Ammo Live Resin Cartridge Review – Smooth and Affordable

Share

For this DabConnection review, we will take a look at the live resin cartridges from Ammo brand. Although I have heard of this company before trying their concentrates, this is my first time trying the live resin cartridges from this brand. Ammo brand currently offers live resin concentrates, flower eighths, and half-gram live resin cartridges. This month, I reviewed their live resin concentrates here. For this review, I will try their Loaded live resin cartridges, which are currently only available in half-grams.

Pros:

  • Smooth taste
  • Solid potency
  • Affordable prices

Cons:

  • Potency could be slightly stronger

Recommendations: The potency of the live resin cartridges could be slightly improved.

Ammo Brands uses AVD hardware, similar to Cookies Enterprises, with good airflow.

I have tried a few Ammo Brand Loaded live resin cartridges which are also manufactured by Arcatax House of Extracts. The packaging for Ammo Brand live resin cartridges is conveniently color-labeled. Sativa strains are available in white-colored tubes while the Indica strains are available in dark blue colored tubes. Even the ceramic bullet mouthpiece corresponds to the color of the packaging. The oil looks darker and thicker, much like the color of the oil in the Connected live resin disposables. In terms of build quality and design, Ammo Brands uses AVD hardware which is also utilized by Cookies Enterprises

brands and collaborations with Blue River Extracts. Surprisingly, I also had very little to no issues with airflow throughout the use of this cartridge.

AK47 is spicy, skunky, and floral

AK-47 was slightly smoother and better tasting than some brands

First, I picked the AK-47 Loaded live resin cartridge from Ammo Brand manufactured by Arcata House of Extracts. AK-47 is a classic Sativa created by Dutch seed bank Serious Seeds in the 1990s. Although the exact genetics of AK-47 is unknown, it is believed to be a complex and Sativa-leaning hybrid of four different strains, specifically originated from Colombian, Mexican, Thai, and Afghani descent. The taste of this AK-47 live resin cartridge is spicy, skunky, and floral. It has hints of citrus, pine, and earth with sour fruit on the exhale. The effects of this AK-47 live resin cartridge felt uplifting, energetic, and focused. That is followed by a heady euphoric high balanced with a relaxing Indica-feeling body high.

The strain is perfect as a wake and bake or for a creative boost of mental focus and energy. This felt slightly smoother and better tasting than the live resin cartridge from Permanent Holiday, Hi Fly sauce pods, and the Connected live resin disposables. The THC % of AK-47 is 61.04% and the total cannabinoid % is 68.14% per their lab results. Here are the Ammo AK47 lab results

Chocolate Muffin is sweet, nutty, and earthy with creamy hints of chocolate, coffee, and diesel.

Chocolate Muffin felt lacking in flavor and potency compared to some

Secondly, I picked up their Chocolate Muffin live resin cartridge, which is an Indica dominant (possible?) hybrid cross between Chocolate Kush and Blueberry Muffins. The taste of Chocolate Muffin is sweet, nutty, and earthy with creamy hints of chocolate, coffee, and diesel. This one felt lacking in flavor and potency compared to the AK47 and Orange Banana live resin cartridge. It was also similar in terms of potency to the

Surplus purified live resin cartridge I had earlier this month. The effects of Chocolate Muffin felt calming, relaxing, and slightly sedative, but the effects could be stronger with this cartridge. This live resin cartridge would be better during late afternoons and early evenings. The THC % of AK-47 is 63.77% and the total cannabinoid % is 70.52% per their lab results. Orange Banana felt uplifting, creative, and euphoric yet relaxing and calming at the same time

Orange Banana was easily the best of the three

Lastly, I picked their Orange Banana live resin cartridge, which is possibly a Sativa dominant hybrid cross between Pineapple OG and Banana Split. The taste of Orange Banana is sweet, fruity, and tart with hints of oranges, bananas, and pineapple. The effects of Orange Banana felt uplifting, creative, and euphoric yet relaxing and calming at the same time. The taste and potency of Orange Banana were easily the best of the three live resin cartridges from Ammo Brand. This live resin cartridge would be great any time of day as it felt balanced between its Sativa and Indica effects. The THC % of AK-47 is 62.68% and the total cannabinoid % is 72.52% per their lab results. Ammo Orange Banana lab results

Live resin cartridges and concentrates from Ammo Brand offer great affordable prices for the casual user

The retail price for Ammo Brand live resin cartridges is usually around $15 per half-gram cartridge, pre-tax. In terms of quality and price, these live resin cartridges are slightly better yet less expensive than the Woodstock distillate cartridges. Both live resin cartridges and concentrates from Ammo Brand are recommended as great affordable options for the casual user. However, the taste of the Ammo Brand live resin could be slightly improved, and the potency for these live resin cartridges could be stronger. Yet at this price, it’s very hard to complain about any issue since they are so budget-friendly.

Ammo Brand Loaded live resin cartridges are good for the price

In finalsummation, Ammo Brand Loaded live resin cartridges are worth picking up for their solid potency, smooth taste, and incredibly low prices. We found that these live resin cartridge felt slightly smoother and better tasting than the live resin cartridge from Permanent Holiday, Hi Fly sauce pods, and the Connected live resin disposables. On the downside, the potency of these live resin cartridges could be stronger and longer-lasting. While I can recommend the flavor and potency of the Orange Banana and AK-47, the Chocolate Muffin felt lacking in its intended effects. Currently, you can find all Ammo Brand products, such as their live resin concentrates, flower eighths, and half-gram live resin cartridges here.

Vape fans, have you tried the Ammo Brand Loaded live resin carts? Did you like them? Let us know in the comments or on our forum.
