for its discreet portability, solid flavor, and ease of use. Although the ConNectar is easy to use, it is more difficult to clean and it clogs more often than other nectar collectors. For a few dollars more, I would recommend the limited edition ConNectars for their stronger durability.
