Friendly Farms Cured Resin Cartridge Review – Solid Potency and Taste

Share

Today we will take a look at Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges from Seven Leaves, which is another very popular brand in California. We have previously reviewed the live resin cartridges here. Recently, I also enjoyed their cured sauce in collaboration with Seven Leaves, particularly their Vovo and Blue Slush. Friendly Farms has also previously collaborated with Alien Labs, Connected, Humboldt’s Finest, LitHouse, and Terp Hogz among others. Friendly Farms currently offers cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, and tinctures in select dispensaries throughout California. For this review, I will take a look at the pros and cons of the Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges.

Pros:

  • Excellent oil quality
  • Solid potency/effects
  • Affordable price
  • Great taste

Cons:

  • None

Recommendations: None

Friendly Farms utilizes the same AVD hardware as Cookies Enterprises and Blue River

The build quality and design are sturdy and reliable as they utilize the same AVD hardware as the sauce cartridges from Cookies Enterprises and Blue River. The oil quality looks somewhat lighter in color than other similar cured resin and/or sauce cartridges. The oil also burns at a normal rate throughout this sauce cartridge.

Not quite as tasty as the new Kurvana sauce cartridges, but slightly tastier than Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom

This week, I picked up the Jupiter Jack cured resin cartridge from the collaboration between Friendly Farms and Seven Leaves. Jupiter Jack is a Sativa-dominant phenotype of Jack Herer, which is perfect for daytime usage. The taste of Jupiter Jack is sweet, floral, and spicy with hints of lemon, pine, and earth. The effects of Jupiter Jack felt initially euphoric, creative, and focused followed by an uplifting and relaxing body high. This strain is intended to treat mental or neurological disorders, including bipolar disorder, anxiety, migraines, PTSD, and ADHD.

Although I enjoyed the potency of this Jupiter Jack cured resin cartridge, the flavor was not quite as tasty as the new Kurvana Carbon21 sauce cartridges. However, the flavor of both cured resin cartridges from Friendly Farms is slightly tastier than the live resin and sauce cartridges from Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom. The THC % of Jupiter Jack is 80.28% and the total cannabinoid % is 90.75%.

Slightly stronger than Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom

Next, I also picked up the Grease Monkey cartridge from Friendly Farms and Seven Leaves. Grease Monkey is an Indica dominant hybrid cross between GG4 and Cookies and Cream from Exotic Genetix. The taste of Grease Monkey is sweet, nutty, and skunky with hints of vanilla, earth, and diesel. The effects of Grease Monkey felt euphoric, relaxing, and sedative.

This strain effectively relieves symptoms of chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, loss of appetite, nausea, and stress. Overall, the overall potency of both cured resin cartridges felt slightly stronger than Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom. The THC % of Grease Monkey is 71.44% and the total cannabinoid % is 77.79%.

Jupiter Jack’s strength is its potency; Grease Monkey’s strength is its flavor

The retail price for the cured resin cartridges from the collaboration between Friendly Farms and Seven Leaves is usually $40 for a full gram, pre-tax. In my opinion, this is one of the better-cured resin cartridges for its quality, potency, and taste. The price is similar to Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom, but with slightly better taste and potency. While I enjoyed the Jupiter Jack for its solid potency, I enjoyed the Grease Monkey for its delicious flavor.

Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges have excellent oil quality, solid potency, and great taste

In conclusion, Friendly Farms cured resin cartridges are recommended for their excellent oil quality, solid potency, and great taste. Both cured resin cartridges were slightly tastier and felt more potent than the live resin/sauce cartridges from Timeless Noir, Pacific Stone, and Legion of Bloom. However, Kurvana sauce cartridges, Blue River Jelly sauce cartridges, and Heavy Hitters Live were tastier and stronger than the cured resin cartridges from Friendly Farms. In addition, I preferred the flavor of Grease Monkey over the Jupiter Jack, which felt more potent than Grease Monkey.

Friendly Farms currently offers cartridges, concentrates, flower eighths, and tinctures in select dispensaries throughout California, which can be found on Weedmaps here. Have you tried them? Let us know in the comments or on our forum.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Friendly Farms is a frequently counterfeited brand. We hear many, many reports of fakes on the street, and even the brand owner dropped by to personally advise our readers about spotting fakes. Be sure you get your Friendly Farms from a licensed, reputable dispensary to ensure a quality experience.
