Today we will take a look at Buddies Brand, which many consider one of the best, most popular cartridges currently in the market. This is the first time I’m trying the Buddies Brand Liquid Diamonds cartridge. For this review, I will be looking at the pros and cons of the Buddies Brand Liquid Diamonds cartridge.

This week, I picked up the Buddies Jack Flash x Apple Gelato Liquid Diamonds cartridge. Once you break down this interesting hybrid, Jack Flash is a hybrid of Super Skunk and Haze and Apple Gelato is a hybrid of Gelato 33 and Sour Apple. The THC % of Jack Flash x Apple Gelato is 77.22% and the terp profile is 9.25%. The oil quality looks darker than Raw Garden and Stiiizy Silver, but lighter than
Heavy Hitters, Legion of Bloom, and WOX/URSA. The oil seems to burn quicker than the usual live resin cartridge.The build quality and design are solid and efficient with standard CCell hardware; however, the cart is not made out of glass. Its hardware is similar to Select carts with the plastic tip, although it does not have a Buddies logo. Overall, I had no major issues with the airflow and/or hardware throughout most of the cartridge.
The effects of Jack Flash x Apple Gelato are initially uplifting and euphoric. After the Indica elements spread throughout the body, relaxing your nerves and muscles. This was perfect for mornings and afternoons as it has both Sativa and Indica properties. Its potency is close to what I’ve experienced with Heavy Hitters, Legion of Bloom, WOX/URSA diamond sauce carts. However, it is stronger than Bloom Brand live resin, the Lemonnade sauce carts, and Rove Featured Farms cartridges.
The taste of the Jack Flash x Apple Gelato is initially more earthy and floral than sweet and fruity, leaving you with a gassy and creamy apple Jolly Rancher aftertaste. The Jack Flash genetics provides me with immediate pain relief and the Apple Gelato provides an irresistible flavor. BB is easily the best cartridge that I’ve had since trying a Wox Strawberry Fields cartridge a few months ago. This is also tastier than the Bloom Brand live resin, the Lemonnade sauce carts, and Rove Featured Farms cartridges.
Both the distillate with cannabis-derived terpenes and liquid diamonds are available in 510 threaded cartridges and Pax Era pods. The Buddies 510 threaded full gram live resin cartridges usually retail at 40-50, pre-tax and the half gram Pax Era pods retail at $30-40, pre-tax. It is highly advised you use the Pax Era Pro for your Pax pods, as they produce stronger hits and milkier clouds. Based on instructions on their website, it’s advised that the Pax temperature is set between 520 and 550 degrees. As of now, the liquid diamonds in their regular 510-thread cartridges are highly recommended for its retail price.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Buddies live resin cartridges for the excellent quality, potency, and taste for a fair price. The potency of Buddies live resin cartridges are close to what I’ve experienced with Heavy Hitters, Legion of Bloom, WOX/URSA diamond sauce carts. However, it is stronger and tastier than Bloom Brand live resin, the Lemonnade sauce carts, and Rove Featured Farms cartridges. Received one as part of promo pkg. Would have felt ripped off if I had bought at full price. Vape battery died while more than half the cartridge was left. Never had that happen with any other disposable.
I tend to agree with the reviewer. I stocked up on ALOT of different Buddies strains last time in LA. When I first tried the Forbidden Fruit I lost my mind at how close the pull was to what the plant smells and tastes like. Strawberry Banana another favorite. Then consider 40-50 for a full gram and you’ve got a real winner; when others like Moxie and Friendly Farms running at least that for halves. Thanks for the review.
WRT to other commenter, maybe when compared to a Raw Garden which claims to be live resin, but is also distillate, Buddies are less potent.
im gonna be honest, buddies is one of the weaker cartridges across the board including the lower level oils. I can't help but feel the reviewer is a lightweight and this is inaccurate for anyone actually looking to get high
You're welcome to have that opinion, but the reviewer has an Instagram channel just bursting with videos of dabbing extracts, so I'd have to beg to differ about the "lightweight" part.
However, there are variables that can affect a cartridge's potency. Some of it can be up to age and handling, for instance:

If a cart is a year ld or has been left in the car dashboard, that can weaken it. But besides that, batches can vary by potency, or the same brand operating in two states can have different levels of quality. Some companies do get better or worse over time too, so this might call for another review to check back later.
