Blue River Jelly Sauce Cart Review – Enjoyably Smooth Taste

Share

Today we will take a look at Blue River Jelly Sauce cartridges from their collaboration with Cookies Enterprises. We have previously reviewed numerous Cookies collaborative brands, such as Lemonnade, Minntz, and Runtz. I have also previously enjoyed most of the products from Blue River Extracts for the past year. I especially liked their cold cure live rosin. Most recently, I enjoyed their Malibu Marsha cold cure live rosin from

ABR Farms during the holidays last year. But this is the first time I’m trying their Solventless Jelly Sauce cartridges, which are made from the solventless refined blend of their full spectrum rosin sauce with cannabis-derived terpenes.

Blue River has also previously collaborated with Kalya Extracts for their Jelly Sauce cartridges here. However, when I spotted this recent collaboration with Cookies Enterprises, I had to immediately pick it up. Blue River Extracts currently offers rosin sauce and jelly sauce for two available solventless variations for their cartridges. For the jelly sauce cartridges, there are also “Live” and “Cured” jelly sauce variations. For this review, I will take a look at the pros and cons of Blue River Jelly Sauce cartridges.

Pros:

  • Excellent oil quality
  • Strong potency
  • Better entourage effects
  • Enjoyably smooth taste

Cons:

  • Slightly expensive for a half-gram

Recommendations: None

The oil looks dark and amber, yet thicker than Legion of Bloom, Hi Fly, and Pacific Stone

This week, I picked up the Blue River Cereal Milk Jelly Sauce cartridge in collaboration with Cookies Enterprises. The build quality and design are extremely solid and efficient. They utilize AVD hardware in a glass cartridge with a Blue River logo printed on the glass and a white ceramic bullet mouthpiece. The oil looks dark and amber, yet thicker than other sauce cartridges like Legion of Bloom, HIFLY, and Pacific Stone. The oil also burned slightly slower than most sauce cartridges. This cartridge also worked with a standard variable voltage battery and a Pacific Stone pull the battery. However, there were a few airflow issues towards the end of the cartridge. Actually, I would highly recommend a low temp battery or an AVD seed battery for this jelly sauce cartridge. (Note: The Blue River AVD cartridge also works with the Utillian battery and the PCKT One +.)

Cereal Milk has a nice balance of strong cerebral sativa effects and relaxing Indica body high effects

Cereal Milk is an evenly balanced hybrid cross between Y Life (GSC x Cherry Pie) and Snowman, which is a Sativa dominant GSC prototype. The taste of this Cereal Milk Jelly Sauce cartridge is fruity, spicy, and earthy that tastes like sweet berries, sugary cereal, and creamy vanilla. The effects of Cereal Milk felt mellow, relaxing, and focused as I felt more creative and sociable. This strain was great for any time of the day as it had a nice balance of strong cerebral Sativa effects and relaxing Indica body high effects. This strain is intended to help with symptoms of chronic pain, depression, fatigue, loss of appetite, and stress.

Stronger with better entourage effects than the other sauce cartridges from Legion of Bloom, Hi Fly, and Pacific Stone

The price for Blue River jelly sauce cartridges usually retails around $60 for a half gram, pre-tax. The THC % of this Cereal Milk jelly sauce cartridge is 69.8%, the total terpene % is 10.56%, the total CBD % is 0.29% and the total cannabinoid potency is 85.72%. Although this can be relatively pricey for a half-gram sauce cartridge, this jelly sauce cartridge is highly recommended for its quality, potency, and taste. In my opinion, this is one of the best-tasting cartridges I’ve had, next to the live resin cartridges from Alpine, Buddies, and Ursa/Wox. In addition, this felt stronger with better entourage effects than other sauce cartridges, such as Legion of Bloom, Hi Fly, and Pacific Stone. The Blue River jelly sauce cartridge is highly recommended for its excellent quality, strong potency, and enjoyably smooth taste

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Blue River jelly sauce cartridges for their excellent quality, strong potency, and enjoyably smooth taste. Even though the price can be pretty steep for a half-gram sauce cartridge, it is as tasty and potent as some of the best live resin cartridges, such as Alpine, Buddies, and Ursa/Wox. However, this felt stronger than the sauce cartridges from Legion of Bloom, HIFLY, and Pacific Stone. For the best flavor and potency, I recommend a low temp battery or an AVD seed battery is strongly advised for this jelly sauce cartridge. Blue River currently offers cold cure live rosin, rosin sauce cartridges, jelly sauce cartridges, and their proprietary signature extracts in select dispensaries and delivery services throughout California.
